qian bought a fantastic maybelline blemish corrector in US last yr at oni USD5.99. wanted to buy a new one as e current one is depleting, but they dont sell it in sg...

tats when i came across e website of a drugstore tat i've visited in new york, where i bought tat concealer n some other fabulously cheap but reputably-branded cosmetics.

gosh, i still rem e root beer i bot there. which doesnt taste tat gd n which got spilled all over me. an obsession for root beer was developed by qian when she was in US, fyi.

anyways, walgreens' website is soooo impressive!!~

they have a health library, encycloped-ing all u need to noe abt diseases n their symptons, calculators for u to determine ur BMI, enquire abt e functions of specific drugs, etc.

walgreens health corner television series! airs weekly! gosh~

even more cool, they have an email reminder service! to remind u b4 ur meds run out! plus, u can update med history with walgreens!

walgreens also sells a huge variety of cosmetics too, which all cost less than USD15. im super wow-ed by their sweet gesture of classifying their cosmetics by brands, price, colour... n even by ingredients n product size! awesome!~

call me a mountain tortoise, but im dead sure watson's doesnt do tat for their sporean customers lorz.

it's so inconceivable tat me n yul nv realli took any photos of n with ah cai gor gor throughout our bangkok trip, except for these..

e cousin byo-ing if his chauffeur had arrived to fetch us to somboon for dinner. outside chatuchak.

e financial director of a thai mining co at e passenger seat in his company car with his 130km/h driver, bringing us to patpong.

see how lovely they were? i did my fingernails yul did her toenails. n it's bloody cheap, manicure/pedicure + nailart oni 400B!~

n their speed was amazing. my manicure + nailart was completed in 30mins. it'll take double tat time in sg lorz. n e paint lasted for 2wks!~ hoho~

then we went to tis v posh foodcourt in MBK for lunch..

The Fifth Food Avenue - unbelivably posh for a foodcourt, they even have a platform for band performance.

tats wat we ordered, but oni e tom yum goong n green curry is acceptable. e minced chicken sucks madly, and e fried popiah thingy tastes like fried flour. bah~

n tat bloody meal costs a bomb! gosh~

i wldnt reco ppl to visit tat place, can find much better food with 400B. bleahz~

we decided to go to e other MBK foodcourt for some yummy iced milk tea as compensation for e bad food in Fifth...

love the milk teas in thai (tink they'r called cha yen), soooo nice! they taste diff frm e teh bing in sg lorz, MUCH nicer~~

awww i miss thai cha yen!

then we hopped over to siam discovery centre which was juz opp MBK..

nth much lahz, juz a small shopping centre.

then to e highlight of e day..

newly opened siam paragon! look how big it is! 9 storeys of luxury!~

it's v posh inside e paragon departmental store lorz. n i din noe loreal paris is uppity enough to have a counter. haha~

exquisite, pretty, n cheap! we bot 4 slices of cake for 30B oni lorz. hoho~

n they oso have breadtalk there! but nv go in n see lahz.

siam paragon houses tis aquarium which is like our underwater world i suppose...

by then we did not have enough bahts remaining, so we din go in. oni took photos outside juz to fulfil our desire to visit it. haha~

actually i kinda regret not gg pratunam wholesale mkt lehz. shd spend lesser time in e shopping centres n visit pratunam. but a thai colleague juz told me pratunam is not gd, siam sq is better. hmm~

heard pratunam is e new MBK, same things but cheaper. n it's mkt-style, i like. nx time, nx time.

as mentioned b4, it's bhumibol's 60th yr in reign n the thais still love him lots. made me wonder how much sporeans love our ctry's leaders. hehz~

there were alotta sporeans at e airport, n tis grp of sporean students approached me, "eh we'r all sporeans, so let's help each other take grp photo". LoL~

#1 PwC kindly forced me to remaining 1 day of time-off-in-lieu. it's amazing how much overtime i've accumulated despite my v slack audit days.

#2 watched ocean's 13 yester! not bad, still pretty wow-ed by their ingenuity n tickled by their humour. most imptly, there's eye candies! muahahaha~

#3 finally tasted korean spicy fried rice cake. total disappointment. i dont like how 'Q' it is. but e kimchi fried rice n korean potato pancake was great! thx jingsi for e excellent reco! it's e korean stall at Le Meridien food court btw, cheap! oh crap, i forgot to snap a photo of e food! -_-

#4 specially made a trip to BBDC to get my Provisional Driving Licence done. now im ready to hit e roads (with e 'L' plate, of cuz) ! n tat will explain where all my bonus is gg to go to. haiz~

#5 had my hair done todae! cut + color + treatment = $140 at sandstorm. my usual hairdresser left, he din even wait for me to get famous lorz. dont realli like my new hairdresser, he over-cut my fringe. color's too dark for my liking too. ming xing hair no more. bah~

#6 wanted to do e pink streak like e veriiii pretty Avril Lavigne, but decided against e notion as e tot of gg to my audit clients n lala-ing "hey! hey! you! you! i dont e way ur accounts are done!" aint v appealing. LoL~

#7 Maroon 5's latest hit, Makes Me Wonder, is such a retro disco track, i feel like mambo-ing whenever i listen to it. so different frm their previous album lorz.

#8 managed to catch a few of The Ellen DeGeneres Show on/off recently (b4 sissy fell in love with her) n picked up one of my fav lines by Ellen: "I give my money to Charity too. She's my assistant." LoL~

#9 spotted 2 veri shuai guys in chinatown last fri. shuai, metro n seemingly sporean guys. n positively gay. tats it, time to give up e search for a shuai straight sporean male to seduce. which leads me to e nx pt.

#10 i kinda love my current carefree life now. slack-ly employed, no affectionate woes, immensely loved by frens n family. so much so tat i presently realli dont wish to chg it. physicists have their own intepretation of inertia, i have mine.

UNLESS! it's my ever-gorgeous chun baby! but com'on, it's harder than doing e 'plow' position in my sat yoga class. so, juz forget it. inertia.
