And the end marks a new beginning.

The final lap has begun.

Oh wow... I have decided not to release this struggling fish into the large open sea we call cyberspace. Instead, i have decided to continue the torture which people call blogging.

First of all, I would like talk about the Faire Marcher 2006 held at MJC from tuesday till today. I must say, the IGC has really put a lot of effort into it. The explanations provided for the games were clear(for MOST), the environment was conducive for playing leisurely(with music in the background) and the occasional lucky draws to hype up the gamers. With totally-unheard-of games like Carcasonne, Settlers of Catan, BANG! and Blokus, it was definitely interesting. Of course, there is always the easy way of play(chairs and table), while more peace-loving creatures would play with the rules. Once again, due to my total underestimation of the competition that would be present, I decided to participate in the competition. Got trashed in the 1st round, fighting back in the 2nd round. It was very sad actually. Almost all the games I tried on the 2nd day were not games available in the 1st round of the competition. That was totally screwed up. Gave up in the end.

More to come soon. There are many things i wish to say, but sadly I do not have the time nor the energy to continue typing. My fingers feel so fat and heavy it feels like a ton of bricks to even move it. Tomorrow it shall be. But then again, I might decide to release this fish into the sea. We shall see.

Nil Sine Labore. Never forget this. (how ironic... saying this when I'm currently slacking...)

collection of certain quotes by some people.

"aiyoh... armstrong club ah. arm strong... got head strong or not."

"stupid people say they are smart. but smart people say they are smart. so does that mean, everybody=smart=stupid?"

the classic quote: "This is rubbish. What are you waiting for?"

wow.

friday was a rather eventful day. first, i will start of with a quote by dr. rahman as people attempted to stop him from getting up the bus to go for friday prayers.

"If you stop me, you are stopping god."

ok... next was the incident with SBS 1710D. seriously ah... i think many people were pissed off by the driver. now is a blow-by-blow account of wat happened. as usual, it was road-race day, so we waited for bus 58 for like 20 mins before one came. so as usual, many people were trying to squeeze up the bus. suddenly, the driver stopped anybody else from getting up. half of the people were still left at the bus stop by the way. as he stopped at the end of the bus stop, the bus moved to the front of the bus stop so as to not obstruct other buses. then suddenly the bus opened its doors, but NOT to let people get up. the bus driver then told the rest tt the bus broke down. BUT it did not ask the passengers on board to get off. then happily the bus driver got off, made a few phone calls, then got up the bus then DROVE OFF. like wth lah... leaving half the number of people looking at the bus in shock, in anger and in watever negative emotion u can put. of course, people remember the bus number well, which was SBS 1710D. lets see how SBStransit will reply to my feedback. the driver lied, did unresonable things and forced the coomuters to wait another painstaking 15 mins for another bus. i would like to say thanks to him for wasting our time.

next up, was road race. nothing much, except that it was a gigantic waste of time. though i did manage to know how well i can run long distance... after that, had a birthday celebration for vincent wang suikai aka wang loke tat. gave him a toad for his present lol. haha.... very funny... must be there then funny.

ok... then had exco meeting at tampines mall at the open plaza at the top floor. discussed something which is highly confidential. heehee. in the process, got high and got freaked out by the shadows and numerous weird noises. but the meeting was productive, i must say. shall end off with another quote.

"if i kill you, you will die."

Hey pple! finally decided to give up on my new blog skin after a million years. im just too lazy to create a new one from scratch. alamak... i think im like the last to update myblog or something lah... anyway, HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR!!!!!!! same goes to all non-chinese. everybody should get into the festive mood. tts wat racial unity is about isnt it. anyway, here are the photos of the long ago lake trip with me and don. sadly, it was one of the last times when the lake was open. surrently, there is some construction work going on, so its only accessible on sundays when the foreign workers dont do anything and head down to their gathering places, eg. golden mile of the thais, orchard for the filipinos, little india for the indians, kampong glam for the malays, changi for the... oh nv mind. anyway, here are the photos!

a nice sunflower at reservoir b4 we headed to the lake.

an assassin bug(according to donovan)

some insect egg nest.

seriously, this lake is just so tranquil and calm.

don peeling apart some insect chrysalis.

spot the moth! no prizes though.

nice sunset. me and don.

same people, different pose.

the moon?! at 5pm. wow.

sunset is the most beautiful thing.
