be careful when u dig your ears!

yesterday morning i was digging my ears with the normal q-tip. but to my horror, when i pull out the q-tip from my ears, the cotton bud was gone! stuck inside my left ear!

cuz nobody's at home to help me extract out the cotton bud and since it doesnt hurt or impair my hearing or anything, i went out to get the free luggage with the cotton bud inside my ear. sounds gross but that's really wat happened! LOLOLOL.

later that evening, i was home and my parents were home too, daddy chan armed himself with the tweezers and mummy chan with the torchlight...

and this thing is finally removed! fwahahahahahahaha.

check whether the cotton bud is securely fastened to the q-tip before digging your ears! LOLOLOL.

it's the prettiest among all, expandable and of the size that i want (25"). but i realised it really doesnt seem sturdy. i hope it lasts throughout the trip! bah.

totally not smokeless at all

bought Groupon to visit Smokeless Palace BBQ at almost half-price, free flow of meat. Located at Keong Saik Street.

this was the bbq pot we were presented with, bbq the meat around the dome on the top, and normal soupy steamboat at the moat-ish thing surrounding the bbq dome.

.

it's not a very smart design, because the moat-ish thing was so shallow that we cant even submerge the food totally into the soup.

plus there was a constant struggle to prevent the meat we were bbq-ing on the top dome from falling into the soup.

not to mention that the fats from the meat all flowed into the soup making it uber oily. =__=

but we had to admit that the meats were pretty tasty. that's about all though. the soup is totally bland. and it's weird they claimed to be smokeless, cuz we left the place smelling smokey and feeling uber oily.

original price of the meal is $39, i definitely wont pay that kind of money for it. dont think i'll go back there again too.

charity drive within the bank organised by the summer interns, $12/angry bird. i think they are made of flour or sugar fondant and supposedly edible.
