Dance Spectators

Taylor and Darcy had a hip-hop dance recital the other day. Claire was glued to the action for the whole show. (Which was about 45 minutes) It was quite the production and the girls did GREAT!! I'm always so impressed with their courage to try new things and on top of that..... perform AWESOME! See the video to check out their moves. :)

Sports R Us

Kathrine and I shared a season of volleyball together over the last couple of months. I co-coached her team with a neighbor of mine. It was amazing to see these girls most of whom had never played before, come together and really become a great team by the end of our season. Kathrine did great and I was super proud of her. Darcy played too, but on an opposing team. I have a photo of her and also Kathrine's team mate and good friend Katie B. Check out the video if you have a chance.

Fun for Mom

This video has a little bit of a Mother-Daughter activity I went to with Kathrine and a little bit of Mother's day. The activity was super fun. Kathrine designed a hat for me, about me. She even sacrificed her fingertips and burned about 3 of them with the hot glue gun. I love doing things with her and seeing her creativity come out. I used the song the Young Women sang to all the Mother's in Relief Society on Sunday. When Kathrine explained how the singing went to Chris, it was a little like this, "It went good. I was in the front row, right in front of Mom and she cried her eyes out." Very matter a fact. It's true though, it was beautiful!

I love being a Mom more everyday and I'm proud to identify myself as a 'stay at home Mom.' There isn't anything I'd rather be doing right now in life.

I was thankful to spend the last 2 weeks with my Mom and my sister, who is a new Mom, and my sister-in-law who is a Mom-to-be. :)

Life of Leisure

Ward Luau

Last weekend was our ward Luau. It was a lot of fun! The kids ran all around the lake club and we had Hawaiian Haystacks (one of my childhood favorites!) The girls participated in a hula-hoop contest and the limbo. The adults also did a limbo contest and I was highly impressed with some of their flexibility!!



We were so glad the Briuglio's and the Landrey's (neighbor's of Shana and I) could attend!! I think a good time was had by all.

I wanted to change up the blog a little......so I did. I've been wanting a template that frames the pictures. This one does.... enough said.

Does anyone else dislike what humid weather does to hair?

My sister and her little one, Sophie are here along with my brother, James and his newly pregnant wife, Malinda. This is probably the most concentrated amount of time we've spent together since I was married.
