Home-Made Churros, Anyone?

Made Churros for breakfast today since I'm not working & on MC. Thanks to a wonderful girlfriend who shared this recipe with me.. Love love love!!

Sick! Sick! Sick!

Baby Akil's down with viral fever since last Wednesday.. Fever comes & goes, runny nose, coughing & vomitting.. The worst ever that I've seen.. Pity him.. He lost his appetite too! Best part, I'm down with runny nose & starting to feel feverish since weekend..

So boh pian, yesterday both mom & baby went to Polyclinic for a check, got our meds & doc gave us 2 days of MC.. Like finally be able to rest my exhausted worn out self @ home..

"Get well soon lil bub.. We wanna see your bubbly smile again.."

Anyway, I'm loving this make-up I tried on myself.. Makes me look like the hot & gorgeous Miss Tyra Banks.. The "Muslimah version" of her.. Hub said I look super hot in this make-up.. LOL

Meh layan gambo aku yang make-up mcm Tyra Banks ni sambil rehat kat ruma.. =]

Flowers & Batik..

Was walking pass the neighbourhood garden when I saw these.. Flowers in full bloom!! Masya'allah, so gorgeous lah!! Macam nak petik bawak balek jer.. Love love love!!

And say "Hello" to our newest member in the family, Batik.. A Sri Lankan Star Tortoise.. Why Batik? Sebab shell diye macam pattern kain Batik.. LOL.. And it's a tame tortoise too!!

Ummi's Babysitting Day Today..

Took leave today coz MIL had to accompany DIL for his Hernia Operation.. But it turned out DIL had to have his 4 teeth extracted for some "safety operation" reasons & he needs to go back to the hospital again tomorrow.. Pity the old man, seeing him with all the stitches on his lower gums..

So I spent my day sending my bigger babies to school, taking care of the little one, cooking & watching a very good movie while munching on Oreo cookies!! Haha!

Dua Kalimah.. A must watch for those who have not watch the movie at all..

And can you believe my MIL bought the DVD in JB for just SGD$1? Super cheap sia!! Good quality too!!

"Le-Park" Sunday..

Cooked Chicken Curry today.. Bro & his girlfriend came over for a "le-park" session & I'm so loving the shawl they gave me although I'm not much of a "pink" fan.. I just LOVE the soft texture of the shawl!

Finally gonna sleep peacefully knowing that all chores done & my crib looks super clean.. =]

It's "Stay-Home" Saturday!!

It feels sooooooo good to cook & just "le-park" at home with my family today..

Walking My Stress Away..

Night or day, I never get sick & tired walking on the same route home after work.. I call it "The Longkang Route"..

It's kinda peaceful walking my stress away & just having a "me time" reflecting on my everyday life, before reaching home to be with my love ones..

And I love how the sky blends so well with the clouds.. No filter.. No edit.. Masya'allah! So gorgeous!

Our "Every Sunday" Routine..

Every Sunday, our routine is to send, wait & fetch Abang Asil from his Phonics Class.. If hub had to work on that day, it's my call to send Abang Asil for his class, bringing Kakak Asyura & Baby Akil along..

Usually after his class, we would pick a place to hangout before heading home.. So last Sunday's pick was at The Jurong Lake Park.. =]

5 days of school & not leaving home on weekdays, my bigger babies deserve a break to go "all out" on weekends.. It's like being given the "freedom" to play as much as they want after all the studying & brushing up on their homework..

Even my little one was having a fun time @ the park playing see-saw with his elder brother & sister..

Today's happy faces when they saw me.. Priceless..

You can have & buy as many things as you want.. Visit as many places in the world as you can..

But to not have & been given a chance to bear children from your own flesh & blood; the most precious gift of all from Allah, YOUR LIVES WILL STILL FEEL & BE EMPTY..
