Besides keeping overseas friends updated about my news, this page hopes to encourage others along the journey we are all on. Looking back, it is surely testament to God's amazing Grace and Faithfulness. Looking ahead, we press on towards the goal, learning what it means to love each other, and not waste our lives.

Dream honeymoon destination?
Ok i’m not sure how many people really have a dream honeymoon destination but if you ask me, i’d consider somewhere in Europe pretty ideal (perhaps Austria – Sound of Music!! Or we were considering Scandinavia..) Didn’t really consider one of those beach getaways or Club Med resorts because i don’t swim or do water sports. But due to the limited time that we have, we ultimately decided that Europe was just too far away and not worth the time spent on the plane and possible jetlag. So looks like we might be headed down south again – probably Australia, ‘cos New Zealand is still pretty far and would be rather cold in August. It’ll be more familiar and therefore easy to get around, plus there might be opportunities to catch up with some friends while there. …I suppose where we go isn’t quite that important after all… It’s more the quality time spent together and, yes, to have a break after the wedding. And God-willing, we will be able to visit those other places at another time : )

Almost in the twinkle of an eye we find ourselves in the middle of June and with only about two months to go. Think both of us ‘suddenly’ realised how near the wedding is and how much there still remains to be done. ..Hm, kinda reminds me of the loving reminders of the shortness of time (read: gentle pressure) from Stan last year when it seemed he was more worried about my thesis deadline than i ;P) ..Perhaps when you’re right in the thick of things yourself, it’s easier to let each day go by without realising how quickly it does… Anyway, we are now seeing to the gathering of mailing addresses, printing of the invites, along with looking into other aspects such as the wedding cake, gown etc. And gee, all this while, have to keep working :P (thanks for the reminder, Will ;)

Comings and goings
So it's the June school holidays! Which means many assessments for us, and many people travelling all over the place - Dad, Stan's parents, Averil, Simone going to join the Cambodia team (not really - they're going with different groups of people ;P).. and Caleb's back in Singapore! Look forward to catching up with him! =) Despite the slight increase in workload in view of the school hols, and how it can get rather routine at times, it's nice to be able to appreciate the little things in life, like meeting dear friends online and chatting on msn ;)
