Started work at the deli a few days ago, it's pretty okay but I totally miss

Customers here are really friendly yay\o/ lots of love to you guys, a smile from you really makes me wanna smile tooooo:) There were two businessmen sitting in front of me and we were chatting, he was from ACS(B)! Talked about drinking styles and all and we concluded we're pretty similar hahah. He liked Pure Blonde too because it's light on the palate, indeed it is~ And he said he'll matchmake me with his "21 yo dashing son who is kinda like a k pop guy" LOL. So welfare ah they.

My last day at Absinthe was a pretty crazy and fun one
Stayed till 12.45am to fire desserts as well as take pix/talk nonsense to the other staff<3 :) Really gonna miss everyone omg! (except a few) Pass, garde manger, hot side, patisserie, service, dishwashers.. All of y'all are fun to work with and v nice to me AWWW:):)

Amanda wanted to make a honeycomb cake for me and Ah Hwa said next time I go back tell him so he can prepare special dessert platter for me. HAIYO. So nice to me later I cry.

I really learnt a lot at this place, many of which are valuable lessons. I've met great influential people, it is amazing! I really feel very lucky that Chef took me under his wing even though I was pretty much useless at the start lol

Pride issues

Darren was talking about how one can truly progress of you had your pride stripped. In army for instance, they strip your pride and replace it with that of the unit.

Then he asked me, "Tweety bird, will you cry if I strip you of your pride?"

Pain is good

Went for two days of muaythai despite muscle aches after the first day
And I chalked up 8 bruises (one of which was because I dropped my phone on my toe)

One on one with Garrick on Sunday was really intense
I started off training by myself on my kicks when he gave me a skipping rope

My knee has a huge bruise now! But I accidentally kneed him in the solar plexus harder than expected.. :/

Then we clinched and fought for control until the back of my head hurts (I can't even lean my head back on something because it hurts..)
Close combat probably not too useful if I'm against someone bigger and stronger but meh good to know anyway
