Michael's First Haircut

Well, Michael has just been racking up the 'firsts' lately!

Today we got his haircut for the first time! Now, Kaylee was almost 2 before she needed a haircut, and even then, she didn't have ALOT of hair.

Well, not Michael, he NEEDED one- bad!

He did a great job sitting all by himself in the chair. . . of course the cookie and sippy cup helped with that too!

I guess its getting official. . . my little baby is quickly becoming a little boy!

Michael's First Christmas

What a Christmas it was at the Purvis house this year!! Michael's first Christmas was quite exciting! Unlike his sister's first, where she slept through everything, he was wide awake, walking and into EVERYTHING!! It was such a blast to watch him really enjoy and take in everything! I think the funniest thing to me was that Michael wanted whatever toy Kaylee had and vica versa. It was so funny. They did enjoy playing together with the toys too though, which was so sweet!
Christmas morning was just us and the kids playing non stop for almost 3 hours with their santa toys. Kaylee's big gift from Santa was a scooter that she'd been begging for, and Michael got the "handy manny tool box with all the tools' from Santa. It was so fun to see them playing together!!

Christmas afternon Chris's family came over to have christmas and eat dinner with us. It was quite fun!

Here is a glimpse into what Christmas day was like around here!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

Here's what Santa Left!

Let Christmas begin! !

Well, Christmas has begun! Tonight we had Christmas with my side of the family and it was quite fun with 3 little ones under the age of 3 running around my house! It was alot of good food and SO much fun! The kids had a ton of fun.

Kaylee got a bowling game from MeMe and papa that was a huge hit with all the kids! The kids had fun spreading the toys out all over the house and playing together. Christmas is just SO much fun!!! Here are a few of my favorite pictures from tonight.

11 months. . ..

Where has the time gone? I can't believe that in 30 days, my little baby boy will be a year old. It seems only yesterday I was huge, pregnant and anxiously awaiting my second miracle child, and then today, I sit here watching him walk around our house, pull ornaments off the tree and destroy my clean house. I'm in awe that it has been 11 months since he entered my arms. . . and in total shock that I only have one month left with a 'baby'. *sigh*
Where DOES the time go?

Scuba Santa!

Today was so much fun!! We have had annual passes all year to the GA Aquarium, and this month they have a 'scuba santa' who dives in and swims with the fishes!

Kaylee and Michael both love watching the fish but today it was a special treat to see Santa in there too!

Here are a few pictures from our trip.

Santa Claus is coming to town. . . .

Kaylee has always enjoyed seeing Santa. I mean she was never one to be afraid of him or cry, but this year especially she has really Looooved Santa. She fully understands that Santa brings gifts- good ones! And she recognizes him wherever we go, the real Santa or a picture. Its so much fun!

This year we are doing 'the elf on the shelf' and its been so much fun! Our Elf's name is Marcus and I'm telling you- Kaylee ADORES Marcus! Its so cute!! She talks to him every day, and can't wait to find his new hiding spot! Here is a picture of Marcus.

We recently went to Stone Mountain Christmas and the kids really loved it! We had never been before, but man I recommend it! The lights are amazing! We didn't get to see all the shows they have there, but the kids just really enjoyed seeing the lights, riding the train and of course visiting Santa! Kaylee also really loved the Snow Fairy who came and made it snow on everyone before we left. That was pretty cool, I have to admit myself!

Here are a few pictures of our trip to Stone Mountain..

Michael's first trip to see Santa was pretty awesome. He didn't cry or anything, but did give us a few 'who is this guy' look. Thankfully he didn't pull Santa's beard or hair. Here are some pictures of Michael and Kaylee with Santa and I love the one at the end of Kaylee telling Santa what she wanted!

Kaylee said that Santa is going to bring her a "big girl scooter and helment' and other 'big girl toys' and that he should bring michael 'baby toys cause he's not a big boy yet'. I'm telling you- this year is so much fun!! I absolutly love watching Christmas through a child's eyes!

So what is Santa bringing you???

Kaylee's first sleep over!

Well- Kaylee had her first sleep over at a friends last night. She had a BLAST! She didn't have any problems being away from home and from the pictures the mom took, it looks like all the girls had a super time.

I can't believe my little girl is so grown up- but at the same time, it is so much fun to see her enjoy so many new things.
