Perseverance is the hard work you do after you get tired of doing the hard work you already did. ~Newt Gingrich

When I was stressed awhile back, this Mario picture never fail to make me laugh. I miss playing Mario! Wish I could eat a Super Mushroom as a substitute for coffee whenever I pull an all-nighter. I hate the negative side effects coffee has on me.
And I better get the letter sent out by next week if I want it to reach Shanghai before Christmas. I got Esther's letter in mid-October and it's almost December now. Owe her a reply big time haha. (:
I haven't been blogging lately now that I'm a Year 3 Food Science student. 8 core modules, 2 electives, 7 major projects, weekly lab reports and tutorials, and presentations every other week. When I was a wee junior in Year 1 and 2, I only pulled all-nighters when it was close to the end of the semester where all the datelines clash. Now, it is week 4 and I'm already sleeping 2 hours on some nights.
Even my mom was like, "You won't be able to finish everything anyway. Just go sleep already!"
There you go. That's how lousy my semester is. 16 weeks till I kiss NYP goodbye. (I know I'm always saying how I want to graduate ASAP, but really, I'm going to be sad about it. Nowadays, I'd feel nostalgic about graduating next May.)

Woon Ching and her brother shared a new digicam. To be more precise, it's a mirrorless interchangeable lens camera (MILC). There used to be only compact digital cameras and digital single-lens reflex cameras (DSLRs). I'm sure people must have complained about the limitations of digicams and wished for convenient digicams with the quality of DSLRs (I'm one of them). Remember the basics of economics? When there is demand, there will be supply. So came about MILC! It's a relatively new trend, still somewhat unstable. But I do hope to see more MILCs in the market.
I need one for my travel trips. So Canon, please please please develop a MILC. I swear by Canon and I want a Canon MILC so freaking bad!

Zombified. I slept two hours each the last two nights. Woon Ching went: "Stay in that pose. I'm going to test all the camera modes on you." LOL. Some turned out nice. The 'pinhole' effect was a common favourite with WC, Wan Wen and I.

You know what happens when someone tells you not to smile? You just end up grinning even more widely—like a Cheshire cat, in fact. Hence, we covered our mouths. WC found it adorable and snapped right away.
OK, toodles!
