hi! late here. hee. Anyway, one week ago, was our ELDDS greatest production success with overwhelming responses from audiences, guests, teachers, p., v.p, students and ex-gessians. ahahaa. GESSELDDS rocksss. realle. Haha. Anyway, Friday, first thing, reported late to school [excused] and sent off early at 11.10am to reach HDB Auditorium by 1pm? Haha ya. Took bus and MRT, and hongheng rushed off to buy his BREADTALK bread again... stepped into the pretty auditorium again and it was still gorgeous. haha. Around 500 seats? high, steep, new, airconditioned, grand, nice lightings with star designs. And then we went to rehearse, mic-test, costumes try on. and worst of all..Wigs. haha. damn. Me Charmaine Xue`er most jia-lat one. lol. Got stupid horrible wigs and friggin makeups. lol. Laugh until cry know, for the first time. Oh anywa, yeah, then always break off for dinner at 5pm, Macdonalds, Chicken Rice, Mos burger. thats all. Limited Choices. BCKSTGE crew buy one, cannot choose. =[ ..hmmm..and too sad over the damn wig. haha!! Okay, first night was really scary, exciting nervous and lotsa lotsa things. Got my grandma costume ready and my hair was the longest to make, curl, straighten, dye, put on wig, gel, spray... aiya. Sick~ lol. hmm...then after STC was our turn, oohh...when the audiences returned from the break, it was....haha. Our turn la. Started the musical, wow, the feeling's so great. Overwhelmed tremendously. Charmaine went out and was totally laughed at, so...haha. I expected mine to be worse. Well, basically cause i was so so so unrecognisable by others, I looked into the mirror and dont' even recognise myself. Scary~ Denver said he doesnt'' want to be my friend after he put on the make up. lol. Lucky for me, I didn't get a stage fright but elina kinda "screwed up" lines and I had to *snap, think!* haha. At the end of the show, it wasss greaaat!!! The entire auditorium stood up and cheered. Wow. Teachers visited us backstage and cried and laughed and talked and talked talked talked. Wassss totally awesome. Miss Lee cried the most. Mr Lee laughed at me the most. Contrasting LEEs. lol. Ya, immediately after the play my first reaction would be "TAKE OFF WIG!! WASH OF MAKE UP! OMG!" haha. and I did!! Lol. Classmates and friends waited on stage for me and we went for supper together. Late- home. hehe. I totally enjoyed the day but there's still tomorrow!
[20th august, Friday, 7.30pm]
Saturday. Went to school. Finished off some pestering experiment, look at photographs, went home, played games and set off to HDB auditorium again. haha. This time we were meeting at 3.45pm, late but no rehearsals. Just self-warming up. Oohhh, the auditorium was quiet and empty. Only James [jeremiahs' gay assistant] and armstrong were sitting amongst the grand chairs, talking and chatting in the midst of 500 other seats. haha. Yup, went down and put my bag backstage then went out again to join the others. Janice Qianwei and I kept on taking pictures and taking pictures and taking more pictures with her polaroid camera. And Elina joined in...then Michael. Lolz. hehehe. So cute, the film got mickey and minnie, winnie the pooh one. Ya, ate dinner from pizzahut, Sponsored by KY, vincent, we ate family meal. Special for 3 of us only la. Then others eat the same things..chicken rice...dots dots. After dinner, went in for makeup, stupid hairdo and costumes again. =], prepared for the next and last segment of the show. well, sad. alittle. not to the max yet. But some cried already. haha. Anyway, ya, same old usual preparation stuff, and the show began. We sweared to make the 2nd night as good as the first nite. Tickets were actually more more more popular than friday night. Friday night about 450? Then Saturday was TOTAL FULL HOUSE. 2-3pm the tickets were all sold out. Basically cause the teachers and viewers all went back to publicise and all of them booked immediately. NO Regrets. It was really great! Hehe, equally perfect performance the second night. Only that we got more emotional and tensed. Friday was more relaxed. Yeah. And when the finale came, got people say "ah ma rockss." ERRRRR....OHKAY.... haha. me and xiaoxuan was the terrible one, come out then "charlene...charlene...charlenee..." *whisperings*, or "xiaoxuan! xiaoxuan, xiaoxuan..." *whisperings* (again). haha. can't help but *diao!* haah. Wth man. Charmaine was easily recognisable by her accent. Mr Lee actually called me quit study and go into acting for comedies. lol. Back to finale, we danced our souls out, sang so loudly and energy level was maxxx. Director sooo touched. haha. Jeremiah..*grinz* Over, wanted to pull of wigs as usual but sissy james called us to stop and then go for cast phototaking session. lol. damn. hahaa. still got alot of people outside know and we get those stares. haha. stupid!! Went backstage, celebrations, everyone cried except me i think. And hongheng got so so so into the crying session thing. haha. he even cires in sch now adays when he thinks of it. Why? Because DRAMANITE 2004 totally rockedddd the entire auditorium. Haha. ReAch! Can't forget it, never.. It was greatttt expericne. Anyway, keep taking photos again and then...went for supper [wth the long journey all the way to some tricked stupid place] then decided to split with the group, they're staying somewhere over. Me, Humairah, Xx, Neng, headed to midnight supper and home. -bad- haha. And then, slept throughout the night, soooo nice, finally I had a nice night of sleep. Still, dramanite is the best best performance and life-time experience. I'm sure everyone has definitely enjoyed it and they are asking for more. Btw, haha, ELDDS gets more priviledge and is very well known now. We get extra support from P. , V.P and ex-gessians wanting to donate huge sums to GESSELDDS. hahaa. WE RAWK and ROCK. weeheheheh~~!!
