Early August 2018

The early part of August was full of demolition and road works. Provo has been a nightmare with road work everywhere.  Wildfires in California and nearby in Utah filled the air with thick, nasty smoke. There were some happy bits, however, including a belated birthday celebration for Daniel, and an early celebration for Evy. And by far the most exciting thing that happened was booking flights and Airbnbs for a trip to Paris and London with Stephen and Annie in March and April next year (2019).

3 August they began to demolish Allen Hall, a place I hold dear

It comes down faster than it went up

I am so excited about this trip, I can hardly think of anything else

We were now ready to head to Santa Fe to stay with the kiddos while Rob and Anna take Lucy Jane to The George Washington University as she begins her college career. This is all for now.

End of July 2018

The last bit of July included Andy Boynton's wedding reception, a quick visit from the NY Gibbs, and an uneventful Pioneer Day.
