went to do lash extension for the first time in my life! lj recommended me to High Brows at Star Vista (picture from Google), nice deco and nice staff. i had to wait 30min before it was my turn though.
Queenie (lol), the lady who serviced me, went through all the designs with me and recommended that i should do a less dramatic one on first try. failed to go through price with me, though.
this is the before. lj said to la kopi before our sametime appt but she was late for an hour lor, doh. as usual~~
unphotoshoppable double chin in original photo so this is what is left of the closeup of my before lashes after major cropping LOL.
imo my natural lashes are not too short, just too sparse~
after 1.5hours and some tussle over the price (please confirm price before they do anything to u), this is the end product!
i quite like the effect, but am bit disturbed by the blobs of glue that i can still see now. kljs said hers cant see glue, hers done at Carragheen, Xiaxues lash place, at a higher price.
chose the shortest length so that it doesnt interfere with my glasses, but it still does totally interfere. and its so troublesome to take care! cant rub eyes cant splash water directly only water-based makeup remover.
Day 2 afew strands fell out, Day 5 a huge clump fell out. sigh~
maybe just learn to attach false eyelash on my own or juz go back to plain olde mascara~~
would still reco High Brows to Westies, plus klj said she heard its good too. lj did brows "enlivening"
not bad lah, Korean feel with the thick brows and single eyelids hahahaha.
uber cute illustration of the "holes" in her brows on Day 5 LOL. im kind of wondering if there is any quality issue cuz theoretically the lashes shouldnt fall out that fast, not to mention the brows. and they are done by different therapists. hmm okay maybe neutral opinion towards High Brows then.
totally loving neon nowadays!
