Dad's company was one of the sponsors for the local film, 12 Lotus.
Ahem, so free tickets lor :x
I must be getting good at controlling my emotions!
I used to cry buckets while watching sad movies.
Pretty embarrassing ;D
12 Lotus is a pretty depressing show.
It revolves around a girl who never had luck with men.
Every guy in her life used and dump her.
I could hear the whole cinema sniffing away.
I pitied her lah, just that no tears.
LOL.
My mom wanted to go shopping at Orchard after that.
She always has a hard time finding clothes of her liking.
I really want to try the Bakerzin cafe at Wisma Atria!
The chocolate cakes & large variety of macaroons make me drool! :D
It's so hard to find people with same tastes as me.
Spend money & enjoy the finer things in life :)

Cried a bit last night.
I was pissed with myself for being immature.
& partly because i was lacking sleep.
I only slept 3 hours the day before.
Lack of sleep gives me severe mood swings..
It's scary.
Becuase i was crying & thinking of all the negative stuff -.-
Let me a little childish for awhile more :}
I'm not an irresponsible person, afterall.
I know what to do.
Another random thought.
My mom walked into my room & heard "Crank Dat by Soulja Boy".
She was like,"What song is that? o.o"
Lol.
But hey, she likes "Beat it by Fall Out Boy".
Hahaha :D

Argh pissed off now.
One of my mom's boss offered me a job at their law firm.
Mainly packing & labelling files of law cases.
I can work any time i want & the pay is good.
Here's the catch:
I'm not interested.
& she called me lazy.
I know I'M LAZY.
She practically rubbed it into my face.
& said all her colleagues asking her what i intend to do for my month-long holiday.
I'm not stupid.
They probably get the biased impression that teenagers work during holidays.
& those who don't are lazy parasite singles.
WHATEVER.
Am i not entitled to some leisure during the holidays?
I spent 2 terms of late nights because i've 3 reports a week and a whole of tutorials.
I just want to have fun before the new semester.
Maybe i'm over-sensitive.
But sometimes i get really hurt when people say some things unintentionally..

1 more paper to go!
Then it will be 6 weeks of holiday!
Screw exams.
They always cause my stress levels to go up.
And pimples start popping out.
And eyebags become twice as dark 'cos i burn midnight oil.
Microbiology is my best paper so far.
I kept smiling while doing it.
Pretty satisfied with all my answers :D
I'm really lucky in exams, somehow.
Whatever i didn't study doesn't come out at all.
Ok, most of the time lah.
Let's just hope POE will be fine -.-

But i'm so damn happy.
I feel so touched now.
I'm missed & remembered.
It just feels so great.
I had such a great MSN conversation last night.
It started out with Rachel & Yingxue.
My darling & nehneh :)
Talked about a couple of stuff. Heh.
& then..
We added ALL the NegimaNeko guild members into the conversation.
We ended up spamming so much lame stuff!
Fun!!
'Cos we all have the same sense of humour.
Can tahan lame jokes, can tahan dirty jokes :D
Can clique well. LOL.
It's been months since i laughed so much.

Well, no.
But i'm considering going back to maple.
I know Rachel's gonna be playing.
But i can't decide if i want to go back to Delphinus.
Most of the guildmates are inactive.

I think the server's suffocating me.
Most people there know me 'cos DkPanda (my ex) was famous there.
Now that there's nothing between us, i feel so weird in Delp lah.
Lol.

We went back to Riverside Sec to get our SGC.
I don't like the school now.
So thank God i graduated already.
Bumped into some old teachers like Mdm Matthews, Liao lao shi, Ms Christine etc.
Unfortunately they happened to be dining at Delifrance at Causeway Point so no chance to talk to them.
We met Liao lao shi at the General Office.
She only taught Esther before, not me.
But she still recognized me & told us to work hard :D
Gives me a warm feeling nia.

Been doing nothing but maths since Thursday.

the exam bombed me with bombastic questions.
Then again, tests ALWAYS do.
I've never come out of an exam hall feeling great.

I was talking with Leonard (maple guildmate last time) last night.
He told me he was a boys' school & that he felt awkward when talking to girls.
The topic became about women instead.
He said he had a girl friend who talked to him about her "cramps" and grossed him out.
Made me laugh :D
That girl has to learn that,
there're some things guys aren't interested to know about, whether you're his friend or gf.
Let's just say i read articles about communication occasionally ;)

Spend 3 hours at AMK McDonald's 'cos Raymond left for work & SH, home.

I'm just so sleepy during the day & wide awake at night now -.-
Spent the rest of the time chit-chatting with WC.
Met Ms Marlene on the train to Toa Payoh!
She asked how things are going & etc.
& mentioned there'd be a class outing to Sentosa during the Sept holidays.
Hope more people will attend this time :)
I partnered WC's last week partner.
WC wasn't joking when she said the partner treated her like a guy.
Her moves are so fast and strong.
The back of my head hit the floor before my back did!
Must have hit more than 20 times in that 1 hour..
At least it felt real.
During training, we just focus on the moves.
It's the first time i'd such a partner.
But it feels like some sort of real life exposure.
Partnering her really trains up my reflexes.
About 3 hours since the session,
but my head still feels weird.
Kena banged too many times.
Urgh.
Anyway, i think i finally got the hand of forward rolling!
Will be practicing aikido moves with WC at Sentosa during holidays.
I will practice rolling at the sands there.
I can't practice at home when there's tiles -.-
Sensei & one of the black belts are always so patient with me when they have to teach rolling. Touched :)

Was supposed to come to the library early to study.
But we ended up watching Olympics.
'Cos the library cafe has a TV tuned to Ch.5 & Channel Newsasia.
Woon Ching was telling Shihui & i about how FLABBY swimmers are.
When they shake their arms or thighs a little, it goes wobble wobble.
"Fats to keep them warm."
Rofl.
I was grumpy today when i was woken up at 8am.
No choice. If nobody drags me out of bed, i'll go ahead and sleep for 12 hours straight.
My parents don't buy me lunch on weekends anymore.
They know i will wake between 3-4pm :D
Even my sleeping time has shifted to 2am. Or later.
Anyway..
I fell asleep in the library cafe for 30mins!
Just too sleepy :3
Felt so much better after that nap.
Carbonated fruit juice.
My parents told me they saw this adult drinking (beer) with his/her parents.
& they jokingly told me to learn how to drink so that i can drink with them.
I told them, anything but beer.
Just don't like beer ._.

Cows are irresistably fun to bully!

Who would have the Yakult factory was so near to my house? -_-
I know for a fact Kailing stays at those blue-windowed flats.
First thing was a presentation about the live cultures.
Lactobacillus casei Shirota strain & Bifidobacterium breve something.
We were all given a bottle of Yakult to drink :D
& then a video..
Showing us the actions of the bacteria, NK cells battling cancer cells etc etc.
The guide (what do i call him?) took a drop of Yakult, placed it on a glass slide, placed it under the microscope under 5000x magnification and voila..
Tumbling rods across the screen ._.
The tumbling reminds me of Listeria monocytogenes at 25 degrees.. Nvm.
Afterwards we were brought around the factory.
See where the cultures were fermented. The packaging. Etc.
They even make their own bottles.
There were these large tubes that blow the bottles up to some storage container.
Amazing :D
They sold us packaged Yakult cheaper than those in supermarkets.
Like, $2.50 for the mixed one.
$1 for the original one.
Most of us bought one or two home.
For the fun of it. Lalala.

We tried the Unagi pepper rice.
I felt so broke.
I had exactly $12 and the meal cost me $11.80.
It was delicious though.
Pepper lunch is one of my favourite places to eat at.
I played with my food and ham said i was being a 2/6er.

I feel like a jerk for always not going out with my old kakis..
Met Shihui at Toa Payoh MRT at 11am.
Woon Ching & Alex were late so we headed to NTUC first.
Bought some instant noodles for our lunch.
Alex helped us to boil the water while we girls watched the olympics.

Went to school library at 9am with Woon Ching.
She did her PhChem revision questions while i settled maths.
About 11.30am dabao pies from the cafe & went to meet Shihui.
I felt so kuku while walking in the library.
'Cos 2 girls wearing red & white walking together looks so weird.
Like 2 identical flags beside each other.
So wrong la.
Lol.
Free lunch was provided at the auditorium prior to the performance.
The drink tasted so much like sour plum juice..
Leftovers (not mine!)
The gang mixed it up and joked about feeding it to Raymond.
Stupid cow came late :O
There was a huge insect on the wall.
Fiza trapped it with an empty cup :D
Woon Ching saves the day! :D

Not another one of my good days.
That's all right..
I can take things with a pinch of salt :)
& i'm officially single now.
Broke up today while i was in school.
I just can't stand the thought of meeting him.
Especially when we both know the relationship is ending soon.
It just sucks.
Some things aren't just meant to work out in life.
So yea.
Things'll be much better for us this way.
Mr Ong was telling us about this casino in Mexico that has features to perform pyrotechnic effects every 30mins.
Mr Ong: What if a bird happened to be resting there and then the fire comes out?

I'm not that bothered about the few relationship problems around me.
There'll always be people walking into and out of my life.
I'll just accept that things have come to an end & move on with life.
I've bigger things to worry about.
I've many more goals to accomplish.
I swore i would lead a meaningful life.
Enough emo-ing :D
POE lecture was ok.
Loves Fiza for the ferrero rocher!
She saved Woon Ching & i from starving to death.
Both of us worked the whole morning, clearing report & presentation.
Both of us didn't eat breakfast, only drank water.
Both of us only washed up & brushed teeth etc at 11.30am!
BEAT THAT!

& lecture was at 12.05pm ok!
Presentation turned out really goooood.
Everyone had scripts this time ;)
Sometimes i wonder why i'm not studying medicine.
'Cos i can memorise names of diseases and illness well.
Had prata sausage (from the event at the atrium).
So yummy :D

Rotted at one of LT-Q benches with WC till 5.45pm.
We did the POE tutorials. Which was surprisingly easy.
But VERY irritating.
Keep repeating the steps and get the same answers -.-
Aaaaand.. the south centeen jap food store auntie is always nice to me :O
I wonder why.
Even the north canteen fruit juice auntie joked with me.
I'm not a regular also leh :x

On the bus, we were comparing the amt of exams we have.

His friend: 4
Woon Ching & i: 6 (not including elective)
Life science really win hands down..
NO LIFE AT ALL.
As usual, i wished for NO ROLLING.
Sooo happy no rolling once again!
'Cos i roll like a crocodile. Lol.
& i breezed through the various techniques.
My partner's good.
She reminded me to straighten my arm when i cut her hand downwards for irimi nage.
And for shiho nage, the proper landing leg position (not both legs flat down).
Sensei saw that i was hesitant to pull my partner's hand down for shiho nage.
'Cos i scared of breaking their arm x.x
He just told me to pull it.
'Cos they're black belts, they can handle themself.
As long as i don't kill them.
Made me laugh :D
I'm turning in early.
Very tired now.
Going school at 9am to study with Woon Ching

The start of the lazy week.
Last week was so crazy, rushing projects till the wee hours.
And today i actually went home at 11.30am.
Who would have thought Food Culture's textbook could be so entertaining?
There was a page talking about Polynesian's cultures.
"Fat is sexy".
AHAHA :D
Maybe it's funny because it contrasts the typical weight issue.
What anorexia, bulimia, bingeing..
& then you've people who thinks skinny is ugly and suay.

Need to sleep on straw mats.

My parents told me about the 12-year old kid who committed suicide in AMK.
I bet the poor kid was mentally tortured by the mother.
The kid had stopped schooling for 2 years.
He had to beg for money.
When people gave him food, he said it's his mother who needs the money.
YOU KNOW WHAT?
The mother had the audacy to dress up like nothing's wrong with their family.
If you'd never seen the son, you'd think she's some modern mama -_-
You're telling me the kid had to beg because the family is poor?
What bull.
The mother didn't allow him to interact with other children.
Even his neighbours thought he was a girl because he didn't cut his hair for 2 years.
I'm guessing she starved him and made him beg for money and food.
& maybe hurled hurting remarks like "useless", "good for nothing", "burden" at him.
He's like her marionette.
When i saw his photo, he really looked like the quiet and gentle sort of boy.
No wonder he was pushed to his limits..
People like him can't handle pressure well, i guess.
I may be wrong. I'm no psychiatrist or psychologist.
But some things can be deduced by actions.
I really pity the kid.
He didn't deserve such a childhood.
I wish there was more that could be done to help him.
But i sorta knew even psychologists have their limits as well.
Why didn't anyone notice the signs and contact the social welfare earlier?
Why wait until tragedy occurs?

So i'm happy i scored 141 for such a detailed test.
I previously scored in the 140 range for another less detailed quiz.
This test allows me to know where i stand as a potential psychologist.

An old friend of mine told me Chungyi cuts off and censored a lot of parts of the original manga -.-

my dad was so happy!
I'm not implying he's an ahpek who likes Chinatown or anything.
More like.. You can find things there nowhere else does.
THINGS I BOUGHT TODAY:
1. Black strap/Silver glitter suspenders
2. Hot pink strip (serves as scarf/belt etc)
3. 2 pairs of slippers
4. Detective Conan movie DVD
First we went to the newly renovated People's Park Complex.

I saw a couple of bling bling shops.
So not Chinatown, right?
Those watches are so BLING your eyes can hurt trying to tell the time -.-"
I kinda like the lime green bling watch lor.
Just that, bling isn't my style :)
Another shop was selling super girly cosmetics.
There were these wand-like things.
It's very sweet pink, with a huge flat puffball in the center,
& decorated with ribbons/polka dots..
I think it's suppose to be a make-up tool lah,
but it looks really nice as a prop too.
The shop where i bought my suspenders & hot pink strip from sells mainly accessories.
And very unique ones too.
I saw so many nice clutch bags there.
They even have ties with elastic bands instead of the usual knot thing.
So that you can just strap it on immediately.
I didn't buy that one.
It was just a plain tie.
My black with gold stones one is way nicer!
Also bought 2 new slippers.
Very very nice slippers.
Hohoho.
So many nice stuff at that small building lor.
Went over to another building.
Forgot what's the name.
But there was this shop selling lots of CHEAP VCDs/DVDs.
Eh, they aren't illegal.
Probably parallel-imported or mass reproduced with license.
I bought this!
Too bad only have 1.
There's suppose to be 11 movies for this anime only.
Amazing eh?
There was also a box of DVDs with 9 movies inside.
I didn't buy it 'cos..
The subtitles are in CHINESE.

The Thai butter cakes are seriously good.
$2 for 12 small pieces.
Got strawberry/blueberry/banana/chocolate/kaya/orange.
I like eating them so much :D
My parents suddenly felt like eating durian too..
