Just want to give thanks to God because yesterday’s session with my client went alright.. He wasn’t the easiest kid to test and we needed frequent breaks, but we got through it! And guess what – i’m a quarter-way through my entire course already! Crazy right :P So funny – Eugenie wanted to have a glass of champagne with me yesterday to celebrate, even though she still has exams herself!! But actually, can’t really say i’ve learnt very much through this one term. If anything, it has just highlighted the many areas i need to work on.. By God’s grace, shall persevere (after this holiday ;) and work on improving my skills as a practitioner!
Went for Newcomer's Supper at Graham and Tracy Johnston's house last night (the senior pastor at Subi church). Was great fun playing Scattegories and getting to know a few people a bit better. Just a light-hearted evening of getting to know more brothers and sisters in Christ :)
Well not sure whether i’ll be putting up any posts in the next one month.. But look forward to seeing and catching up with friends back home =)
Besides keeping overseas friends updated about my news, this page hopes to encourage others along the journey we are all on. Looking back, it is surely testament to God's amazing Grace and Faithfulness. Looking ahead, we press on towards the goal, learning what it means to love each other, and not waste our lives.

By this time next week...
I know everyone back home must probably think i’m crazy but right now i’m really looking forward to the weather in Singapore. Am now really quite cold in the house.. Dunno how i survived Sheffield :P The weather today is like it has been the past few days – fickle! One moment the sun is out, and the next it’s raining or the wind’s blowing very strong… The sky also is quite funny 'cos you can see a patch of clear blue in one area, while there’s only grey above your head. But i saw the most amazing rainbow while on the road just now! :) Which reminds me of what my OCF and Bible Study group friend Deborah shared the other day at girls’ prayer meet. She loves rainbows, and every day this week she has been able to see a rainbow from where she studies in the library! Isn’t that wonderful! Just another reminder of God’s never changing faithfulness and His promises to us =)
Oh, also wanted to share something really amazing that i just read today - a wonderful picture. May it encourage those who are stressed out by exams or work or other things:
.....ok I give up. Am turning the heater on now ;P

Holiday mood :)
And they say places like the UK and Melbourne have unpredictable weather…! After many days of forecasting rain, the sun was still shining on Sunday, so i was hoping to go cycling yesterday, but that’s when the storm came, which was supposed to last the whole of this week. Right now, the sun is out and the skies are blue although it was a very wet morning - very tempting, and i don’t know whether to trust that it will last for the next 2 hours!
Erm, yes, the car.. Will definitely put pictures up as soon as i know how! Did i mention how thankful i am for the ‘freedom’ i now have? Was able to join in for badminton last Saturday for the first time, and have been driving to church and uni these few days. Will be able to go for the OCF girls' prayer meet tomorrow! Yay!! God’s angels must definitely be protecting me on the road because there have been no incidents so far :P And you know what, i do believe i am getting to be a better driver - practice makes perfect right ;) ..i might even have the confidence to drive some of you around when you visit ;P

Last teaching day of the term!
Can you believe how time flies?? So i handed in my critical review and we had our last seminar of the term today… Actually not as pleased as i thought i’d be cos i’m not super happy with my critical review, plus didn’t have that great an experience with my first client yesterday; but just thankful for the Lord’s guidance and goodness throughout this term here.
Oh, the other big news: i got my car on Wednesday!!! For those who are interested, it’s a 1998 Toyota Starlet (i.e. small car!), dark blue in colour =) There was some drama in finally getting the car but basically, really must thank my aunt and uncle for helping me with the whole transaction and replacing the tyres and stuff. ..and i also hope i have found a new friend in the girl i bought the car from! Still have to send it in for servicing and have to clean it up, but still so exciting ya! Would appreciate prayers for safety as i get used to the car and to driving again! ;)
Yup words can’t express my thanks to God for how He has carried me through this past term, though there were some rough patches.. Of course, still got issues – got lots to improve in terms of my critical thinking and practical skills, and even time-management and relating to people. But praise God – He can change lives and personalities, and trust that He’s doing just that in my heart as well! May that also be an encouragement to my dear brothers and sisters who also struggle with living Christ-like lives while our natural inclination is to be so human. God bless you, dear friends!
