SSC SELECTION CAMP'08
19June-20JuneOkay dokay, this is Doreen the "advisor" blogging here! In case you don't know who i'm. This is my jersey & my jersery number! Recognize it! :D For the sec 2's juniors, I'm the one who keeps holding on the the loudhailer going everywhere making
unnecessary noises. Ahh, that's me:D

Okay getting back to the main point. SSC selection camp this year was a blast! (for the seniors of course) Haha, for the sec 2 juniors, we tortured them,
i mean we shower our love on them by giving them free pumpings, pumpings and pumpings! How cool can that be! :D
Let's get on to Day One!
DAY ONE!Seniors reported at 6:15am while the sec 2's reported at idk what time O-:, anyway. the sec3's instructors get down to real work while the sec4's &5's advisors enjoyed their MACDONALDS breakfast
Did breifing, limzuiho!, and the first batch of campers went treking first, while the second batch of campers stayed in school to do ice-breakers! Anyway when you guys're doing the activities, the seniors are busying preparing for the trek and the logistic-in-charge are making sure that nothing's missing! See how hardworking they're!

I followed the second batch of campers only like 1/8 of the journey as the advisors found out that the bus which is ferrying all the campers after the trek has not enough seat. Awwww! That's like so sad.
So the few of the advisors= Haiqel, Me & Stozer went back to school to join the rest.
Though i can't join the campers in the 10KM trek, I'll just post the pictures here! Pictures for cooping people! :D Anyway, from the pictures, look like you guys have fun! Awww! I should have join you guys to create more noise! Yayhey!

After all the 10km walk + wrong way + laborious activities, all of the campers returned to the campsite
halfdead! Actually those instructors + advisors who went to the campsite to settle things first were also halfdead when all the campers return! We're super bored, nothing to do while waiting for the arrival of all the campers! ): Booooo! In any case, we played some ball games, sing some songs, aiya bonding time! :D Hahahah!
Okay, the campers finally reached the campsite & went to their bunk to place their belongings!

Upon reaching the campsite, instructors started to brief the campers, when the briefing is going on, this is what happens to the other instructors/advisors/teachers.

After the briefing and stuff, it was lunch! Instructors taught the camper a makan cheer. Actually i find it very weird, Instructor Stanley said this, "This is an easy cheer." In the end he make this cheer until soooooo complicated! I've to listen to this cheer for 5 times until I can memorize it. What a cheem/complicated/long cheer! -.-
Anyway, after the yummylicious lunch! It was outdoor actitivities time!..... for the campers only. LOL, booo the advisors and instructors had no part in it): Nevermind than, we just take pictures and BOND together! LOLOLOL! :D

Phew finally, so many pictures taken! Tsk, SSC + campers are all camwhores people. None of them're camera shy one leh! *faints*, okay anyway. After the outdoor activities, everyone was drained and tired. Aww): Than it was outdoor field cooking! Some of their food esp their rice were really chaoda -.- You can smell the chaoda "fragrance" like really from very very far away! But too bad, since they're the one who cook their own food, they shall eat it despite the food is chaoda!

, the instructors/teachers/advisors had very good food that nice. Yumyum, got sweet and sour fish, vegetables with mushroom. *drooools*
After the outdoor field cooking was presentation! Followed by solo night walk. Some of them said that it was really scary, some of them said that it was chicken feet. Despite all the comments made by the campers, i've to say something,
"OI. YOU KNOW BY SQUARTING ALONG THE ROAD FOR 20-30 MINUTES, THERE'RE A MILLIONS OF MOSQITOES BITES LEH!" Zomg -.-
The advisors' job for the nightwalk is to hide along the trail of the solo nightwalk incase of emergency. I was being pair up with Haiqel. When we reached our checkpoint where we're suppose to hide. We realized that, there was no bushes to hide in!!! In the end,
we just squarted down and acted like two really really big mushroom. But i think that it was super obvious! -.-
Anyway, being a gigantic huge mushroom isn't as easy as you thought okay! We were food for alot of mosquitoes for them to breed their precious little babies for half and hour! Zomg, i've more than 5 mosquitoes bite. + me and haiqel's leg cramp like heck! Imagine squartting like a mushroom for half and hour.
*faints*After that, it was wash up + lights out for the campers. While the campers are having their beauty sleep, Mr yeo was having inspirational talk for the instructors! After that, we went to shower and when we slept, it was about 3am+ ): Booooo.
Day 2Zomg, i seriously can't say anything about the earlier PT part. Cause.. I somehow overslept :D:D:D *guilty* Anyway, when i woke up, I only manage to take the pictures when you guys're doing your group activities. I didn't manage to take any pumping pictures! Aww that's sad right:P

Anyway, just telling a very interesting story, -.- When the seniors're taking group picture.
The bus left!!! Without us, lol! Mr yeo super duper blur. Than when he saw us, he gave a very very shocked face follow by this sentence, "EH HOW COME YOU GUYS NEVER BOARDED THE BUS."

SSC just love to camwhore, they're never camerashy. Camera shy? What is camera shy? O.o Don't even know the meaning. HAHAHA!!
