My last entry's suck!

This very fatherly man named Mehmed.
In front of him we call him Sir, but behind we call him uncle.
hihi..

A turkish but live in London for already 4 years.
40 years old. Single.
A Manager of a Thai Restaurant in London.

Where was this man came from?
We met him in a metro on the way to Topkapi Palace.
Actually Topkapi Palace's in Sultanahmet, not in Topkapi.
In other words, we were in a wrong direction.

So,the only option we had is to visit Panorama Museum in Topkapi.
Fortunately he's going to the museum too.
And he volunteer to take us there and explain what he knew.

Hahaha.. Our colleges from other places paid 35USD for halfday touristguide and we got it for free!
By the way Sir Mehmed studied History & Political Science.
And he knew a LOT about all the amazing infos that you might not find in books.
All the explanations in the museum were in Turkish.
If we didn't met Sir Mehmed, we just wasting our money then.

After museum-ing.. He gave us his map, all his brochures for us.
And we also exchanged phone number.


Until one day, when we decided to visit GALATA TOWER, we called him for direction.
He seemed very worried. But we managed find the tower .
Until we met him again on the way to Mahmud Pasa.
He brought us there..
By the way. . Mahmud Pasa is the real place for shopping!
Get your mental ready before u go crazy there.

And after that, we went to Eyub..
A hills of dead. On top of it were restaurants and hotels.
We took a cabel car.
The view from the top was awesome! At night..
He introduced us some traditional drinks and food named sahlep.
It's delicious.
About the food..
looks like pancake with cheese and spinach inside it..
Perfect!

We finished about 10 p.m.
Very kindly, he escorted us until in front of our hotel to make sure we safe.
And extra kindly, he helped me with my shopping luggage! hihi..

The next day which was the last day,he came to our hotel to say goodbye to us.
We'll miss u Sir Mehmed..

-I was the first who tried it. Suddenly so there's a crowd to try it.
-A professional photographer took a photo of me with the candy!

-Before Bosphorus Cruise. With our organizer, Aiman, "Si Melayu Celup" because he can speaks Malay..

- View from the cruise. The water seems dark and mysterious. But Calm...
A lot of luxurious houses at the beache. With private boats.
Each of us claimed our own house.. hihihi..

This is the best part!!!

- Istanbul is heaven for shopping! Heaven!!!
We were very lucky for the sale was exactly on the day we visited the mall!
Heaven sale.. Sangat murah..

At the leather market. A reasonable price..
And i bought...................

TADAAAA...!!!

-A clutch + purse.
Read that : Deri Sarayi, Genuine Leather, Since 1957
Since i don't have a proper purse, so I decided to get a nice one with quality.
The only red leather. The Price?? berpatutan lah dgn genuine leather..
So,this is my new baby.

- Sir Mehmed. Our free touristguide until the very last day.
A Turksih but live in London.
A Manager of That Restaurant. Single.
I'm gonna make an entry for this noble man..

- In Panorama museum (History museum) in Topkapi.
The first 3D museum in the world. But all in Turkish.
Thanx to Sir Mehmed for the translation.

-This is the painting covering a 3000 square metre area in 360 degree spatial setting with a sense of 3D.

-Okay.. That good looking guy really has a talent.
He's drawing a pic of me.. ehh.. no.. The Great Blue Mosque.
And his drawing is beautiful.. Actually he just sketched..

-In front of Hagia Sophia. raining..

- Again in front of Aya Sophia and scenic fountain.
Aya sophia was once a church,a mosque and now a museum.

-Zagazigian team. The Best and The always crowd attention group..

-Inside the Topkapi Palace. With Hanatarius.

-Searching for the key.. hehehe..
I changed my mind. I dont want to marry a prince anymore. The Palace is soooooo large. Easily get lost. And it might take 2 hours just to meet my prince. Sigh!!

Glimmering chandelier add the mistique of the Mosque.

I love snow!

-Taksim Square. Quite expensive.
But still berlambak je beli..
Them.. not me!

-Eyub.. Tombs of Pasha(general). The hill's full with tombs of so many generation.
On Top of the hill were restaurant and hotels.
Need to take a cabel car to the top.

Grand Bazaar. Ceramics..
Pakcik yg gatal.. but its okay.
He gave a good price.

-Hari Sahabat in Turkey.

-Sahlep. A traditional drink.
On top is kulit kayu manis.
Followed by yogurt mixed with orchid's herb.

Abah...

Abah saya memang lain dari yang lain.
Abah saya seorang yang 'Family Man' Abah x suka keluar lepak2 dengan kawan2 kat kedai kopi.
Kalau kawan ajak jumpa pun abah akan tolak. A
bah lebih suka habiskan masa di rumah, dengan anak2..
Layan kerenah anak2 dia yang tah hape2 ni. Banyak ragam.
Abah saya suka masak. Dan masakan abah sangat sedap.
Kecik2 dulu, abah ade masak nasik goreng warna kuning.
Abah kata nama nasi goreng tu "Amore DeCosto"
Maka,kami pun makanlah dengan seleranya.
Dah besar baru abah bgtau itu nasi goreng biasa je.
Saje taruk nama pelik2 supaya kitorang nak makan..
Saya baru tahu tahun lepas.. hahaha!!

Masa time exam, lagi terharu.
Saya study, abah yg suapkan makanan.
Sampai SPM pun mcm tu.
Kalau saya lapar, saya akan merengek kat abah mintak abah masak..
Dah kat mesir ni, abah ajar saya memasak online pula..
Abah sangat sayang anak2 dia..
And,janganlah sesiapa kacau anak dia.
Those who mess with us means you're messing with my abah
Pernah ade satu waiter tu sampai nak nangis abah buat sebab waiter tu kurang ajar dgn kami..
Serve u right!!
Kami selalu tenangkan abah.
Mana yang kami kesian,kami x bagi abah marah dia, so abah x marahlah.
Kalau yg mmg kurang ajar tu, kami yg suruh abah marah.


Abah agak tegas orangnya.
Tambah kalau org tu buat benda tak logik.
Mmg akan kena dgn abah.
Abah is a strict bossss!
Kerja mesti sistematik.
Abah is a very good driver..
Kami panggil abah pegawai JPJ.
Sebab cara abah memandu sangat berhemah.
And banyak sangat petua2 memandu xnak bagi kereta rosak. Saya pernah berangan nak buat international licence kat abah.
Tp harapan tinggal impian.
Abah takkan benarkan..

And saya x boleh kalau abah marah saya..
Saya akan rasa sedihhhh sangat.
Rasa macam abah x sayang saya.
Sebab abah jarang sgt marah.
Jadi, bila abah marah saya, saya akan merajuk.
Saya merajuk teruk & lama pulak tu. Boleh cecah 2 minggu. Sampai abah balik kecik hati..
Kakak Mintak Maaf ye bah...

Saya dgn adik selalu kacau abah.
Kami selalu tanya " Abah,Kakak dgn Adik, sape lagi cantik?"
Tak pun " Abah, abah sayang sape lebih? kakak ke adik?"
Saje je kacau abah.. suke tgk muka abah xtau nak jawab mcmane.
Abah akan jawab..
'anak abah mestilah semuanya cantik' '2-2 lah abah sayang'.
Tapi kami suruh abah pilih..
If abah cakap sayalah yg cantik or sayang, adik akan kate "APA??!!!!"
pastu abah kate "Eh..Eh.. x..x.. Adik..adik.."
Pastu saya pulak "APA???!!!!" "Eh..eh.. adik..eh..kakak..! Ish..adik dgn kakak jgnlah tanya soalan mcm ni.."
Lepas tu saya dgn adik masuk bilik & gelak2!

The Greatest Rock Kapak So Far..

Ada Apa Dengan Rock Kapak? Yaa.. Ada apa dengan rock kapak?
Hmm.. Saya mmg suka dengan rock kapak.
Sangat suka.. Mcm mana saya boleh suka lagu rock kapak ni pun saya tak tahu. Saya rasa saya membesar dgn lagu2 rock kapak.
Lagipun Balang Bangah selalu pasang lagu rock kapak.
And.. Kami adik beradik selalu karaoke ramai2 dalam kereta lagu rock kapak. So,kebanyakan lag rock kapak saya tahu.
Ramai jugak kawan2 yg pelik mana saya tahu lagu2 rock kapak ni.

Well,keluarga kami universal. Mak & Abah suka lagu 60-an.
Pastu selalu dengar siaran 'Klasik Nasional'.
Klasik Nasional tu plak keluarkan lagu dari zaman tok kaduk, 30-an, 40-an, sampailah 80-an.
Jadi boleh kata saya tau semua jenis lagu.
Along suka dengar lagu2 anita sarawak & exist.
Bangah suka lagu2 lama org putih (yg ni pun saya suka) dengan rock kapak. Balang suka lagu2 indie & rock kapak.
Saya suka english todays big hits,mariah carey,air supply,michael learns to rock, and rock kapak..
Adik pun suka jugak rock kapak.
Dia suka lagu2 teenage style..

Okay,back to our topic!
Kenapa saya suka lagu rock kapak?
Sebab lagu2 rock kapak ni iramanya lebih catchy.. And lirik masih bagus. x merapu seperti sekarang.
Yang penting.... ada banyak nama 'INTAN'!! hihihi Tak percaya?
