We won 3 in a row, Debates, Debates, Debates
HEY!! Got too much to blog you know. Alot, realle alot. haha! Couldn't remember the date, but a few days ago, was our school's Sec 3 interclass First debate.(for us) 3H vs 3F. Opposition team!(we won) And see title, obviously 3H won. Basically 3F could not speak to well or had not been prepared for it. No reply speech, nothing to say. Happy lah. Haha, I won the best speaker award, not knowing that there's actually such an award, I was blur okay? hah. eah, so we had only two days, in fact one and a half day. Got down to work as soon as we knew the motion and investigatiosn in progress, stayed back to crack brains, rush the script out on our own. Realle dumb. This time battle was against 3D vs 3H. A much more scarier one. Sounds ironic, 3F we not scared, 3D we scared. haha. Basically because 3D has prominent debators. so called. Strong opponents. This time, we're proposition! yay! Fianlly a change. haha, Really tough and strong competitors, good challenge. And we got penalised because some people were talking at the back of discussion and they accused us of having extra people to help when we did not, some one voiced the issue out and got scolded due to rudeness and was pressed on the word "gentlement debating stlye". When we heard that we got penalised, we were upset. Thinking we would have lost and Mr lee said " the winner for today's debate is the proposition team, Sec 3H" WHOOO!!! We screamed and jumped like crazy! We got penalised, yet we still won them. Proves that how much more better we are than them. I won best speaker again. hehehe!! And those unworthy opponents. Sore losers. Give that kind of face and just walk off like that. PROUDLY, no sportsmanship. Cannot live with the fact that they lost, still filled with hatred till now. Come On'. 3D vs 3H.semifinals. Yes, they are strong opponents,and you speak well, but you've got not enough points, what to do? LIVE WITH IT, YOU LOST. Okay? And stop harbouring grudges over 3H, admit it we're better. LOL! So immediately after that debate, again, we were given the next motion with was like WTF. Don't even understand it at all!! Here is goes
hahah! Get it or not? lol. It was the 3H vs 3I team debate finals. Whatever it is, yesterday we stayed in school right after 1.30pm -6.15pm then we went to have dinner at LJS tbp until 7pm, then idiotic kokyong as usual come and steal our food. Then later, we discussed and were so into the debate, damn frustrated yeah? Till 8.45pm, armstrong came to join us after entertaining the Thai Students in school. And we were brainstorming like hell and so into debate until 10.30pm, when LJS was closing, we left tiong bahru and went home. Went home, could not sleep, debators had to meet online just to complete the script over night and stuff. Find examples and stuff till 2am, really tired had to go offline and sleep. Got school the next day and I'm excused from lit homeworks. LOL! cool! Then just fell asleep, leave the other things till tomorrow and do. Today morning woke up at 6am. 3 hours plus of sleep only, quite tired and off. Went to school early, got down to debate again, since first 2 periods were free, we went off to the conference room to complete the script. Initially we were screwed and damn stressed. Xiaoxuan suffered from mental breakdown. Nadiah was wary. And I was just writing aimlessly and stressed. We completed the script in time,5 mins before and we proceeded to the hall to take our positions, the crowds came in the hall, lights shone and stuff. Heartbeat rate: 102. Really scary, see alot of people. At first we were damn positive we would not win! So depressed and negative. Throughout the debate, everyone was shaking and shivering even the Propo team (for info, we were oppositions) don't know wth we're saying. The crowd kinda switched off cause the motion was so darn boring lor. 3H brought this big posters and banners 3H written on it and kept waving it and doing the 3H cheer. haha! Then 3I idiotic, copy us. go write on small pieces of paper. Totally lame. 3i debators were rather *ahem* no description as in the way they behaved and stuff. Keep sya8ing we contradicting ourselves, the problem is! They don't even listen and understand what we're talking about. Perhaps its too cheem. Judges were different this time, they were international debate judges invited to school today. Hmm..they said we had style, points and strategy. We didn't know we would win, we kinda sucked today! BUT WE WON!!!! They announced the winning team ,we screamed and 3h screamed. OMg! haha! So damn cool. Then we got the trophies also. 3 in a row, I won the best speaker again this time round which was so wtf. How can? I was quite scvrwed today. First time being scared. Nvm. haha. So funny man. See 3I's face. So unhappy with us. Btw, they had better sportsmanship than 3D. Bleah. At least they came over to congratulate us. The crowd dispersed and we too. Btw, did I mention Mr Derek Tan was so kind to help us alot in the debate? He taught us how to do it, but not the notes. He did, somehow help lah. Thanks alot. Everyone was so damn happy. Esp 3h, Miss Armstrong and Derek tan. They demanded a treat from us. HEY, excuse me, they should treat us for winning 3 in a row debate okay! And yesterday's 2am nitework was worthwile! Finally today onwards I can sleep!! YAY!!! HAHA. Oh, today's our schools IFD Fiesta, International Friendshp day cum English day etc... alot. Changed name only. Got alot of stalls set up, talentime, and of course the grand finals of debate. Can't beelieve we won still, everyone's so excited. 4 trophies for WINNING DEBATING TEAM and one BEST SPEAKER AWARD. yay! I got 2. haha!! Okie. So we tend our stalls, very good business, we cracked our business mind heads. Brought the same debate poster and banner up to support Hongheng's team for talentime. They booed us. Sore losers. WAnt 3I to win, practically they were the only ones, the entire school supports us. Esp 3C who wants revenge against 3I. so happy! haha. Yeah, talentime, hongheng came in 3rd. Good. haha.! So everyone was happy today, VP patronized our stalls. Then play play play, and everything was soon over got a few coupons left, waste of money. LOLX. Unrefundable ones. hehe. After that we pasted the big OPPOSITION word, from the debate earlier on, on the class wall along with the 3H banner. Cool! Hehe. proud of being oppo man! Celebrated and went out to eat just now. yumyum. Finally a good rest. Haha. had alot of fun laughing out and talking crap, teaching jiayu english. LOL! Its damn funny. anyway, i'm really happy. First time debator, actually 3rd lah, if counting number of debates. HEHE! SO HAPPY. Still canot believe 3H won! And todays debate was battle of the sexes, 3H all girls, 3I all guys. GIRL POWER! LOL!!! Heheh. H rocks, no other alphabets. lol.

Heya! Yesterday was the greatest moment of my life!! Okay, fine. Nothing great, just 2.4km okay? haha! Anyways, 5pm we started our run, took number tags. SCARY~. Run like hell lah, canot take it anymore, alot of people also lag, then I was like so time keeping on my watc and run all the way back lor. Darn, I ACTUALLY PASSED WITH FLYING NUMBERS!! HAHA!! My first time running for it, yet I passed man! Unbelievable, so I was very very very happy lah. Almost cried, cause very tired also. Others, failed by either 0.1 stupid seconds or alot of seconds. WOW! I am amazed. My only victorious moment and I'm proud of it (kindof) Then we all slept at the arena, woke up 15 mins later, go and buy drinks, school almost closing as it was 6 plus. Went home after that, rush to study for SS and stuff, no time!! And today, was prefect's investiture, the worst and the screwed-iest. First, they made the guests wait so long just for a slideshow, can't get the screen working, so idiotic. And there was no one to even que us to go out and take up the Emceeing. Just like that. So anyhow also. Don't careee. Then, blahblahbblah, said a few wrong words, and all kinds of speeches by boring people *yawn!* and when it was time for Prefect's Oath, err...haha, idiotic VHP canot find the oath which was printed on this damned and stupid piece of paper and it was actually inside the dustbin and we had to dig for it and rush up to give him cause everyone was standing and waiting. Stupid! And he said "er..wait ah!" to the mic. Wahlao. Still want face or not. Whatever it is, two words, "Ineffective" and " screwed!". And I hate it cause it was the part where we have to go to the reception to entertain the guests, irritating man! So, we just left home early and as usual, the food sucks. Good grief, I just realised on my way back that I left my Amath text in school. WTH! Its backstage and I called people to help me find and now I can't even find it! Damn!! Tomorrow if I go to school and don't find it! I WILL GO CRAZY! Cause its not the first stinking time prefect's function caused me to lose something backstage or somewhere. First it was my blazer, then it was my Nike Bottle, now its my Amath text! FRIEK!
