Uploaded by one of ex colleagues in FB..

The bed crunch in CGH is quite bad...and I was been deployed to another ward which was a holding area for patients . Lots of adjustments needed, facing your new colleagues , facing female patients that I didnt nurse for very very long. The max patients we can take is only 12 patients instead of my original ward, 44 patients, I felt a sense of relieved seriously. At least, for the first time I can breathe while working.

Nurses seriously provides a damn holistic care to patients and relatives. Alot of times, I feel like I'm working as a maid instead of a nurse.

happy V day 2012

2 years ago.....

while on the way to pick me , u met an accident...An unforgettable V day which brought me tears and pain to u instead of laughter and happiness.

1 year ago, we didnt celebrate V day. Deep inside us was the unforgettable incident that happened on our first year..

This year, dee said must have a good and romantic meal on V day.

Loved the outdoor atmosphere, food wise so so only. Very ex, but coz it's on the Vday, it's kind of expected.

DNR pls. too many active recuss recently already.

I know it would be quite shocking to say this is my first night doing incharge, after working for afew months already, well, but that is the fact.

1st night was crazy... not even a hour after passing report, one patient was passing out large amount bloody clots, lumpy stools or whatever u called it, BP drop, he turned pale etc.. E trolley was pushed to standby. Fluid challenge for straight four hours, inserted CVP line in the ward and then was transferred to HD at about 5am. I pity the SN who is incharge , luckily not me..I pity the on call also, seriously.

For the whole night, BMU kept calling to book beds. Admission non stop but on call was so busy with that crtically ill patient, delayed in clerking new cases.. No choice but to ask his HO and other MO for help.

12am,2am,4am,7am anitbiotcs..whole night keep diluting antibiotics,writing report,admitting case, and more....

2nd night was rather peaceful, except that admission is something which i cant escape..hate it when admission is towards the morning 6am ..

Outing with colleagues and sister :)

CNY outing - kbox and dinner at teo heng from 730pm to 1am. I went off around 11plus as I am AM shift the next day.

Sending off SSN Sue and her husband to Paris .. She is no longer in wd 44 :(, when she comes back, she will be NC in another ward. Sister Candice leaving us soon also...haiz...

Before heading to airport, 2xinyi bought me 2 charms. I chose myself.. soooo happy !!!

sentosa flower 2012

An yearly event for Dee and I. So, here we are, at sentosa flower 2012. Let the pictures do the talking.

Had coffee at Pacific coffee place at vivo . Loved this place, u can choose to chill indoor or outdoor, for me, I perferred outdoor. They have big and comfortable sofa, which u would like to sit on it for the whole day.

Dee had been studying so shard recently, jia you dee dee !!!! A few months more and u can enjoy your long long holiday after that. For your future, our future, I know u can do it ok, u r my smart boy. Life had been good with u, u made my life complete. 3 years already, we had been together for 3 years, we had been through alot, especially you, who suffered alot , worried alot but let's put all those unhappiness aside ok? Don't look back, our future will be a good one? Let's jia you together, and always remember, when no matter what happens, we still have each other , supporting each other always ok? love u :)

English High tea

Still love English hi tea the best, although not full plus it's ex but really enjoyed moments like these, when i can spent afew hours talking to my partner while enjoying some cakes, scones and coffee or tea. Although buffet hi tea was much more worth it, but i dont really like the "full" feeling as will tend to eat more then what i can and feel bloated after that.

It;s been a long long time since I last met Sofina na na... Still missing those times working in ward 18 while I was still a student and she is a super nice sn there.

Had our dinner at tanglin mall, nearly got ourselves lost as both of us didnt know how to walk from town to tanglin but luckily, she called her dad and asked for directions .

Fair or not?

Night shift on 31st and 1st of Jan, counting down in the ward. how cool is that?

I worked on every single PH, only took my damn 5 days of AL, which I supposed to have 14days. Who can I claim from? seriously...My sister just said there's nothing that she can do, no money will be given to us too, means what? simply means that the remaining days of my AL are kena eaten up. No more say. that's it. case closed, full stop.

One of my colleague,doesn't even have one AL, just coz he didn't request in the request book? means what? it means that she doesn't even care about us, if we never request, she won't even give a damn. ok, that's fine. what about me? I requested about 11days, thinking that i can bring forward afew days to next year, and she only gave me that damn 5 days only. I really pity him seriously. And the super little bonus, not attractive at all. damn damn damn !!! If money can exchange my AL, i will keep my mouth shut but NO. seriously damn it !!!

Forget it la, wanna to confirm my AL slot also cannot confirm YET. how to buy ticket u tell me?

Mentally stress out and tired, all I wish for is to have another few more days of break, my AL, why can't I have it?

Cake-less 22nd :) My age may be old, but I m still young at heart.

Had 2 early birthday celebrations with my two besties on different dates as both of them were not free to meet on the same day.

This year 22nd birthday's theme is go Cake-less . I think cakes are just too boring, every year birthday, every year eat birthday cake, so I came out with this idea, to go cakeless for my 22nd birthday. As I was passing by B1 at bugis junction, saw this strudel shop which made me thought of buying it to be my birthday "cake ''. Going cake-less

In love with Macarons so decided to buy from Canele and let it be my birthday ''cake''. Damn sweetttttt....I'm a person who has sweet tooth n love to eat the sweetest food in the world , however the sweetness of Macaron is something that I can't take it. The max i can eat is only four.

My friends find that going cakeless is weird, but I just love going cakeless..something unique , something different.

Xmas party 2011 and presents

As usual,every year xmas party was held at Dee's auntie's penthouse. Xmas eve was AM shift, xmas was PM shift. After my AM shift on the eve, headed down to raffles city to get some last min gifts before heading to dee's auntie's house. Food was great, traditional varieties of xmas food. Shiok :) but was feeling damn tired , slept on the sofa till nearly 12midnight when everyone start wishing each other merry xmas n exchanging presents

Been using the army phone for more than a year, time to change a phone. Never thought of having an iphone, actually a simple phone which has functions such as msg, call and camera is enough for me,if not i wun be using the army phone for so long. hahaha.. Presents bought by dee and parents and myself. thank very very much :)

Xmas exchange between twin sisters and Aishah. This is from tan xinyi. she chose me. Thanks sister, love this hand lotion very much..it's rose scented. I love everything that is rose ok? even the Macarons,love the rose flavor best.
