Dance Dance Baby!

Brad and I went to a dinner and dance last night. Brad's parents had tickets and decided they didn't want to go. We could not in our right minds give up a free dinner and dance plus a night of babysitting! We had a great night out and even danced quite a bit. The music was not really my style (think wedding reception in Juarez) but we managed to cut a rug anyway. I guess I got a little too crazy on the dance floor because at one point Brad danced me right off the floor and back into my seat!

Who Needs Toys??

Nathan has plenty of toys but his favorite things to play with lately?? The food! He loves to touch all of it and roll the cans on the floor. My favorite is that he loves to play hide and seek with the tuna fish. He will hide cans all over the house and I will find them in the funniest places. I could move it all and rearrange everything but it makes me smile when I find a can of tuna in one of my shoes or in the dirty clothes, or even outside in the sandbox! My little guy was there!

Silly Girl!

Brad earned an extra day off today and spent it working on the front of the house. We've had a week of mild weather, very nice after a week of snow and cold temperatures. We are trying to get all of the trim and painting done before winter. While Nathan was napping and the boys were still at school, I pulled out a camp chair and was enjoying watching Brad work. Natalie had disappeared in the house and had been gone long enough that I was about to go check on her when she emerged. She is always good for a laugh (like the winter boots?). I guess she thought the warm weather meant it was time to swim. She insisted that I put water in her "little pink swimming pool." I put about two inches of water in her pool and she had a blast for a very long time. Silly Girl!

So süß!
