December Happenings

I got an idea online to make tables with snow outside. The boys totally dig having picnics outside now! It really makes winter feel more doable.
OH the joy in Arc's face here just gets to me!

We had our annual Christmas party with Pmc's high school friends. So fun!
 More picnicing with Hot Chocolate!
Arc's first curler attempt - didn't last long.
I love the funny places I find Cdc sleeping at the end of quiet time. He likes to be by the heater.
Cpc was happy to talk to Santa Claus this year! He asked for a Christmas tree motel!
Cdc was pretty nervous at first, but then he warmed up! Cdc asked for a 3-sized nutcracker, I love that. Cracks me up. haha, no pun intended!
Arc wouldn't go see Santa, but once he was gone she was more than happy to sit in the sleigh with the boys!
I love these decorations my mom has had since I was little.
I think these three sure are cute/beautiful kids!
More learning Chess from Uncle Se.
 Love this happy girl.
And I think she's adorable when she's sad.
 Christmas morning!!!!!

It took a little while for the kids to comprehend what Santa brought them for Christmas. We are SO EXCITED that he gave us a family trip to Disneyland!
Some may not approve, but we went to Benihana for lunch on Christmas! I thought it was an awesome experience!
Arc was a beautiful Christmas girl!

November Happenings

These two have been working on the music skills, and they passed off a rhythm portion of this book, which has a spot for a picture. So they were THRILLED to get their picture taken and printed to put inside. I love their enthusiasm for learning!
I love when kids are so little that they look like marshmallows when they get their snow gear on. Arc really loved the snow, even though she is unsure about it here!
We love the park, even on cold days. But we miss Cpc while he's at school!
It is really fun to have a little girl. I love the goofy, toothy smile!
Cdc is SO PROUD of being able to write his name!
Cpc loves autumn as much as I do!
Cpc made himself a doctor kit. I think it's time to buy one of those plastic kits!

Cpc wrote a story and made tickets during Sacrament Meeting one week. I saved it to take a picture of, but somewhere in there he decided it wasn't such a good idea and crossed it all out. But I absolutely adore his creativity!
We have a new cousin! Cpc is thrilled!

 After-school snack is fun.
We went to the top of the Snowbird tram with Aunt Ace. It is so beautiful up there!
We are so grateful to have Aunt Ace around, and she has definitely become the favorite Aunt.
Grizzlies game - the boys begged for a picture.
I seriously love being a mom!
 Thanksgiving family Turkey Bowl!

Aunt Ace asked me to be her escort for the temple! She received her mission call to Ecuador and will be leaving in January. Boy does that make us happy and sad at the same time! I loved taking her to the temple, and am grateful she entrusted me with the responsibility of helping her!

Cpc has LOVED this semester of Musical Kindergarten. I am so grateful for it, because it sure has been a fun experience.

Horrible lighting - but this is Arc chowing down on a spinach salad. Who knew all it took was chopping it into small pieces. She ate two full bowls!

October Happenings

We toured the local fire station! I set up a little "pre-school" this fall, and we did it for a couple months before I got a little worn out. Cdc absolutely loved it though and I'm glad we did it because it did create some good bonds between kids in the neighborhood!
Two things here - I love that Cpc sits down to read the comics whenever he finds a newspaper. Also, with our new Samsung phones came an app called "ISIS" which allows us to use our phones to pay at certain places. Lucky for us there are some great deals associated with this app, one of which is $1 sandwich combos and a downtown place called Toasters. They are so tasty, we go and feed the whole family there at least once a week!
We also got to go to Red Butte Gardens this month, it is a really fun place for the kids.
I love seeing my kids experience things I thought were cool when I was little. I love this drinking fountain at Hogle Zoo!
We went to the Halloween events at "This is the Place" park. Cdc LOVES horses!
I Love going to the playground with my kids! I love to play WITH them, and not just watch them. I love to be a mom, and I'm so grateful that I'm fulfilling my lifelong dreams!
Cpc wanted a basket and so he figured out a way to make one!
Happy Halloween. Cpc was a dragon (really good at roaring and breathing fire - he even had me make him a fire breather), Cdc was a yodeler (really good at saying "oh-de-lay-ee-oo"), and Arc was a giraffe!
Cpc wanted to write a note to his teacher - he figured out how to spell it on his own - Ms. Anderson.
Rita's opened here in the valley! Pmc were so excited to take the kids - however, it just isn't quite as good as back east. Not sure why!
I adore these two. Arc really loves AJ.
Pmc was in charge of Halloween in the office. Didn't he do a great job?
Our pumpkins! Arc is in the middle, Cpc on the bottom, Cdc up top and mom and dad somehow didn't carve ours. Not sure why.
Ready to go trick-or-treating. We couldn't help letting Arc switch to the ladybug costume we were given!
Cpc participated in Musical Kindergarten this year. It was so so fun for him, he learned so much, and clearly already has some great musical abilities!
Cpc's first school picture! Isn't he handsome?
