Pops took Paxton and I to the Circus. He LOVED it. I loved watching Paxton enjoy it so much. Before the show we went to the meet and greet to see all the animals up close. Paxton was captivated by the "kitties" when looking at the big tiger Paxton looked up at Pops and said, "Oh, I love it!" He really wanted to pet the kitties too. Seeing the elephants up close was really neat too, much better then Hoogle Zoo because you could actually see how big they are compared to you. Grammy got us amazing seats and along with a little power nap we all had a fabulous time! Thanks Pops for the wonderful date!

I Love to see the Temple
One of my favorite things about our new Brigham City house is that we have the opportunity to live down the street from the new Temple! I love that when I get Paxton up in the morning and we open his drapes we can see the Temple and Paxton always says, "See Temple", it makes my heart melt. I have also been given the blessing of having a Calling involved with the opening of the Temple. It's a bit lengthy to describe but here's a run down of what I do. First off the part that I am involved in is the Youth Cultural Celebration, basically what this is is a "Opening Ceremonies" for the Temple. Very similar to the Opening Ceremonies for the Olympics but of course on a smaller scale and with a spiritual message. There are 4,000 youth preforming dance numbers and musicals celebrating Brigham City, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, our heritage and so forth. This is broadcasted and also preformed live in front of an audience including our Prophet and his Apostles on Sept. 23, 2012. My Calling is doing A LOT of working behind the scenes doing paperwork, organizing sewing groups, collecting costumes and supplies, being my ward's liaison between the many different Temple committees and much much more. I got to work with the large mosaic displays (if you went to the open house you saw one of them as you left). We have been working on this since April and it honestly has been a very big job but so very worth it. The last two weeks have been intense with meetings and last minute details organizing youth and parent meetings, mandatory rehearsals and preparing our ward/stake for being the host stake of the Temple. I'm so grateful for the blessing of being involved, my Bishop told me that this was a once in a lifetime kind of calling and he has been right! It has enabled me to be part of something so wonderful and has blessed my life! I can't wait till it's open!
Another reason I love living down the street, being able to run up to the Temple with my camera whenever I see the "perfect lighting". Here are some pictures I took about a month ago for project for my mom's ward.
And of course we went to the open house...
These are pictures of one of the 3 mosaic boards I was involved in for my calling.
It was so cool to see it done!

The blog name stays!
We are ecstatic that another crazy boy will be joining our family! We also couldn't be happier that Paxton will have a brother to play with! Now all the fun begins of designing their room, decorating, crafting and of course the shopping! Can't wait to meet the new little man!
(sorry it's a little blurry a sweet older lady offered to take it for us)
