Overall, I would say 2014 has been a pretty good year for me other than for my career.

January 

Head over to JB with Love for a night stay to welcome 2014.
No party, no fireworks or anything, but just each other accompany to countdown to a brand new year. 

Back to SG, first dinner in 2014 with the lovely girls to celebrate Hx's b'day. 

Attended Wee Kiong's wedding - the first wedding invitation card I received.

River Safari with the secondary school girls - part of Wee's belated b'day celebration.
We spent about 2 hours or less in the park, nothing much in there.
Didn't get to take the boat ride as well.

Brunch date with the poly mates for Ivy & Hong Yang's b'day celebration. 


April
It's my favourite month. Hee, cause it's my b'day.
This year celebration was spent in Tokyo with my secondary sch girls.
Anyway, with the 4d3n it was supposed to be BKK trip, but due to the riots etc in BKK, we decided to change the plan to Tokyo, Japan instead. 
Yea, I know its like 4d3n to Tokyo, is very short & with the expensive air tickets not really worth it ah. 
But no regrets! Cause I love the cooling weather there! No no, in fact, I love everything in Japan. I would definitely make a trip there again. But the next time, definitely a longer trip, and to other parts of Japan.

So, me & Elaine flew over later, which is on my b'day itself, while Sw & Wee flew earlier than us to Osaka first before meeting us at Tokyo.

A very surprised b'day cake from the lovely peeps.
I was really surprised & didn't know that they actually prepared a cake for me (cause my b'day was actually 2 wks ago)

Hahaha, cause I sensed there was something, and thought we are celebrating someone else b'day. So was asking Ivy, "someone's bday?" Lol. But she told me, "No ah"

Till they brought the cake out and sang happy bday song for me.
Omg! Thank you so much people. ^^



Mother's day. 
Mum received her very first bouquet of flowers.



Colleagues. And! Very coincidental, Eileen is in the same co as me. Hahaha!


School - Exams are finally over! 
Finally done with my last semester of Uni. Awaiting for results day...

The long awaited Taichung-Taipei trip with ex colleagues!
9d8n Taiwan trip - our very first time travelling together. ^^

Reached Taoyuan airport. 
Our first destination is to Taichung - staying there for 3 nights.

First dinner in Taichung...

Taichung - Fengjia night market...
Its really a shopping paradise there with all the good food.

2nd day - We booked a driver for half a day to drive us around to about 4 places. 
The first stop was to Rainbow Village...




2nd day - Lavender Cottage



2nd day - *Cant remember where is this place.
Anyway, it was raining almost the whole day during our 2nd day outing. 
So basically, we paid for the entrance fee (the most expensive among the 4 attractions that we went on that day) & just stayed in the cafe for coffee. 


2nd day - tried the famous "dong dong yu yuan" recommended by our driver.


2nd day - Carton King




Our last day in Taichung. 
Gardenstay Minsu - This is the room we stayed for 3 nights in Taichung.

Bought our train tickets and head over to Taipei...
5d4n in Taipei - we stayed in Rainbow hotel which was located in Xi Men Ding.

  2nd day in Taipei - Jiu Fen / Shi Fen
Trained to Ruifang station, and from there we booked a taxi to bring us around Jiu Fen / Shi Fen.




I love this mushroom in Jiu Fen! Very yummylicious...

3rd day in Taipei - Dan Shui old street ...


It was scorching hot that day, that our ice-cream melted so fast. Its like within 1 sec after we bought it and held it on our hand. Had a pretty hard time eating it, with the ice-cream keep dripping all over our hands. -.-




Ah Zhong Mian Xian! Very nice! Especially with lots of chilli, was still craving for it even when I am back in SG. Hahaha. 

This milk tea too! Should have bought a few bottles of it back to SG, hee!

Last day in Taiwan...

It was really a fun trip with them! Really enjoyed myself during this trip, nice group of people to travel together with. 
Hopefully, we can have a next overseas trip together soon. ^^

Finally tendered, after months of contemplating.
I would say I like the job scope, but its just the management...
Anyway, the 8 months there, I must say I have really learnt a lot, how to work better, etc.
Sigh ...

First time signing up for a run - Kranji Farm Run 
Lol, ok lah, anyway is a fun run. So me & Sw actually decided to probably just walk throughout? Hahaha.
In fact, it has been longggg since I last exercise, and I never like running too. 
But went ahead to sign up to run together with my secondary sch girls & Love (He wants to join us too. -.-)

Love, bought me the new sports shoes for this run. Lol, no lah, cause I actually told him I want to start exercise & go for jogs.

River Safari again, but this time is with Love






Date at Sentosa - Love, utilised his $100 voucher and bought me to il Lido for lunch. 
Initially he had already made reservation for indoor table. But I suggested taking the outdoor table instead, cause can dine and enjoy the beautiful scenery mah. 
But ... IT was a bad decision lah! Lol! Cause it was scorching hot that day!
And being the stubborn me, still refused to change to indoor seats, despite keep perspiring while enjoying my meal. Unglam max. Lol. 
Thanks Love, for the lunch. Missing the tagliolini with crab!

After which, went over to Trick Eye museum. I actually bought that ticket few months ago, supposedly to go on Love's b'day but it had long queue on that day, so we didnt.



Though you're annoying at times, but I still love you loads! Hahaha!


Christmas Season!
Had an advanced Christmas celebration with the ex colleagues.
We booked an apartment in Somerset.
