oh my, my blog's daily hits reached an all-time high yester after i published e compo post. realli so great ahz, tat post? haha~

i've alwayz wondered who are e ppl who reads my blog, cuz e amt of daily hits e site receives regularly is more than e no. of ppl whom i can recall reads my blog. which means there r some other ppl who reads my blog w/o me knowing.

not tat i hate ppl reading my blog w/o my knowledge, i mean, it's a public site which is accessible to anyone afterall. juz curious lahz. so, those "unidentified" ppl pls say hi?? haha~

anywayz, thank u for ur loyal support, no matter u frequent tis site cuz u love e blog-owner truly madly deeply, or cuz u find e blog-owner so ultra crappy tat it's entertaining, or tat u hate e blog-owner with such intensity tat u wanna sneer at every silly thing she blogged abt.

i shall blog more to reward my loyal blog readers eh. akan datang, lots more stuffs coming up. there's soooo much to tell but im so drained now, "worked" 16hrs todae lorz. tty again ba~ =)

Picture Sequence - An Accident

Peals of laughter wafted into my ear. I turned to face the origin of the noise. Two adolescents of age six or seven were having fun tossing the ball to each other by the side of the bustling road.

"Hey! Pass the ball to me!" Wee Meng hollered to his playmate, Yong Chun.

Wee Meng was an articulate boy with an inquisitive nature. His lanky figure was formed by his unhealthy preference for tidbits and dislike of vegetables. His slick dark hair was neatly combed to the side with his mother's help. Wee Meng's small round face was wrought with a snub nose, tiny brown eyes and dozens of freckles.

Coincidentally, Yong Chun resembled Wee Meng physically. At first I was still wondering if they were twins. Yong Chun seemed to be of the same age as Wee Meng. However, the liliputian Yong Chun had huge black eyes which glinted when he saw Wee Meng’s new toy.

The boys’ joyous laughter cheered me up while I was waiting impatiently for my bus at a nearby bus-stop. The boys’ mothers were standing a distance from the boys, exchanging the latest gossips in the neighbourhood. These two gossip-mongers were so absorbed in other people’s businesses that they were totally oblivious of what their precious boys were doing.

“My ball!” Wee Meng cried, as his new ball bounced over onto the road.

“I’ll get it.” Yong Chun offered, since he was the one who accidentally threw the ball to the road.

“No! I’ll get it!” the headstrong Wee Meng ran towards the road before Yong Chun could lift a finger.

Wee Meng gave Yong Chun a smug look after he had picked up his ball. But little did he realise the imminent danger. A crimson Toyota sped from afar. The driver obviously had no intentions to slow down upon seeing Wee Meng rooted precariously in the middle of the road.

I watched the rest of the happenings with immense apprehension. Wee Meng’s frail figure was flung into the atmosphere by the impact of the collision and landed some few metres away, powerless and defeated.

did i mention b4 tat i was very gd at english composition writing when i was in sec 4?? my english english teacher (he's frm UK) gave me 18 out of 20 for e above picture sequence short story lorz. muahahahaha~

i was so proud of those compositions tat i still kept my compo book till now. every now n then when im packing my room i'll take em out n marvel at myself. LoLoL~

for those who tink my english sucks, i scored an A2 for my english 'O' levels okayy... not oni potatoes do well in english horz. hehz~

but after tat in jc i got C5 for my GP lahz. -_- aiya im oni gd at story-writing, those serious assertion-substantion shitty essay i cannot make it lahz. haha~

Running out of blog ideas

Work is uninteresting, nothing that I would wanna blog about. Even if I do blog abt it, not many ppl will understand wat im talking about anywayz. Too much little-known professional jargon.

Tho most auditors have been complaining to me abt how much work sucks, im not there yet. Mayb cuz e real shit haven’t came to me.

Cuz im still having on-the-job training, I get to knock off at 530 or even earlier everyday. Guess im heng oso lahz. in fact, im typing tis while my seniors are toiling away. They keep having nothing for me to do.

The gd thing abt audit, in my opinion, is having to move frm client to client. I meet diff ppl all the time, go to diff places, learn abt diff industries. Hopefully at e end of 1 yr I’ve dabbled in almost every industry.

It’s interesting to visit diff clients, to work in the offices of those various big brands we’ve always heard so much abt. But im not allowed to reveal stuffs abt those clients cuz of, oh well, professional ethics.

Managers have told us of instances when junior associates were sacked cuz e PwC partner overheard him/her discussing stuffs abt e clients in the elevator. oh yeah.

Alright, enough abt my job. I'm kinda sick of answering qns like, "howz work?" so try not to ask e same qn e nx time u see me eh? thx n byee~~

i heart lumix!

i wanna announce to e whole world: I LOVE MY NEW LUMIX!!~ LoL~

been wanting to buy it, but always procrastinating. then on mon i finally bought it! hohoho~

used it yester to take photos of e various yumyums i ate..

tats e dim sum in crystal jade kitchen. chang fen with prawns is nice but abit cold, fried chestnut cake is quite okay but v jer lat after awhile, delicious har gao, average ice tea.

mango pudding reco by wqing. not bad at all.

crystal jade realli nv fail to impress me all e time sia. anybody noes e son/grandson of crystal jade's boss?? haha~

then i head over to tcc for some attractive desserts..

in e mood to splurge

yester i spent $80 w/in an hr while shopping briefly wif e gang of auditors, bought 3 items for myself! so happy!

walked past john little n saw tat they were having sale, n bought e za true white essence face mask.

wqing's been telling me it's a much better face masks than all others, but im alwayz unwilling to try it due to its price. used to be $29.90 for 5 sheets, but yester cuz of e multiple sale i oni paid $20! hohohoho~

oso saw this new loreal mascara, looks real cool lehz..

e design is quite special horz? tho sissy wld beg to differ, but e gang of auditors found similarities betw e above mascara n tis.

hor hor?? look like lorz!

anywayz, tat new pdt has almost e same features as maybelline xxl. double brush, one for volume one for length. e oni diff is tat e loreal one has a more pro brush, shaped like a comb for smoother brushing or sth.

but i still bought xxl instead, cuz it's guaranteed gd. n since loreal & maybelline both belong to e same parent co, i figured both mascara works identically. so mite as well go for e cheaper xxl, $19.90 as compared to $26.90 (plus 15% discount!).

then e auditors head to taka, where i bought a ring for myself from mintmark & co. all e while i tot mintmark is an expensive brand, but in fact their stuffs are pretty affordable. tink e brand's frm nyc cuz there's a photo of rockefeller bldg in e store.

see, such posh packaging right? gen was saying nx time can buy as bdae present for ppl, looks v ex but actually is not. haha~

i have a fetish for rings lahz, n had been feeling lost ever since i gave pato my old ring n rendered myself ring-less.

price $39 - 925 sterling silver plus diamantes. alright mahz, right?

but ppl say wearing rings will kill tao hua, cuz it's mostly a sign of non-singlehood. so muz be selective when wearing rings oso. hehe~

okay somehow both my digicam n hp cam cant capture e ring properly, n i cant find a photo of it at mintmark & co's website. time to buy a new digicam. hoho~

but somehow horz, e ring looks more gorgeous when i was tryin it out at e store lehz. hmmm~

logo obsession

day 1 of my training, i received this "goodie bag" with all e stationery inside. pens, pencil, highliter, hole puncher, stapler, correction tape, scotch tape.

n they're all branded stuffs (well i tink pilot is definitely branded as compared to red leaf, n post-it is not cheap) wif PricewaterhouseCoopers printed on em. i was again impressed by e $$ dumped into imprinting my co logo on every single pen/highliters/pencils.

there's also e pwc logos on lanyards n audit bags n kit-kat (yes, im not kidding). super kua zhang. tink someone up there is obsessed with e co logo lahz. haha~

i weighed my audit barang juz now, laptop + cables + stationery = 5kg!! friggin heavy lahz, n i hafta lug tat stupid boulder of shit to my various clients' office. wth~

tmr's my 1st day on an official job which will last 2 wks, hope i don get too much shit. then again, if i dont get shit im not an auditor. hehz~

i wanna date an idol!

a famous n popular idol. it'll be such an experience lahz, i wan i wan! haha~

e good...

juz when his fans are dying to juz catch a glimpse of him, i get to gaze at his handsome demeanour up close n personal throughout e date/s. hoho~

as a popular idol, he's cfm earning big bucks. so he can afford to splurge his big bucks on me. muahahaha~

idols are nv boring cuz they lead such colourful lives. my idol date cld share his interesting encounters in showbiz with me, including insights into e latest celebrity gossips!

if he acts, i cld rehearse his script wif him. how romantic is tat, like idol drama lidat sia. wahahaha~

if he sings, he cld croon a touching ballad for me.

if he's also a songwriter, he cld write a wonderful love song for me.

when hearing teen gals gushing over him on e streets, i cld secretly secretly showoff "i am dating him!"

e bad...

we hafta go on dates secretly to avoid e paparazzis, which means we cant watch movies in cinemas n go hawker centre for meals.

there mite be paparazzis following me around while i shop in orchard road.

i'll face pressure frm e public n media, they'll say im not worthy of him or sth like tat.

e tabloid papers will start to predict how long our relationship will last.

hot idols are gorgeous n they noe it, of cuz. there's a possiblity tat i'll slap my idol date for looking into e mirror more frequently than i look into e mirror.

i alwayz tink tat idols are narcissistic, cuz of e tons of ppl who admire them. e idol will most prob love himself much more than anyone else.

n when i had enough of all e pressure n his narcissism, i'll DUMP him. how cool isit to dump a popular idol?!?! damnnnnnn cool lahz! LoL~

dont mind me, im juz gg crazy cooping up at home e whole wkend cuz all my dates are cancelled. bah~

glitz & glamour

once i walked into e ballroom, e amt of $$ my company threw into its DnD impressed me instantaneously.

see how spectacular e stage was? n how grand e ballroom was?? there's even small fireworks on e stage after e opening dance by e partners lorz. rich rich rich~

and e food..

fried yam flooded with prawns, shark's fin soup with generous amt of shark's fin (n they don taste like jello!), delicious chestnut paste with rice balls n tons of lotus seeds. yum! possibly e nicest 8-course banquet i've eaten in recent yrs.

oh n alcohol is free flow! my DnD table drank free beer, red/white wine n whisky lorz. so shiok lahz, no wonder there were so many pukers outside e ballroom after e event ended.

n as part of e DnD programme, there's PwC Idol competition..

realli like e real Idol competition lorz, they even filmed e ppl thru auditions n things like tat. super pro lahz.

oh tat uncle is my counselling partner, one of e contestants tat nite. personally i tink his performance was e best, therefore i was pretty baffled by his defeat.

daphne khoo was e celebrity judge for PwC Idol. wonder how much she makes from juz sitting there n singing one song. they even got her to go PwC bldg to film some bo liao PwC Idol judges clip.

juz when we were all wondering why we werent assigned any lucky draw numbers..

e lucky draw was computerised, using our staff ID. gosh~

imagine e 10th prize was a samsung home theatre sys lorz. tat will prob be e top prize of a NTU hall DnD, if e DnD biz mag is so capable.

1st prize was a S$3,000 travel voucher. nope, i din win anything. hehz~

oh but i do love my company more after e DnD, cuz now i noe they'r earning big bucks n cld gimme a fat bonus. hoho~

i tell u, e ladies in my company are realli all high in quality. serious!

hor hor? some of em mite not be photogenic, but they'r undoubtedly e top 20% in my run tat nite lahz.

once nana arrived at e ballroom, i went "nana! ur dress is e same as mine!"

exactly e same design lahz, my gosh. forgot to ask her how much was hers. mine was a cheap deal frm e states (SGD32 oni). hoho~

n yes, i wore e same dress as zenith (NBS Ball). bleahz~

e 10 of us fit into e round ballroom table nicely. venue's at raffles city convention centre by e way.

who else? me n e same old siao cha bor lorz, with a weird xtra finger. haha~

after DnD ended, i went equinox!

it was my 1st time there, nice place. not as ex as i tot, cover charge $22 w one free standard drink. actually it's kinda dumb to go there n drink, cuz we get free flow at e ballroom. hehz~

we went new asia bar to take a look n then went down to city space to enjoy e live band. quite like e feel in new asia bar n love city space's ambience.

tats e equinox restaurant i tink, love e posh deco. n it's realli extravagant dining, heard it costs abt $100/pax for a meal. no wonder there's so much angmohs there, angmohs dig n can afford fine dining.

while waiting for e valet to retrieve e kai sister's car, tis angmoh passer-by said to e kai sis "u looked soooo beautiful, u ought to get married tonight".

then e angmoh went on to ask, "hey do u know where's ming bar?". all of us din have e slightest idea where tat bar is (i've nv ever heard of it b4), but e kai sis juz anyhow anyhow point him a direction. winner. LoL~

n the farnie encounter wif e angmoh concluded our glitz & glamour nite! haha~

training officially ended!

i enjoyed myself for e past 2 weeks n 2 days!

e 1st 2 weeks were classroom training with 3 days of simulation, the last 2 days were computer-based trainings. e CBTs were damn bo liao, all of us juz ended up xchg-ing answers to e quizzes.

training @ pwc is virtually e same as having tutorials @ ntu, cuz my run (aka training batch) consists of 90% NTU acc graduates class of 2006 n content of training is e same as e NTU audit module.

oh well, training got soooo boring tat i decided to be a paparazzi n secretly snapped photos of my ultra pretty trainer..

actually there's alotta pretty gals in pwc lorz, i conclude. juz throw a stone haphazardly n chances are u'll hit an at least above average gal. a plethora of gd choices for guyz, intense competition for gals. LoL~
