游走DC II

Museum
The Smithsonian museum is pretty impressive. It has 16 museums under its realm. I visited American History Museum, National Art Gallery, Air & Space Museum, and the Holocaust Museum. It is always advisable to join the guided tour as it gives you more insight and info on what you’re seeing. On top of that, you have some ‘alley’ gossip. Haha.

American History Museum (AHM). It has this huge George Washington Sculpture at the ground floor. GW dressed in Greek attire, and the original of the design is to make him standing on the horse carriage. Well, money constraints. They lacked of fund and thus decided to make him sitting on the throne instead. due to the improper attire in the culture, they find that it is a disgrace for the first president to dress skimpily outside the white house, the authority donated it to Smithsonian Museum.

Another funny story on this. When the sculpture was first constructed, it was shipped from the pier. It sank the boat immediately as it was too heavy!! They then retrieved back from the sea and ship it again. So amusing. Haha.

AHM has another few interesting exhibition including the civil war, the presidency, first lady, bible etc. Thanks to the volunteer’s recommendation, I have decided to walk through the first lady exhibition.

True enough, the preference on the dress (costume) and cutlery reveal the personality. Nancy Reagan has the most fancy one. Thanks to her background as Hollywood star. Hehe.  Her dress are quite dressy and elegant and probably stylish. The color of the cutlery she chose was bright red whilst I can see what Hilary Clinton, Laura Bush and Michelle Obama, they are more down to earth, relatively and conservative. It is also fascinating to see Chinese art on the cutlery. I wonder why do they bother to highlight the ‘Chinese’ art. Well…
Natural History Museum. It showcased the fossil, oh it reminds me of the days i had at Drumheller. hehe...

Holocaust Museum. I have a soft spot for that. I know it’s going to be emotional and heart-breaking whenever you visit holocaust related exhibition. This time round we joined a ‘Propaganda’ tour. It basically takes you through an exhibition on how Nazi uses propaganda to brainwash the whole nation. Adolf Hitler and his phd buddy, Joseph Goebbels, really had their own way. It’s amazing. Then the national unemployment rate is 33%. Although Hitler did not win the 2/3 of the parliamentary vote, his Nazi party was still considered the majority.

He blamed Jewish for the bad economy, the war etc. he wavered a war against Jews, he persecuted them. How cruel. His final solution was to send them to the concentration camp! I once visited a concentration camp in Czech in 2009. It was scary and I always got lost inside the tunnel. That was history and in some ways are we repeating the history unknowingly?

Air & Space Museum. It turns out to be the favorite of all. We managed to catch it on our last day. That was a bad move, we should have spent a good one day there! Bummer. It is full of people. Long lines were formed way before the museum opens. Hehe.

We joined a guided tour again. The guy told us actually it was the mail service system which drove the development of aerospace. Eventually United Airlines, the commercial airlines invested in Boeing to have the planes commercialized and it then becomes a passenger carriages. In fact, this has raised the respect towards UA. Hehe… I like UA because of its mileage system, I did not know about its contribution until that guided tour.

The guide then introduced to us the various milestones of the aerospace history. It includes the first moon walk, Apollo 13 etc. pretty impressive on how human tries to innovate and explore the outer space.

Anyway, I find myself really dumb and ignorant about all those milestones. I am an engineer, studied science for so many years and I am working on the technology (though for printer). Yet I am so not-so-into the beauty of engineering. Haha. shame on me. That is also why I always say it is by God’s grace that I am who I am today and able to enjoy what He has blessed me abundantly.

The post office museum located right below mdm Lin’s office. We just peep and quickly tour around before picking up our baggage to catch the train to BWI airport. It features some clips on how USPS sort the mail, how the automation takes places and how do we decode the barcode and zip code for the postal service. It is not too new to me as I once visited the USPS line in Carmel Mountain. The advancement of technology and automation has replaced much of the human effort and thus increase the productivity. The down side is the unemployment rate is creeping upwards. Those things look so close to heart as it has some direct impact on the product that we are working on right now. Cool.

mdmYe
I thought she is quite a serious lady when I first met her the evening before the DC trip. She surprised me as we interact more. More importantly I feel her love to me, over the 4 days duration.

I get to know her more as she tells us more about herself, her dream, her decision through the years. I see her as a loving woman as she fears her Lord and thus she is willing to become submissive to God’s will. This in turn has made her to surrender what she has and gave full support to her husband who pursued his dreams over the course of their marriage. The reason is simple. Because she knows he is doing what God called him to do, so she will support him for doing that. How beautiful and edifying of this testimony!

What has mdmLin done that has touches me that much? Well, she prepared breakfast for us, towel and toiletries for use, stubbornly paid for our bus ride and even the train ride (oh my, that was sooooo embarrassing. She bought us tickets secretly. Duh.) She cooked dinner, a lavish dinner for us. I feel so pampered and loved. I told her, I do not grow up in a family that parents prepare breakfast for us in the morning. I am not complaining about my mom, coz I know it Is not just in my family. But what mdmLin did is so caring, macam my mom. Hehe.. she packed snacks for our daily adventures to DC for sightsee. We travel out the house together in the morning, coming back together and had late dinner and chat. That was nice.

She brought us to the Jewish pastor church. Mclean Church at Tyson corner. I like the service. Hehe… it was a 40min one-way drive from home. The church is huge and it is amazing that how God has blessed the congregation growth as well as the financial needed to build such a big campus in one of the most expensive area at Tyson corner, VA. Tyson corner is the CBD in Virginia.

As we had a tough day outside and crave for asian food, she drove us to a Taiwanese chain which is obviously not on our way home, just to satisfy the crave. That was so nice of her.

I wrote her a postcard to her while I was In DC. Hehe.. it truly surprised her. Hehe… mdmLin/mdmYe. Whichever. She is the same lady. Hehe… she has the panda postcard! and she told me she loves it!

Open top
This is the first time I paid for this kind of service. It works! Hehe. I am glad chiuchiu proposed that. It helps with less walking since with this convenience, we already need to walk a lot. Hehe… nice to be a tourist.

Hop on and off the coach. Also, the best part is they have some commentary whenever we come to a tourist attraction. Nice. A bit expensive though. But it was a good investment.

游走 DC I

Somehow DC has some unspoken charm. Maybe because there are too many iconic landmark over there which signifies this land belongs to United States of America. The legislation, the congress, the white house, the presidency, the independence and various important legacies which were left behind!

Washington, D.C. DC means District of Columbia. It is not a state either. Washington is just like San Diego, the county name. I was so confused. You see, there is Washington State in the west coast, why would this capitol name itself ‘Washington’ with a DC as well! They like to confuse the visitor, hoping to create more traveling opportunities? Hehe…

Memorial
The National Mall is impressive. It stretches a few miles and what I like about this place is… you will find very few commercial shops here. Or I should say, none. All you can see are memorials and the Smithsonian Museum. One may wonder how do we get food and drink? Well, there are trucks selling food. Yes, hot dog and soda.

DC was first carved out to be the capitol of United States, just like Canberra in Australia. L’Enfant was commissioned to design the layout of the city. It was then during Great depression and having such a urban development plan helps to create more jobs. Smart move uh. The landscape is quite square-ish. Basically the alphabetical street run though from east to west and the number streets run from north to south. The diagonal street are named after the various states except California and forgot which one. DC is split into 4 quadrants, not the typical quadrant but NW, NE, SW, and SE. Every place is relative to the Centro of Capitol Building at the top of Capitol Hill.

The lady of freedom on top of the capitol building is under construction. No building in DC shall be higher than 12 storey. Reason being freedom shall reign in any case. White house. I only get to see white house from far. Due to the Easter reception, tents were built. Heard one need to apply for the permit 6months prior to the visit. Duh. For what? Big deal uh. Hehe… the one unique building which is the treasury building is one of those you would want to recognize. Because it appears on the 10 dollar bill. Then right across the treasury building is the Willard Hotel. Rev Martin Luther King Jr first had spoken there. Fancy and expensive hotel. You can see tai-tai dressing up and there were chauffeurs. Ah well… being atas
Washington Monument has its interesting history as well. The 50 flags indicates the 50 states in the nation. Then you can see there are 2 shades of stone being used to construct the monuments. It was halted halfway due to the lacking of material and money. Egyptian obelix shape, 551ft tall, 55” as the based. I saw people flying kites over there.
2012 is also the year the city celebrates 120th anniversary of cherry tree gift from Japan. Usually end mar through early Apr is the cherry blossom festival. Aw, it was a warm spring thus by the time we got there, the sakura is gone. I do saw a few left. It would be real nice if I get to see the actual blossom. Guess what, in 2011, DC government has issued 70,000 traffic tickets during the cherry blossom season alone. You can imagine how much tourism it brings in every year.

The thousands of cherry blossom trees were located around tidal basic. It provides a great backdrop for Thomas Jefferson memorial photography. Despite the fact not having blooming sakura, it is still scenic. Still is the word I would use to describe.  Jefferson is the 3rd president of United States of America. He drafted the declaration of Independence, State of Virginia  and he is the father of the university of Virginia.

Lincoln Memorial remember the 16th president of U.S. You always link slavery to his name. He sits at the center of the memorial and he believes in ‘All man are created equal’. That is the reason why he pursued the dream of having to abolish the slavery doctrines in the country, The picture of Lincoln Memorial is commonly found on a penny coin. Hehe.
Rev Martin Luther King Jr delivered his ‘I have a dream’ speech at this memorial too.

There at the vicinity you get to see a lot of war memorial. Vietnam War, Korean War, World War II. It is also quite amazing that how the nation remembers those who fought for the country. In a way it is good. Many names of the walls signifies the price of the freedom. There is no free freedom.

Korean War Memorial.I like the idea of having the images of the 19 soldiers being reflected on the wall to create an illusion that there were actually 38 of them. Good thought.

Also, the Vietnamese war memorial is quite debatable too. I only read this piece of information after I got back. Apparently the long wall had all the soldiers name inscribed and when another sculptor placed another piece “the three soldiers’ in the memorial, the wall designer was angry as she feels that it jeopardize the whole design. Ah well. So they tried to put the new sculptures at a reasonable distance so that it minimize the tension.

World war II memorial.  Quite big. It has Pacific and Atlantic on both sides and each pillar represent a state in the nation. Also, the still water and the fountain creates some sort of the contrast. There is a ‘star’ wall, each star represents 1000 soldier. Many had died due to warfare. Sigh.

Across the Potomac river, there are Arlington National Cemetery, Pentagon and Mt Vermont (the residence of the first US president, George Washington). The reason why I visited Arlington National Cemetery is because I want to see the Iwo Jima statue. Apparently you need to walk 1mile to see those.

The iconic Iwo Jima statues was inspired based on the ‘Raising the flag on Iwo Jima’ photo. I once watched a movie on ‘Letter from Iwo Jima’. That is why I was determined to visit the memorial. Also, I saw Netherland Carillon. It was a gift from Netherland, thanking United States for rendering their help during the war. Sweet. You can see tulips there too.

I took the blue line bus again to peep at Pentagon. Ah, pentagon is 3 storey high. Nothing special. It is the military office. No wonder it was the target back in 2003. Also, photography is prohibited in the compound. Don’t play play. Hehe… there is this pentagon city with some fancy malls.
The yellow line bus brought us to the national cathedral, embassy street and a upper class hipster neighborhood called Georgetown. The buildings are quite old-fashioned. Gothic? Not too sure.  Oh yes, we passed by the place where the Vice president reside. Hehe.. and one interesting remark that we heard was that… Iraq embassy was the only embassy which as its glasses shielded with the metal strip. Kekek. Mayflower hotel is where Bill Clinton had his famous affair, and Ford theatre was where Lincoln was assassinated.
What does Downtown DC offer? I don’t really know. What I know is that DC is basically comprised of museum and federal government bodies. Nothing else. This is not a place for food and shopping paradise.

I need to continue writing else I would really be forgetting what I have seen.

La Jolla Half Marathon

I have been saying I wanted to join a HM and thanks to Charles who pushed us for signing up. 3 of us i.e. Charles, Isaac and myself signed up for HM whilst Robert prefers to do a 5k. That was great. It is nice to have some buddies to run the race, just like those who did it with me for stand chart when back in Singapore. I miss xibin, zhijing, and daozhi. Hehe…

4/28. Pre-race day. We went to La jolla Cove to collect the race pack and I was super excited. Have been stuffing myself with lots of carbohydrate for the past 1 week, in the name of HM storage. Kekek. Minimal exercise too. Muahah…
4/29. The race day. There was a traffic delay at Via de la Valle. Charles was more gancheong than I am, maybe because he was driving and not me. In the end we decided to park nearby and walked to the starting point. The distance is about 1km, I think. Wwhooo, we were in the second wave. 6000 participants for HM, not too bad. Woman seems to be more than guy and I saw quite a number of older folks too. Here comes the gun shot and the cheering from the DJ.

I don’t quite like the small route which we took. Turned here and there. Partly because it is a huge crowd, so I feel a bit stuffy. I wore long sleeves and pant. Start to feel warm shortly after the start of the run. No sun, quite cloudy and gloomy. I do not like the feel. Hehe… but it is definitely pleasant to run in that weather. The pace of the runners is fast, they do not seem to slow down for whatever reason. Not for the first 4 miles. Hoho.. 1 mile = 1.66 km. I ran with Charles at first and then I told him to go ahead without me. In fact I feel less pressurized when I am running at my own pace and without chatting.

Lots of residents woke up to cheer us along the way. So nice of them. Some brought banners, a few offers bananas, some ring the bell. Great scene. FYI, this HM route is pretty scenic as it passed by Del Mar, Torrey Pines State Park, La Jolla Shore and La Jolla cove. Due to its strategic location, those housing estates are quite expensive. What I am trying to say is…those resident are very rich. Haha.

I am only familiarize with part of the route, so I told myself I need to look forward to the Torrey Pines hill which is at the 4miles mark. Hehe… so I just kept going and pace myself in preparation for the toughest hill in this HM. A lot of people started to walk while going up the hill. I was so temped to do so too. In some ways they were blocking those who want to run. Arghh… for once I was considering that I may want to walk up instead. phew, thanks to the stubbornness to me, I managed to convince myself that I am here to run the HM, not walk. Also, I have been coming to TP for the past 5 weeks to get used to the hill, how can I walk during the race? No way. So… I slowly ran up the hill. I must say I enjoyed it. It wasn’t as tough as I was creeping up slowly.

When I hit the flat trail on the top, a runner ran beside me and said to me. “Good job. You made it to the hill. I saw you running up the hill”. That was a great encouragement. Ha. I was surprised that people noticed that. Blehs. That was so nice of him. He too ran up the hill. Hehe…

I feel the sharp pain of my right foot and hip after 7m. I know it has something got to do with my stride, and I did not become suspicious of my relatively new shoe. Again, I kept pushing my own limit. Partly because this is my first US HM. I do not want to screw it. Very crude word but I hope to have a fond memory on that. As I was paying attention to a surfer by the road, I suddenly realized Charles was just beside me! Hoho. I managed to catch up unknowingly. He said he has no strength especially he was really hungry. He pointed out that I was fast? Hmm where got. However at 7mile mark, the time was (75-7)min, that was a pretty impressive pace for me. We then ran together for a while and I grumbled about my pain. He told me to rest for 15s then run again. I refused to. I took the water drinking opportunity to slow down but not stop. I know I can make it within 2.5hrs but do I want to push it further? Making it a better personal record? Hmmm

The last 1mile stretch was killing me too. Uphill. Almost felt like walking again as I can feel the tensed muscles and the pain in the hip and foot. Again, I persisted and ran slowly. I hope to sprint towards the finishing line but I just couldn’t do it. I sensed that my legs were at the ‘cramp’ threshold, any further stretching will trigger the cramp immediately. It will be super awful and embarrassing to have cramps in front of the large crowd of spectators at the finishing line. I then took the decision to slowly run past the line.

I made it. 2:23:09. What a relieve. Thank God for the protection. No cramp though the sore and injuries come after the race.

We high-fived and went to collect the medal, banana and the acai fruit juice. Tempted to rush to church since it ended earlier than we thought. The bus ride took us 50min to get back to del mar and thus we were unable to make it to the service at 11am. That was a long bus ride, my legs were well rested. The next thing when I got down from the bus, my gosh. The right foot and hip were so painful. I literally feel that the nerve is complaining out loud. Whether or not it is nerve or whichever part, the pain is very real. I did not experience it during my past HM and FM and now I am suffering the pain! As we parked the car further away from the designated parking lot, we need to cross the freeway. Wowow. The pain was a bit too much. So I seriously grumble like a kid, telling Charles that I can’t take it. We then walked very slow. Charles must have shocked by my reaction, my kiddy side. But it was really painful. It was beyond my control and unable to hide it.

I have a friend who was unable to be there to cheer me on yet he had very nice and kind encouragement for me. It does keep me motivated throughout the run. Thank you, SR!

朋友-恩师

LeslieD
Friday bagel has become a session whereby I get to sit with lunch kaki most of the time. Today we had a interesting discover. I get t knw about this icelady more. So… JasonA is thrilled to find out that she is frank’s DIL. Hehe. What surprises me is that Les knew Ryan since she was 17! Wow, they kept in touch, did things together and did not date until she finished her PDD. That was amazing. Les was determined to pursue her PHD and thus she had no interest in engaging in a relationship. Ryan was also pretty impressive. He has been persistent all this while. Good for them! Frank must have thought who this les is, how come his son has to wait for so many years. Hehe…

Then today she shared about her passion. Karate. Karate is more of a defensive art than offensive. Well, there exists a type of offensive karate and that is sport karate. This art is focus in teaching you to be humble and know how to respect others. The last movement is always a position whereby you can retreat your feet. Oh, interesting finding.

We talked about ‘Concealed Carry Permit’. It is illegal to carry arm if you do not have the permit. It varies from states to states. This is especially true in Arizona since there are a lot of native Indian reserve there. Then I queried about the special privilege that the Indian has. ‘liberal guilt’ is the driving factor. Indians were the so called founders of the country. When White sees the land of opportunity, they corner the Indians to those not-so-nice states such as Arizona, Alabama etc. Naturally the coast areas got developed and proper as the time went by but Indians still at the rural place. This is also one of the reason why you can find more casino gaming places at Indian reserve. One of their source of income!

That leads to another topic on Swiss. DO you know, each Swiss man has to go thru BMT and they get to keep their gun after the so-called military service. In other word, every Swiss man know how to shoot. That indirectly drive the low crime rate in Switzerland. Who would want to attempt to shoot your neighbor? No kidding. You will get shot back anytime, by a trained gunner.

I felt… our friendship has emerged into another higher level. Cheers!

I always fear of him. Fear of his stern advices and rebuke yet I know what he has to say to me is always so truthful. He advises me not just based on his own experience and understanding, but also in accordance to God’s teaching too. He likes to give a few pointers for my own digestion instead of telling me what to do. Even though I am miles away but I feel that he and wife are always there for me. What else can I ask for? I am truly thankful for such a wise man in my life. To some extent my conviction, and life are being shaped and influenced heavily. Those are good check and influence!

Sometimes I will have this silly thought. What if one day he is gone suddenly, I might cry all the way from US to home. I become a bit reliant on his yet he always remind me to have independent thinking as he can’t mentor me all the time. One day, I shall be the mentor of others too. Pass it on.

Thank you Lord for such a wonderful mentor in my life. Amen.

You're fired!

Mutually Exclusive  This is one of the logical expression which I observe recently. Mutually exclusive does not mean collectively exclusive. It is amazing how all ties into this observation. Personality, interaction, timing etc. It provides more room for deep thought and sometimes it leads into confusion too.

Only one thing that is true and eternal. Seek God and ask Him to guard your heart and thought. For all the goodness comes from Him.

EFC Worship I had a pretty decent P&W team last Sunday. Drum and piano and strong vocal. We sang classic songs ‘Come Let us Sing’, “Come on and Celebrate’, “Thanks to God’, ‘When I look into Your Holiness’ and ‘You’re the King of Glory’. The vocalists did a great job in harmonizing the songs. Praise God for that. Although there were hiccups but God is gracious, He still speaks to His people and touches their hearts.

If Only… I met some interesting individuals who like to venture out and do the things that I always want to try and do, at least for once. It includes, car camping, backpacking, paragliding etc. Well, most of them are guys.

If only I am a guy, then I can just go with them in peace
If only I am a guy, I can go on a solo trip and just make friends along the way. At least it is less dangerous.
If only he/they is/are lady(ladies), then I can go on trips with him/them
If only he is a lady, I can go without having much consideration. Just do it!

If only… haha. that’s why it is called IF ONLY

Fired so... a co-worker was fired last Monday. Apparently i was out of town and I did not know it until 2 days ago. It shattered me. KellyR and Myself are friends of these 2 girls and they were both laid off in the recent months.First, this 'friend' did not even notify me. I thought she has 1 month notice; Second, PTP folks are unaware... after asking around, i was told she was let go. Given 3 months probation since Jan 2012 and her manager, JFranz traveled all the way from Oregon just to pass her the box, face to face. How harsh!

Given that their organization is fast growing and there won’t be any WFR in near future. It never occurs to me that people can get fired that way. as in, not to those I know. So it was really shocking. For awhile, I feel insecure about my job.

Therefore, be thankful with your job and work diligently. OK, I work short hours but I get my job done OK!

Manna for 3

It was my 2nd visit to this place. Crave for meat, somehow. The fat belly and the beef rib. Nice. We made it into a casual dining session instead. Jose was tied up at work, so there were only PW and doubleA.

It was an unusual combination. Haha. but it was indeed light hearted and fun. As doubleA said grace for the meal, he was giggling all the way. He thanked God for granting him this opportunity as he was definitely craving for meat! Therefore the dinner was super timely for them.

PW is very sweet too. She definitely needs some good outlet. Hehe. I am glad she and Jose talked about it and thus no more nightmare for her. Praise the Lord

Ballet Shoe

As i tried to get onto the press to print, my tech made a comment. You're on your ballet shoe again. ehe. That is an interesting remarks.

PACKAGING. that is where we are heading to. This business is so lucrative and interesting. Low hanging fruits. I like those exciting stuffs.

daiLou tried to take out my ear plug since i was a bit 'deaf' and couldn't really hear him during the conversation. That was hilarious.

ronB complained about the whole IHPS not getting erciW's email when DS could be their potential business opportunity. Oops.

Now, I need to get xp05 up and running. and all those will come later.

岁月的痕迹

Recently I have been observing people around me closely especially the GUYs. Not so much of deliberate effort but pure coincident that I get to work with them.

daiLou, ronB, SantiR

Didn't realize ronB is not as youthful until I took a closer look. hehe... We were drinking buddy during the Spring beer bust and we moved around to talk to people. I blame him for not bringing me to the Samuel Adams booth and he blamed me for leaving him alone with billF to talk. muahahaha. I did not do it on purpose. I want to grab sausage, that's why I walked away.

Anyway, he is really smart and witty. I generate the samples and he can do all sort of analysis. cooooool. It made our work looked so sophisticated. kekek.I seriously think i can talk nonsense to him nowadays since he will bear with me.

daiLou has aged. hehe. though still as fit. He sometimes talk as if talk is really cheap. salesman material. I think he might want to move to Esko one day?

I made santiR shave else I cannot lunch with him. hehe. he does. He is very gentlemen and a considerate guy. He loves freedom. And yes, i saw the white strand hairs. ronB was very crude. That day we were looking for santiR during the beer bust, I said it is easy to spot santi. Then ronB said is it because of the fraction of his hair? duh. So crude. I said no. because santiR is tall, so we could find him.

Just now I sat beside YHua during meeting. Wowo, hehe... from the skin completion, one just reveals his/her age. No way to hide.

Gosh, I may need to spend more on the skincare. This kind of money, cannot save! Heheh...

Butt

Oops. My butt really hurts... so do my both hamstring muscles. Could that be the consequences of 2 consecutive mountain hike? Cowles + Woodson! I do not usually feel that.

Mom asked why do you still hike when it hurts? Oops. I did not tell her I even went for a 35min run despite the pain. I am a freak.

Hope the Pilates and Yoga will help me soothe my muscles in the next 2 days.
*****
side track. today daSao made an interesting remarks.

It's ok, don't get stressed abt coming home. Staying at home with thier favourite aunt is fun too!
Does that mean I am the favourite aunt for all the little ones? kekeke

Indulgence - searching for the lost me

Today I indulge myself with the followings and I am very glad that these simple things made me happier, or at least brighten up my gloomy days. not depressed, but solemn days. hehe..
  1. 5 super big grapefruits. that guy said it is as sweet as the previous batch. I hope it really does.
  2. Pistachio Gelato. Yum yum. Though i have another small pint of dark raspberries ice cream in the fridge, I still..
  3. 2 big pack of potato chips. One of the sinful snack which is a MUST to me
  4. 12 large eggs. Getting my protein. Yeah. shh shh, given that i still have another 10 in the fridge
  5. 1 Natural Florida Orange Juice with Pulps. Hoho. addition to the whole cream milk && organic carrot juice
And my favourite buy!! Chocolate Marble Cake!! Love the buttery thick flavour. Yeah, fattening. Well, it's OK.

Dinner. What's for dinner? I had a nice combi today. It has been ages since i last fried something esp noodles and eggs. kekek
soy sauce hog belly+mushroom + frenchbean+prawn+mushroom+egg + cabbage冬粉

Oh well, this weekend is about solitude. Finding the lost me.
