at first we were really touched by the kind gestures, but then soon after we realised its all part of the major conspiracy to lure us into the Lose Big Big gambling den of his! wah lau i lost $40 and Picky Rong lost $70 lor! =______=

yays cookies! i actually told her i prefer chocolate chips with pecan instead of pure chocolate chips, AFTER i gobbled the whole pack wahahaha.

Gift #3 - from my boss! Mr LY - u can see his forehead at the top left corner of the photo wahahaha.

my boss is actually very sweet, each of us got a different gift from him. however, i ate this before and didnt really like it cuz it was too sweet. my pregnant team mate got a jar of honey but she doesnt eat honey. wahahahaha. still, nice of him though~

Gift #4 - from my Secret Santa in office! dont know who though.

Royce from my wish list! ok but i forgot to request for dark choc, the milk choc bar too sweet for me.

Gift #5 - cherry liquer chocs from Tubbs! and yes, he is very married. boo. hahahahah.

knocked off at 320pm today, came home and caught a rerun of Notting Hill on HBO. awwww totally reminded me of why i love the show, though now i feel that Julia Roberts was a total bitch to Hugh Grant in the show and Hugh should have never accepted her after all HAHA.

saw the scenes i visited when i was in London too! that is the row of houses that Hugh's friend lived in and Julia went for dinner at.

xmas party marathons - part 1 of 2

ok dont be mistaken, my "parties" are not that happening even though i look like a happening person. hahahaha

it started with the office christmas party:

party food, not too bad given that the budget is infamously tight. no pun intended lols.

ex-boss on the right, we have come a longggg way. again, no pun intended.

logcake at 2nd party at YuL's new house. so nice of the newly-weds to prepare a sumptuous steamboat for us!

we are each supposed to bring a $20 gift for exchange, this is what i brought:

dont belittle it okayyyyy. it received dubious stares from people at the party in a are-u-sure-this-is-$20 way. look closer!

SEE?? CONFIRM got $20, there are 2 of that red note inside okayyyy. in fact, the candy pack is another $1.50, so im actually over the budget! wahahahaha.

party #3 was a simple one near home with Dor + Ting, Itacho at JCube!

(oh yes, that is my famously high forehead. dont laugh!)

been in love with Itacho's sushi lately, the roasted salmon sushi is super yums! i can never get sick of japanese food!

then we proceeded to my house for mahjong with Zen, where Dor 1 house win 3 house. i lost the least though, if that helps lols.

christmas nails

i wanted to do something christmasy but dont wanna do anything expensive or difficult, so decided on red/white tips. tried to be funny by doing it alternately:

worse thing is, i didnt just try to be funny - i tried to be REALLY funny:

bahhhhhhh. really hate the mess and didnt wanna live with it for 3 weeks (its gelish), so went to "zhng" it:

slightly better i suppose. added the red lining on my own using normal nail polish, totally crooked so i redid it again, using scotch tape:

slightly straighter now.
