Comte De Monte Cristo

Here rests the thoughts of an immortal, making of what the world hath thrown at him.

"My dear count," cried Morcerf, "you are at fault--you, one of the most formidable logicians I know--and you must see it clearly proved that instead of being an egotist, you are a philanthropist. Ah, you call yourself Oriental, a Levantine, Maltese, Indian, Chinese; your family name is Monte Cristo; Sinbad the Sailor is your baptismal appellation, and yet the first day you set foot in Paris you instinctively display the greatest virtue, or rather the chief defect, of us eccentric Parisians,--that is, you assume the vices you have not, and conceal the virtues you possess."

Étude No.8 in E Op.10 No.3

To my dear Albert,

Happy birthday. By the time you read this, I will most likely not be by your side. So, hear me out instead of receiving a present. Albert, listen. Don't ever hate anyone. You know, I think both hate and love stem from how deeply we care for someone. Sadly, enough there are times where our feelings may not reach the person and our love turns to hate. In times like those, I want you to remember our childhood, when no matter how badly we were hurt, we could only continue to love. Please continue to live on without hate. I was truly happy knowing you.

200th post! I lied....

This is post number 200 Wow! So many posts of meaningless snippets of my life, how wonderful. At least when I look back, I think I can remember the past. I lied about uploading photos because 1) I formated my Laptop, 2) Im really lazy to upload them so those who want to take a look at them go to my facebook and look at the photo album, there wont be 100 pictures there but there are about 20-30 pictures of some significant places I have been to.

2008 is here, and I don't even feel 2007 was gone, soon I will be 21. How time flies, I still remember the days I spent in Australia, the days I spent in Taiwan, the time I spent in Japan when the Sakura blooms. Well memories always come back to haunt us.

Liang Court is having some renovations and wow, how the place has changed. I don't even see anybody there anymore except shopping at the supermarket downstairs. The food is downstairs is average but can do better, I guess the price is reflective of the rents as well. The other day I was at IMM and had Pepper Lunch with some of my classmates, wasn't worth the money I guess because 1) There is too much Pepper (ok it kinda defeats the purpose if there wasn't pepper but they just overkilled my rice) 2) The serving isnt very big either but only acceptable. These two events means, I still haunt Vivocity, until I find somewhere convenient and quieter to haunt then I will move~!

Exams soon next week and one more the week after and poly ends. Its a semi-sweet thing. Sweet because there is no more school, not so sweet because I still have piano exams and end of poly also means NS is going to start. And im not so enthusiastic about the latter.
