safe in the everlasting arms

As i write this post my thoughts and prayers are still very much with Sharon and Stan's cousin Kenny as she is in the ICU. Nothing else humanly possible can be done, so all we can do is entrust her into our Heavenly Father's loving hands and continue to pray that she will pull through. Something that also struck close to my heart was finally having a clearer picture of an old dear friend's situation (yes, found out about it through Facebook actually :P) and the difficult period he had to go through - probably still is going through. By "old" friend, i mean that we used to be close.. and now have drifted apart. Although he still remains dear to me. In short, i am once again reminded about the transience of life and how we should treasure each moment we have been given. Guess it's really times like these that we learn what it means to "pray without ceasing".. I also hope to renew old ties in the near future.
