caught it e day after it officially opens! we were like in a mad rush to book e tickets in order to get gd seats lorz, u have no idea how crazy movie-goers in sg are nowadays. seats get filled up w/in split seconds! gosh~

if u look carefully at jack sparrow's costume, u'll notice tat there's alotta intricate designs woven into e whole image. how great it looks!~

did i ever mention how much i love johnny depp?? love his acting versatility: edward scissorshand, willy wonka, jack sparrow. oni he can make these characters come alive!

okay it was quite paisey to take tat photo in e crowded plaza sing. then again, tat is juz so... me. haha~

e restaurant wasnt v piratey, but well, e seafood came frm e sea. -_-

quite nice lahz, e food. kinda better than fish&co.

oh after e movie we went for prata at kellock road there...

tis choc-banana prata looks lovely, but it's diabetes-causing. damnnnnnnn sweet, buey tahan~ nx time shd juz order choc prata.

half gang of auditors getting ready to party after a saturday yoga class. gosh, my legs are still aching lorz. bleahz~

while waiting for e other half of e gang to arrive, we immersed ourselves in tourist-ish mood...

azabu sabo hokkaido green tea ice cream again! i love e 1st photo. me n ting took a similar photo at tat same place yrs ago, when we still look like fugly pigs. haha~

ma maison @ Central!

we queued for an hr lorz, but savaged our meal in less than an hr. nx time i'll make bookings b4 we go okayyy.

tis ma maison branch is vv small, but cosy. nice decor too.

e seafood rice platter was super seafood-ish with lotsa real seafood, e pork cutlet thingy tastes quite well with their special sauce. but e intimidating black squid pasta juz tastes like hawker centre zhu chao. -_-

i personally love e omelette beef rice e most. wanna go back n try their other dishes!

oh, e ma maison servers will give u a ma maison key to foot e bill with! interesting~

nv b4 did i eat so much cakes on my bdae lorz, 6 pieces of ultimate sinful choc/strawberry cakes from Nectarie @ The Cannery. heng they'r not bad at all~

gosh, tink i hang out too much with fellow auditors man. tis was another gang of lovely auditors, frm PwC~ haha~

my fellow colleagues doing audit at NEA gave me a pleasant surprise!

awfully choc cake wor. tho e cake aint taste realli tat fantastic lahz but it's e tot tat counts! hee~

my mgr oso treated e whole NEA audit team to lunch at Nanbantei far east plaza...

i ordered their yakitori bento n it was delicious. love e asparagus wrapped with bacon yakitori!

it's indon-thai food at bali thai novena square!

e complimentary fish thingy was fantastic, prawn was exotically great, e chicken dish was yummy, best tasting veggie baby kai lan, spicy tom yum soup with lotsa liao!

my chinese doc's medicinal skills is so gd, i recovered frm a bad cough within a day n it din come back to haunt me after e lethal chendol ice tat i've eaten! muahahaha~

then the sistas trooped down to starbucks for some chilling...


plus some arty-farty photo-whoring. i took those, cool huh? hehe~

(my bloody blogger's finally working again! yays! almost wanted to give up n chg to a new provider lorz. alot of posts lined up! hoho~)

soooo fast!!~ exactly tis day last yr i boarded thai air TG790 n flew 20hrs to AMERICA!!~ awwww~

miss it, miss it, miss it!!

went to e morey's piers website and saw e activities they have tis yr, it's roughly e same as last yr. brought back so much memories!

grabbed some postcards off their site...

i rem i sent some ppl a similar postcard last yr while i was there. wonder if those ppl still kept it. hmmm~

e ferris wheel driver told me it's a difficult ride to operate. have to take into account wind speed n inertia, blahblah. usually oni supervisors can drive e ferris wheel.

e above postcard looks almost identical to e one i took on my own camera!! (taken frm my master skyride)

n i've been using tat photo as my wallpaper nowadays. it's constantly reminding me to tink of e happier moments when im in a dull mood. haha~

tat scream 'n swing horz... zen kept saying she wanna ask eli to get her a free ride on tat, but in e end oso nv lehz. it doesnt look fun anyways, great white looks much better.

n tats my fav great white. it's an old-fashioned wooden roller coaster btw. extreme fun n exhilaration to ride in n be attendant of.

it gets stuck quite often tho, n when it does get stuck e attendants are kinda happy cuz we get to take a breather. it's damn tiring to work as attendant at e great white, always go home with aching bodies.

oh i rem sth! me n pato used to have lapbar races at e GW, but pato usually wins. haha. "let me do it, let me do it!"

e inverter, zen's main ride. it's e 2nd most popular ride in Adventure Pier, but i din realli like it. mayb cuz i dont like to be turned upside down. haha~

americans pronounced inverter in a funny way, like in-vurr-durr. for those angmohs to understand us, we hafta americanise our eng u noe. LoL~

sunny seagull! u noe how americans like to have mascots for everything?? sunny seagull's morey's piers mascot lorz.

we took photo with sunny seagull b4 wor...

i rem chasing sunny seagull to e employees' chging room to see which poor fellow colleague was inside it. hehe~

zoom phloom is such a fun ride...

but we oni discovered tis ride on our last day in morey's. -_-

u noe they used to have a similar ride like tat in haw par villa?? this is soooo much more fun than tat one in haw par villa lorz. e zoom phloom operator is quite cute too. hee~

ahhh... tats Adventure Pier during dusk. dusk takes place at 830pm there n its sky colour is diff frm dusk in sg (i feel).

my jrs have juz arrived at morey's now. they oso chose to go morey's cuz they tot it sounded realli fun frm wat i told em. hehe~ soooo envious of em, i oso wanna go!! boo~

one fine work-less saturday, qian n qing trooped down to the newest shopping mall in lion city to check it out.

e 2 lovely girls decided to queue 30min for tis japanese restaurant called Waraku on Level 3 as they heard gd reviews of it frm their friends...

but qian is kinda shocked by e puny serving of e leaf-barbecued beef thingy. e 4 pieces of beef n a shitake mushroom costs $13 excluding gst n it does not come along with rice! fortunately, e beef tastes fine.

qing ordered curry katsu udon which tastes... fine too. her udon's serving is more humane tho.

qian n qing oso ordered tis potato-cheese salmon mentai thingy, which tastes e best among all 3 dishes, in qian's opinion.

e girls found a long queue outside tis hokkaido ice cream stall n decided to join in. $4 for a super huge scoop on cone!

qing ordered a green tea & vanilla swirl which was yummy enough. n qian chose green tea & red bean cone which was SUPERCALIFRAGILISTICEXPIALIDOCIOUS-LY yummy!

n with tat, qian n qing ended their day on a gleeful note!~ =))
