(im flying to cambodia for hols tis evening, be back tis sun!)
found tis at e hotel reception area....
do they seriously tink e angmohs will understand e meaning of 'QING JIANG PUTONGHUA' ??? faintz.
tis is e ugliest xmas tree i've seen. it's balding lorz. i can see thru e tree. -_-
but e santa claus is pretty adorable. hehe~
sg shd realli have winter. then again, it's expensive to hafta always chg wardrobe according to seasons.
my hotel room provides a great view for fireworks viewing. there's like fireworks display almost every other day, usually to celebrate happy occasions like weddings n business openings.
e supermart opposite my hotel, always visit it for munchy tidbits. their tidbits are not bad, at half e price of sg's.layout's abt e same as sg's supermart lorz.
cheapest meal i had in china, 6RMB (S$1.20) for a bowl of beef noodles. 10 xiaolongbaos for 6RMB oso. freaking cheap.
beef noodles taste so-so, but xiaolongbao is pretty gd tho. but not v clean, it's a dilapidated eatery. heng we nv LS ahz.
tats my hooligan-esque team-in-charge, veri slap-worthy. LOL~
buffet bfast at santeh hotel every morning is a game of luck. when e chef is happy, he will gimme my scrambled eggs e way i want it...
but! most of e time, i get crappy scrambled eggs...
dry, overcooked n veri messed up scrambled eggs. bah~
but bfast is quite decent lahz, much better than my prev taipei hotel's bfast for sure.
client treated us to a farewell lunch last fri at tis posh (again) restaurant.
they served us WARM papaya n corn juice. gosh~

qian loves crabs!
set off for shanghai airport e nx day as early as 730am on a sat. on e car arranged by client, quite comfy.
rem i mentioned tat i hafta take e ferry to cross e yangtze river frm nantong to shanghai?? those are e ferries.
those ferries can take quite abit of vehicles (cars, buses, lorries) on it. lined neatly, hand brake applied.
tats e yangtze river lorz, soooooo vast i cant see land at all. n it's juz a RIVER. our sg river muz have seemed like a drain to em. hahaha~
20min ferry ride. quite an interesting experience. prob a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
shanghai int'l airport! e departure hall is a totally different feel frm their arrival hall lorz. arrival is v shabby n disorganised, but departure is damn decent.
took e flight alone, n had abt 2hrs to rot by myself in shanghai airport. oso a rare experience.

e place of many serious audit discussions n witty banters. oh but then again, it's always a different 师傅 n a different car.
view frm e car along e way. roads are uber wide in china, since they can absolutely afford e land. traffic is lawless, however, but 师傅s are all veri skilled drivers.
in my humble (n possibly ignorant) opinion, nantong is an ulu small but rich city. well, at least my client is definitely a profitable company.
cuz they chg their elevators' carpet everyday, according to e days of e wk. abit bo liao, in my pt of view. but tats e cheena way of bragging opulence.
n they have tis LCD screen at their entrance, displaying slogans n welcome msges.
n nth but labour. hordes of ppl in khaki overalls dwell in e canteen during lunchtime.
n i've nv been to such a spacious audit room b4, complete with sofa somemore. we've nv sat on e sofa b4 tho.
n they'r quite obsessed with their own logo too, juz like PwC Sg. haha~
e audit room faces their staff living quarters, which is quite like our HDB flats.
e above is juz half of e bldg where e finance office is located.
their canteen for e higher ranking staff, where we had lunch everyday. look abit like NTU hall canteen horz?
it's cai fan as everyday lunch. plates of dishes all decked out, u take ur pick. okay lahz, food is much much better than i expected.
but my fav wld be tis! hairy crab!!! love it man! hoho~
老上海 restaurant opposite our hotel. e place looks quite posh but we oni spend 103RMB (S$20) in total for dinner lorz. ultra cheap.
BUT. once we placed our food order, e whole street kena blackout. candle light dinner. -_-
honestly i cant rem e names of e dishes, but they r all delicious!
there's real crabs inside tis seafood tomato soup lehz, unlike in sg where they oni have crabsticks. haha~
i love e fried buns!
tats 重庆火锅, excellent for winter. half 麻辣 half 鸡汤, but most of e time we juz dig into e 麻辣 half. nice~
dinner at KFC! their menu is a lil different frm ours.
client treated us to dinner again, cuz e mgr is here for review.
e restaurant is v posh. tis time round tink e food costs alot more than all those tat u've eaten previously.
tats e whole audit team + deputy finance mgr + finance supervisor.
golden tofu n lamb slices.
tis is e oni disgusting dish throughout e nite. supposed to be some seashell thingy 黄泥螺, raw de. cold dish.
see e gooey black thing? u'r NOT supposed to eat it, tats e dirty shit part. i unwittingly ate it. stinks like mad, gross. bah~
tis sesame chicken has some funky name which i forgot. cold dish oso. tasty~
frog cooked in some spicy chilli oil style + 沸腾鱼 (fish cooked in spicy oil). all oil lahz, but wonderously yummy! hehe~
dennis e mgr aka bdae boy eating his customary 长寿面 (which is actually 担担面 in disguise, haha).
singing bdae song for e bdae boy.
cut cake... e 服务员 brot us a watermelon knife lorz. n we tot jeremy look super murderous with e watermelon knife. LOL~
we bot e fruit cake frm our hotel n brot it there lorz. e cake is nth but cream. duhz. -_-
take photo.. tats e whole cosco nantong team + jeremy's gf.
still dont tink me n my mgr look alike lehz. look like mehz? oh but i dont mind looking cute. hahaha~
oh look, nantong's version of 'The Curse of the Golden Flower 满城尽带黄金甲'. found it outside e 沸腾百度 club beside e restaurant. LOLOL~
