End of June

To finish off the month we went to Pmc's annual work party up in Kamas. Pmc brought his rocket launcher to double what we had last year, which the kids all had a blast with. Arc liked to ride her rocket more than blast it off.

Pmc and his cousins/siblings did a little remake of a cabin photo at Grammie and Boba's house during dessert night.

Leaving the Neighborhood

Our little duplex in Sugar House is the first place in our marriage we've lived longer than 2 years. We've been in this place 3 years, and it's a little hard to leave. There are also 3 other families moving out at the same time as us, so they held a little open house to show us their love. I'm so grateful! It was good to feel like we were part of something.

The O family (SO and I were in Pep Club at Highland together way back when...)
 The W family.
 The P family
The G family
 The R family
The R family - moving to Texas.

 The S family
Great friends from the neighborhood - CO, NB, VS and KR
 ER and LH
 The H family
The E family (well, party of them).

They gave this to us afterwards - pictures of the leadership families in the ward and our house signed by those in who came to the open house.

Cpc turns 6

Even though we had JUST moved, we wanted Cpc to know that he's special and to still get his first friends' birthday party. So the week before the move we delivered invitations and planned a Pirate party at our new house! We figured friends and family would want to come see the place anyway! So we made cupcakes, turned on the sprinkler and hoped for the best.

I think he felt pretty special and really enjoyed getting to have a special birthday party. He was so impressed by the cool gifts he got, and I still feel really guilty that we never got thank-you cards out. I hope those who came will forgive us since we had just moved!

Unfortunately the kids were bored with the sprinkler, but luckily I had bought a bunch of water balloons and one of the dads came back a little early. So I filled water balloons while he let the kids chase him, so they ended up having a great time.
Cpc really enjoyed showing dad all of his cool new stuff the next morning. I think they stayed busy for a few hours this way.

The Big Move and Father's Day

Some how we really didn't get many pictures of the big move. We had so much help and I was so grateful. My cousin who just moved to Provo stopped by to help me pack for an afternoon, the kids were really good at packing, and plenty of people offered to take them while I packed also. The Relief Society from our ward helped clean the house when we got it emptied too, which was a HUGE lifesaver.

When we got up here to our new house with a moving van, we discovered the carpets weren't quite dry, and that the previous family hadn't really cleaned it. So the fact that I didn't have to clean our old house was a big relief, because I'd be cleaning our new house as we moved in.
We sold our table a few days before the move so we were relegated to eating on the floor. The kids thought it was pretty sweet!

These three have the best daddy in the whole world, and they know it!
My mom moved from South Jordan back to our old neighborhood the week before our move. Even so, she let us come for a special Father's Day dinner at her house after our exhausting move on Saturday! We were definitely wiped out!
Our first meal-making time in our new house!

Capitol Reef

We started off June the right way by having a little Cundick Family Reunion in Capitol Reef. Even though we were swarmed by gnats the entire time, it turned out to be quite a fun trip - and just the vacation we needed before heading into our big move.
