went malacca a day after i returned frm hk, juz came back tis evening.

travelling is realli tiring, esp when i hafta come back n catch up on my emails n wat-nots. n dearie kept complaining tat i dump him in sg, go have fun on my own. awww u poor thing~ LOL~

spent S$100 in malacca, on food n hotel. veri fun tho, it's always fun to travel with a clique of close frens. love u ppl! =))

im back in one piece! no.3 typhoon doesnt scare us!

e trip's fine, many hilarious moments when u have crazy travelmates. din get to alotta places tho.

Shenton Way Golden Bridge Roasted Meat Chicken Rice

tis stall is realli located on a bridge in shenton way, e one adjoining SGX and Shenton House. it's a super small place with not much tables, so usually ppl juz packet e food.

i tried their chicken, char siew n roasted meat. roasted meat being e most fabulous, one of e best roasted meat i've ever tasted in my life. realli!

frequented tat stall when i was on my most-hated client. but nw tat im outta tat sucky job alr (phew!), kinda miss e roasted meat.

Amoy St Food Centre Level 2

e fruit juice at one end of amoy level 2 is fantastic!

it's bloody cheap lehz, n gd. tat "house-special" costs oni $1.50! usually wld have cost at least $2 ba.

juz ask for the "4 types" de fruit juice. i rem vividly tasting mango n orange, n perhaps pear n apple or sth. uber yummy lahz. go try!

muffins became e new craze in sg, alongside donuts. tis is one of e best muffins i've tried, beside e fruit juice stall above. not Missy Muffins horz, Missy is overhyped n not tasty at all.

forgot e name of tis stall (Bake Of?), but it has alotta interesting flavours like choc banana (banana inside!), apple cinnamon (apple inside!), oatmeal raisin, etc. unbelievable price of $1 each.

dearie drove me here one early morning long ago, when he happened to need to rent a car. bfast b4 i board my flight to china for audit last nov.

to my dismay, their bak kut teh's herbal taste was too strong for my liking. but e old man thinks otherwise, so i reckon tat it's juz me.

apparently lotsa other ppl find it gd too, tat ulu place had quite abit of patrons while i was there. obviously those ppl fancy ah sio's bak kut teh enough to wake up so early on a sun morn. haa~

Fish Soup @ Maxwell Food Centre

e best fish soup i've ever tasted!

middle stall of e middle row, red signboard. long queue. i always hafta queue at least 20min b4 getting e food lorz.

savoury soup, fresh fish, generous liao, excellent! nv fails to satisfy my palate. muz try!~

Duck Rice @ Tuas Ave 7

tis is a place where laymen will hardly venture into, unless they'r auditors whose client is there.

an ulu hawker centre in e industrial area, visited by all working in e area. its duck rice stall serves generous servings of duck meat n soup, at a preposterous price of $2.50.

e waffle-pancake in e hawker centre is gd too, nv fail as a gd perk-me-up tea break item. hehe~

dont be fooled by its ordinary foodcourt stall appearance, it spans like 3 of e normal foodcourt stalls k. at e corner of e foodcourt.

quite alotta ppl visit e stall de lorz, there, evidence. haha~

boss is a korean auntie, always sitting at e counter.

e chicken bulgogi n fried dumplings are not their best dish, but they taste decent lahz. it's a pity tat their veri delicious potato pancake was not available tat day.

jingsi brot me there for lunch on one of our work days, my client happened to be there so i jio-ed jingsi for lunch.

tom-yum soup. not bad, lotsa liao.

obviously neither of us likes e basil leaves. haha~

pineapple rice. so-so nia~ tastes abit like zhu chao fried rice. their phat thai is much yummier.

e fragrance frm tis pandan chicken assaulted our noses once it settled onto our table. tastes quite wonderful wor, i wld recommend u try tis. hehe~

ah loy is oso famous for another dish, mango chicken. no photos here, but i tink it's as gd as e pandan chicken. can try.

tis dish is my favourite, thai-style baby kai lan!

im not a veggie-lover, but i love tis dish! tink it's e chilli tat makes e dish fantastic, careful as it mite be too spicy for some wor.

tho alr at e tail end of my wk-long flu, tis is e most types of med i received for e wk. costs a whopping $45 in total lorz, gosh.

heng i dont needa pay a single cent, it's covered by PwC. but visits to e doctors' are realli getting pricey nowadays.

as we were pretty amazed by The Silk Road's surprisingly cheap $5 "tasting portion" 甜水面, we ordered 1 to share....

realli is "tasting portion", sharks fin bowl size. -_-

so in e end we ordered 1 "tasting portion" each. tastes okay lorz.

also ordered fermented tofu pork ribs which tasted like shrimp-paste chicken in zhi-char stall, n xiao long bao which are huge but tore once we picked up em.

n e 回锅肉炒饭 was super oily n ordinary.

bro ryan reco me a chillout place called Artery in Red Dot Museum, v quiet place with no blasting music. gd place to catch up with friends n play bridge!

we went bugis for steamboat w/o sissy!! haha~

i din take any photos of e steamboat dinner, but it was pretty gd. we went xian-de-lai 鲜得来. e 辣子鸡 was pretty gd.

then we walked to harry's @ chijmes for some drinks n pool!

lu ordered some 1982 drink or sth, taste like an alright cocktail. ray was drinking listerine on e rocks (LOLOL).

me n my favourite apricot brandy with sprite.

been feeling like playing pool for awhile, mayb since i went batam n old man refused to play pool with me.

it was a relaxing afternoon with e sisterhood @ L'Espresso Goodwood Park Hotel.

high tea with exquisite china n extraordinary girls in stunning dresses~

supposedly e best high tea buffet in Sg, but i tot it was alright. mayb cuz expectations are too high.

it's pretty shiok to be able to order any drinks on e menu for free (part of e buffet charges), however. oh e scones are fantastic too.
