Starting Somewhere

Here we are mid-November and I'm way behind on the blog. But I have decided I need to spend time each day doing the things that are important to me if I'm going to survive this period of sleep deprivation that we have going. One of those things is this blog. I've learned I just need to start somewhere. So I'm starting with last week and working backwards.

I forced the family outside for a little winter walk so I could get some pretties to make this wreath! We had a Relief Society Super Saturday this last month and learned how to make these. I was so excited to see how it turned out just from what I could find in our 20-minute Sabbath nature walk.

I love that we have this place all to ourselves much of the time, and these kids can be the first ones to make a mark in the snow! We walked up to the lodge to put away a couple things. These two made snow angels and "tripped"up the road. They didn't complain the whole way and then we attempted to sled back down.

Cdc's favorite homeschool activity lately is using shapes to make pictures, and he wants me to take a picture of every single creation. I have him draw on paper what he makes most of the time.

Daddy has gotten pretty good at doing this little girl's hair! Put that braid together with that nightgown and I think she looks like a little pioneer girl.

I'm grateful for answers to prayer, and the fact that I've learned to be persistent in prayer. I lost these keys on Halloween and they finally showed up 17 days later.

I'm also grateful for the opportunity to do homeschool with these two. They are so full of joy and keep me going on these sleep-deprived days.
