Rock Springs

Last Saturday we went to Rock Springs to watch Ashlee play in a basketball Tournament. The Girls High School Basketball Coach put together a few teams of girls to take to the tournament. Ashlee is in 6th grade and will get to play middle school basketball next year. Ashlee is doing middle school track and is having fun learning how to long jump and do hurdles. Ashlee loves to play basketball and being 11 and already 5'6'', she is well on her way to having the right height for it. We also enjoyed having Grandma and Grandpa B come up and enjoy the weekend with us and are glad that they made it home safely with the wacky spring weather.

Helping spread the word

Just helping to spread the word about a great event. A benefit concert for Paul Cardall and his family. Paul was born with multiple heart defects and has been waiting since August for a new heart. As many of you know our youngest son Bryson was born with several heart defects. We find Paul and his family to be very inspiring. They give us such great hope. He is also a musician, plays the piano and has many CD's which our family loves listening to. I know many of you don't live near the wasatch front, but for those of you who do...this is an event you won't want to miss. And for those of you who don't live close just say an extra prayer for their famly. You can read more about this event here http://www.livingforeden.com/ and click on heart transplant journey to read more about his story. Thanks for taking the time to read this.

Feeling very blessed

Well last Monday Bryson had an appointment with cardiology for a sedated echo. Things look good and we don't have to return for 6 months!! We have never gone this long inbetween appts. surgeries, etc. We feel so blessed. However it took me all week to post about it becuase that very same day we recieved the news that another heart family was saying goodbye to their beautiful girl who had earned her angel wings. We are reminded every day just how precious life is. Never take a moment for granted.

B-Ball

Well the basketball season has come to an end for Eric, from early December through the end of February, Eric kept busy officiating High School Basketball. Bryson always knew when daddy was going to "B Ball". Bryson loved to find Eric's whistle and shirts and pretend to be going to "B Ball" just like his Dad.
