Looking back,
- it has been a challenging year at work, with new friendships being formed and sealed. I really am looking forward to the chance to get to know my colleagues better although sometimes it's hard with us being all over the place in different satellites, and the pace of work makes it difficult to bond in a way.
- We had a great time of travels this year, to the US in August and Brisbane this past week. It was especially wonderful to be able to celebrate the 50th wedding anniversary of Uncle Richard & Auntie Molly!
- ...And many other weddings to celebrate and thank God for this past year :)
- It was also great to host Caleb at our place again, who's in the plane right now on the way back to LA. Hope it isn't another 4 years before he's back again.
- And of course, the big change in terms of Stan's work - from Mueller to actually living out the trust in tendering his resignation not knowing what was ahead, and then the adjustment to the new workplace; guess it has been rather exciting yet stressful for him.
- the year at work might be equally if not more challenging, especially as i think about looking into some research (ack, haven't thought much about it yet though :P)
- I don't really want to make New Year resolutions if i know i'm not gonna keep them, but definitely looking forward to the Mentoring Groups that are starting next week, and growing more in my journey with these dear sisters in Christ.
- Travels-wise.. Likely Shanghai in April, maybe HK in June and Mauritius in July to attend Douglas and then Steph's weddings...
- In Agapella, i feel it is rather uncertain times as we haven't really sat down and planned for the future. Another recording, Godwilling, but do we have the stamina and momentum for it?
- It will be a challenging year in the Children's Ministry at church as some of the children in our class this year may not be so easy to handle. Really need God's grace and wisdom as to how best to impart the knowledge to these little ones.
