we ordered half roast duck n half seafood. seafood was so-so but e roast duck half was pretty awesome, tastes like peking duck. we like! hee~

e taiwan groupies were at the Singapore Fireworks Festival!

zen reco us tis v gd place to view e fireworks, e vast grass patch behind One Marina Boulevard. despite e large amt of ppl there (see e heads behind us), we still got a comfortable spot!

e great thing abt watching fireworks is tat u dont hafta worry e ppl in front will block ur view! hee~

anyways, we waited till 920pm b4 e fireworks started. it lasted abt 10min tho.

e fireworks are mostly gold n pink lehz, machiam like chinese new yr. haha~

there's like 2 obvious 'explosion pt' in e show, e fireworks mostly blossomed frm there. which i dint realli like lehz. predictable~

but huh, i suck in taking night portrait lorz. all too dark neh. if use flash im afraid tat e fireworks wont stand out lehz. aiyo~

in e end, these 2 are e best shots frm my lumix...

more smoke than glittery sparkles. air pollution lehz, e top part of swissotel was completely immersed in smoke lorz. tsk tsk~

shd have tried using flash! then e above picture wld have been purrfect. bah~

Carpark fire in Jurong West

The fire alarm in a multi-storey carpark on Jurong West St 64 went off at about 2am on 20 Aug 2007. Sounds of explosion due to the combustion of fuel were repeatedly heard thereafter.

First to start burning was the right-most wing of the 2nd storey, but the destructive claws of fire began spreading rapidly.

Car-owners whose vehicles were still far frm e blaze quickly dashed to rescue their vehicles, but those unfortunate souls whose vehicles were already perishing in the flames can only curse and mourn.

Fire engines and law enforcers arrived about 20minutes later, when billows of thick ominous smoke were already emanating profusely from the annihilation.

Flames were efficaciously vanquished within minutes, leaving behind a whole storey of darkness in the afflicted area and restored serenity in the aroused neighbourhood.

A troop of approximately 8 firefighters equipped with high-beam torchlights then entered into the scene of carnage and its surrounding territory for further inspection to ensure that safety is fully reinstated.

It is then that the pool of onlookers who had been observing the action began to disperse and retire for the night.

The massive smoke from e fire had caused a portion of the newly-painted carpark exterior to turn charcoal.

Ditto for the ceiling of the 2nd storey, which was absolutely smeared black by the raging flames.

Eye-witness, Miss Chan, disclosed that this is the 2nd time within 7 years that she has witnessed a fire from her window. The 1st time was at one of the factory behind the burning carpark.

It is reported that 16 motorcycles and 3 automobiles were destroyed in this fateful event.

The cause of fire is still not known, but the fire is said to have started from a motorcycle.

omg, i had like 2 bbq sessions over e national day wkend! fattening wor~

bbq in celebration of e sisterhood!

profuse thx to dor for booking e bbq pits, preparing e food, starting fire, n everything!

eh but we helped out with e food oso k.

im like e professional chicken wings crucifier, lijun is like e ultimate corn slayer, n ting... is e crucifier's love. wahahaha~

tis bbq is realli small scale, for all members in e sisterhood (= 6pax).

but i enjoyed myself tons! cosy lil fun bbq~~

oh n food was realli gd! dor's great mum prepared most of e food using her formidable secret recipe! *yums*

oh gosh, kj looked realli sensual~~~ ooohhhh~~ LoL~

it was then tat i realised how much i love bbq-ed marshmallow. omg it tastes so soooooo fantastic!~

n i cant help but kept grilling e marshies!

ting was my accomplice, tink both of us ate like half e pack of marshmallows. e loves grow fat tog!~ hehe~

super heart e plot, pretty much deviates frm e usual romantic chick flicks in e mkt these days.

juz read on a forum tat jay chou took part in writing e script lehz, sure bohz? im alr quite dubious abt whether he truly directed e movie on his own lorz.

anyways, e poser delivered e movie well. his usual nostalgic retro setting. omg i seriously have a thing for retro-mama. LoL~

but huh, abit turned off by jay's act cute antics at e beginning of e movie. posers are not supposed to act cute!! duhz~

kwai lun mei horz, not e classic beauty, but is v charming n attractive in her unique way. she's like e queen of flirtation in e movie lorz.
