Hey all.. let me brag about something not-so-significant which i had did last Sunday.. Just want to sway away from pondering how i did for my psychology exam though.. >.<

I went to Queensbay on Sunday with my family which is with my beloved mum and dad. Went to shop around and also to help dear Melvin to buy a bolster for him.. Bought him one.. Rm59.90. Why buy until so expensive? Because he told me to do so as he said what he got was money and he don't want to use cheapskate stuff.. LOL..

Before shopping, we went to sushi king and had our lunch and i ordered black pepper udon... Just love it.. ^^ And after shopping, my mum suggested to go and have an ice cream break.. So we headed to Haagen Dazs. Well look through the menu, and at last we decided to order a chocolate fondue to be shared among us..

Today i had my psychology exam.. One word to describe it : SLAUGHTERED.
Why is it so ? It is due to certain "can avoid" reason, the lecturer changed the whole set of paper. Therefore the paper became tough.. Lots of questions asked are not from our notes. And i have a great feeling that our psychology class starting from today onwards will be kinda miserable.. =(

What a wonderful surprise i had today.. Actually last month, a friend of mine , Terence, who is currently studying in Australia had actually sent me a birthday parcel for my 21st birthday. However the birthday parcel was lost in post and because he did not registered the parcel, we weren't able to trace back the parcel.

It is a set of multi-coloured tutti fruiti scented highlighters.. Look at the arrays of colours!! It is more than a full fledge or rainbow colours!! Hahaha.. And most important thing of all is that it is Australian made not China made!! =P

Terence you really melted my heart and made my day!! Thanks a lot for the wonderful gift.. You really made me love you more and more day by day!!! Hahaha.. Hope to see you soon back in Malaysia and if i have the time, i would really want to go over to Melbourne to visit you again. Missed all the sweet moments we had together in Melbourne and Brisbane!!

I can't stop resisting watching America's Got Talent.. I was like looking forward to get back to penang every weekend to catch up to see this tv show which i can't download it when i'm in uni..!! Just look at this and u will know what i mean.. =P

Omg... i actually had my BioD paper on Friday.. Before we all went in to the exam hall for our paper, there was actually a batch of pharmacy students having their exam before us. When they were walking out, i saw quite a number of them walking out with face green green (direct hokkien translation). So i was hoping that my paper won't be that tough... When i sat down and opened my question paper, i was stunned ..literally really stunned for the first 5 minutes.

So i am going to wish all the fathers in this world.....

Ok i supposed that after the price increase for fuel, we always heard our ministers especially from our Prime Minister to call us citizens to change our lifestyle(where they themselves does not change) in order to cope with the rising price of food and inflation.
Therefore i am heeding their advice to change my lifestyle from an average lifestyle to not-so-good/glamour lifestyle. I'd actually just calculated and too my shocking, i'd actually spent RM 443.00 till date since November 2007 for coffees/cakes/misc at Coffee Bean itself.
So i think i need to really change my lifestyle starting from today. I need to switch to using Tesco Value tissue papers, writing pad, toilet papers, biscuits and other stuff. (Luckilly got Tesco) And if there is another price increase for petrol and the government call us to change lifestyle again, i think i'll bang the wall to kill myself because there is no longer any lifestyle to be changed unless die lo.. = No lifestyle and everything also save.. LoL

Did i tell u all before that Jaya Jusco makes one of the best Japanese sushi's or other Japanese food? It is definately 100x much more better than those sushi's made by Carefour or Tesco or other super/hypermarkets or some even other Japanese restaurant like Sushi King. Anyway i am a Japanese food lover myself. So next time if you all wanna treat me makan, then japanese food can be included in your choice of wish list. LoL.



So i went to Queensbay today to get some stuff and also bought myself some Japanese food for my lunch. It's just so fast, easy, simple & tasty!! Haha.. Here are some of the pictures :

The Unagi rice set.. Rm 15.90. It is quite filling because there are rice below the Unagi.

This is the sauce given with the Unagi rice set. It has wasabi too. All the wordings are in Japanese. Therefore i don't know how to read.. LoL

I also bought a sushi set. RM 9.88. Quite worth it because there are lots of varieties in it.

The title of the post says it all.. Just calculated my travelling expenses. As i normally travels back to and fro between Penang & Sungai Petani every week, I'd just realised that i actually spent quite a big amount just on the toll and fuel.
So here are actually the calculations :
Toll : Penang bridge using touch & go card = RM5.60 and the 170 toll exit / sungai dua toll = Rm4.50 x 2 = RM9. Therefore the amount spent on tolls are RM5.60 + RM9 = RM14.60

Fuel : My car usually used up RM30 ringgit fuel for to and fro between Penang & Sungai Petani pertrip. However now due to the increase of fuel price of 40%, now the total fuel spent is RM42
Total for a trip = RM14.60 + RM42 = RM56.60

Therefore a total amount spent just on travelling for a month comes to a whopping RM56.60 x 4 = RM226.40 permonth

OMG.. just imagine the money spent just on travelling expenses? This excludes the maintenance of my car yet like servicing, tyres, allignment & balancing and etc... My money is really shrinking and my pocket is really drying up.....real fast...

Ok i am actually on my midsem aka study break now. It is just a week which is from 7 june to 15 june. After that i'll be back to my uni and i am going to have another 4 more papers to go which is APP, BioD, Psycology and Malaysian studies papers to go. I am just so relaxed and not motivated to study la.. I admit that i am lazy.. =P My stress is building up in a way that i am lazy to study and at the same time i am afraid i wont be doing so well in my midsem.. Irony and pathetic isn't it.. LoL.

And also most of my friends didn't managed to get into the June pre-med which i don't know why. I thought they should have been given the priority than the April batch. Moreover they shouldn't be compared with the April's batch as both batches did not sat for the same exam. So it is pretty unfair though.. If that is the case, it means that the January's batch students got to wait for about 10 months to enter the pre-med while the April batch is just merely 2 months? Big difference and definately not logical!! The uni's adminstration is really lousy.. I really don't know how they weigh their things accordingly. They are just wasting people's time & money.. Sometimes i even wonder if the university will be able to sustain for long.. Haizzzz..

Ok i had just changed my blog into a new image.. A more rugged image.. Look at the title of my blog.. No longer A Blur Boy With A Blur Mind but A Casual Boy With A Simple Mind instead.. Anyway hope to get your feedbacks on the new image.. set up a poll on the right but it is quite blur. the 1st answer is better while the second one is worst.. so please vote!! Haha.. will improve it from time to time.. a new template therefore the layout is quite different.. so be patient yea.. =)

KUALA LUMPUR: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi on Wednesday announced price hikes for petrol, diesel and electricity.

He said the new price for petrol is RM2.70 a litre, effective midnight tonight. The price goes up by 78sen from the current RM1.92, a hike of 40%.

Abdullah also announced that the price of diesel would be increased by RM1 from RM1.58 to RM2.58.

He also said that Tenaga Nasional Bhd would be raising electricity rates by 18% for homes and 26% for business users.

The announcements are part of the new fuel subsidy plan.

Abdullah also announced a RM625 annual cash rebate per vehicle, for owners of private vehicles with engine capacities of up to 2,000cc, as well as pickup trucks and jeeps with engine capacities of up to 2,500cc.

Owners of private motorcycles with engine capacities of up to 250cc will receive RM150.

Payment will be made via Money Order upon renewal of road tax, from July 1.

For owners of private vehicles with engine capacities exceeding 2000cc, road tax will be reduced by RM200.

Owners of private motorcycles with engine capacities above 250 cc will get RM50 reduction in road tax.

P.S : Omg.. petrol price increased drastically. Everything will increase such as food, air tickets, services and many more. Terrible and horrible Domino's effect!! But one thing which surely won't increase is SALARY!! I need to find more people to carpull with me to travel to and fro from Penang liao!! Who wants to carpull with me? Or share transportation with me also can!!

PETALING JAYA: Despite the rear seat belt ruling being introduced yesterday, many people still claimed ignorance of it.

Previtha Rajah, 33, said she was unaware of the start of the three-month advocacy period for the use of rear seat belts.

However, the mother of three can afford to “overlook” the ruling – for she has always got her rear seat passengers to buckle up anyway.

“For safety purposes, I have never failed to get my children, maid and other passengers to buckle up,” she added when met at a petrol kiosk here.

Roslan Hashim, 34, a technician, said he had heard of the plan but did not know it had already been implemented.

“Betulkah, saya pun tak tahu (Is it, I did not know),” he said, suggesting that more information be disseminated via the media on the new rule.

A 50-year-old businessman, who only wanted to be known as Choy, went one step further by questioned the need for the ruling.
“Most cars have only two rear seat belts. Does that mean I can only drive four people in my car?” he asked.

Federal traffic police chief Senior Asst Comm II Datuk Hamzah Taib, when contacted, said police personnel would advise motorists on the new ruling until the three-month period was up, when summonses would be issued.

“We will advise motorists of the new rule whenever we have the chance. We will not spare any effort,” he added.
He said police would work with the Road Safety Department to distribute flyers to motorists.

P.s : I'd just checked my car out. My car also got 2 rear seatbelts only. That means my car can only fetch up to 4 person including myself. So sad right when sometimes we have a click of 5 people to go out for an interesting outing but due to the enforcement of the rear seatbelts, one will be left out. Perhaps he/she can catch a cab or bus instead. =x
