Base Ball Yippie!!!

Well, its baseball time again.. I wished we could have baseball all year round. I guess we could move for that. But I would be complaining about the hot weather year round. Decker is pitching and seems to enjoy playing 2nd base. Cache starts coach today. He is so excited. I will post some pix soon...

Christmas Program

Cache's school had a christmas program a few weeks ago. I felt that it would be a great idea to blog about this for Christmas Eve. The program was probly the best one I have seen. Not because it was my Cache, *( that is a given it would be great )* but the school really did put together a great program. We had our video camera, but the battery's did not hold the charge. We were prepared too. I was real upset. It was so dang cute... the kids were real cute to watch.

sNoW fReAkInG sNoW

Its only the 3rd big storm of the year. I am done with it. This has got to stop... I know I sound like a big baby but, I have snow up to my knees already. This is from the 3 storms.. I cant believe it. My kids love it.. here are a couple of pix of them sledding.. Sledding with cast!!!

Broken wrist

So.. many of you may have heard. Decker broke his wrist.... he was playing and fell. The sad thing is.. We didnt know it was broke. He had a broken wrist for about 3 weeks before I felt it was time to take him to the Dr. I asked Decker how it was doing and he would state it was fine. It didnt swell until Thanksgiving. That is when I started to worry. He tried to turn his wrist to open a door and it hurt him bad. When the pediatrition was reviewing the x-ray's he stated that he could see an old fracture in Deckers wrist.. He stated that he also noticed that Decker is using his wrist very well.. I explained that Decker has a very high pain tolorence. The Dr stated that he would feel better if the head of raidioligist would review the xray.. well sure enough Decker had a break in his wrist. So they put him in a splint.. We had to go back the next day to the orthopedic surgeons office for a complete cast and to make sure it was healing properly... I felt horrible letting him go for so long not knowing he had such a bad injury.. He did get his cast off yesterday and the Dr said it is healing just fine.. I am real glad. It was his left wrist and he is left handed...

1. What is your husband's full name? Christopher Anthony Dog whisperer Quintana... He seriously was called Dog whisperer before the show... We should have coined phrased it.
2. How long have you been married? Do we count in dog years, or seems like, or actual? Seems like 269. The actual years are 16 ( told you this!) dog years is 112. Chris and I joke about the seems like. We really do love each other.
3. How long did you date? Just about 1 year and 6 months.
4. How old is he? Way older than me.... He totally robbed the cradle.
5. Who eats sweets? We both do. I think he might eat them more than I do though.
6. Who said I love you first? Chris did?? I responded with "huh?" I wanted to make sure I heard him correctly...
7. Who is taller? He is.. But I am very close in height in my very tall boots....
8. Who can sing the best? Um I am going to have to say....... neither one of us...
9. Who is smarter? Depends on the topic/subject. I am way smarter about clothes and shopping and kid stuff. He is way smarter on hunting and building stuff.... Get the picture?
10. Who does the laundry? I do my own and the boys' laundry. He does his own. He made the mistake of telling me he would do it, when we first got married. Guess what he is now doing his laundry.. Thank goodness. I can only do so much...
11. Who pay's the bill's? I pay all the out going that need to be mailed or now that we can pay online... I pay them online. Chris handles the rest....
12. Who sleeps on the right side? Chris sleeps on the right side... he is mad about it too.. We have a window just above my side of the bed, in the summer I get a real nice breeze to cool me down..
13. Who mow's the lawn? What is lawn?
14. Who cook's dinner? I do. I dont think he even know's how to boil water.
15. Who drive's? Most of the time Chris does.. I dont usually drive. I like the break
16. Who is first to admit when they are wrong? I am with Mel, I am never wrong so. I guess Chris will have to admit that he is wrong...... ( no wonder I am friends with Mel.. we are always right!!)
17. Who kissed who first? Totally Chris kissed me first. We used to have a joke about this topic. I would tease him about our little detours and his " I know this short cut" always ended up at make out point...
18. Who asked who out first? Chrism who wouldnt ask out a hot babe that likes baseball... After all I met him at his own baseball game.. He played on my bro's team
19. Who wears the pant's? I totally let him think he wears them... I think we are both real respectful of each others opinions. That is how it should be....
20. Who is more sarcastic?? That is totally me... Chris is a bit sarcastic but he is in the way of sarcastic where you dont know it.. I am way to much of a smart a$$ to let that go un-noticed. You know when I am being sarcastic.

16 Years

Friday was a land mark for Chris and I... We have been married for 16 years... Holy cow. I think I was married when I was 10. I am only 26 now so that is right...... I had to have been married at 10 years old. Anyway, I seriously can't belive it, when I say that out loud it doesnt seem real. I know that mariage is tuff and so many people don't even make it past 6 year's. I seriously dont know why? I have never once thought about divorce.. I guess I am lucky though. Chris and I get along very well and when we don't I send him hunting. ( hahahaha)
I love you babe... I hope we have another 16 great years. ( I know we will as long as you keep our vacations coming!!)

Roses

Chris sent me roses. I guess he kind of likes me still. After 16 years. I hope he does. I know I love him still. I miss him very much. He will be home this Saturday. Yea!!!! The boys are so excited...It will be good to have him home again. We are now getting some weather up by my house. Snow has fallen. ( yuck ) I am not ready for this at all. I just am not looking forward to the bitter cold. I dont like that part of winter. Snow is great for Christmas only... It can snow 2 weeks before and melt 1 week after Christmas. I would be just fine with that...
