I don't understand how people like him get by doing these things, and why everyone seemed to accept his behavior. So what if he's a cleaner? Does that make him less important than anyone else in the kitchen? He fucking cleans the bowls that you use, and the floor that you step on.

Wow so many talent scouts going around in Orchard Road on Saturday
Honestly though, I'm pretty flattered

Kitchen dangers

I am declared a kitchen/knife danger

Pressing down on the sharp edge of the blade wondering why it feels so strange

Touching things that look cool and burning myself many times a day

It's actually not so much that I'm afraid I'll see blood
But more of I don't wanna deal with having to touch brine and shrink back in pain
So yes, go ahead and call me a baby ("Aiyo you hold the knife like a baby" "Wa you stand there look like a kindergarten kid") but I don't wanna draw blood and let it go to waste

The sous chef got his face scalded with splashes of hot oil because the churros exploded (dough had air, that's my guess) and it looks really really bad

Books Cellar

Whoo! Had a really fun time at Books Cellar over coffee, cake and a game of Taboo. Taboo was surprisingly hilarious because our level of English has dropped to neanderthal levels, many of which includes sounds and hand actions.

Had a lot a lot of funny moments but now I only can remember these!!!

Horror stories

Have you ever seen a lobster being taken apart while it's still alive? If your answer is no, good. YOU DON'T WANNA SEE IT.

I felt so sad for the lobsters, I'd keep patting and stroking them to transfer some calm to them. Chef grabbed a lobster and sliced it right down the head to the tail. AND IT GAVE VIOLENT TWITCHES. Like spasms. Ah!!! I actually yelled out loud:( Poor lobster:(

Anyway while each half was still twitching, brain looking things started spewing out. Chef reckons they're intestines because he doesn't believe it has such big brains (each half is about a finger length and thickness) but OMGGGGG FUCKING GROSSSS I'm having goosebumps just talking about it:(

Went for Rproj today! It was good! The quality and ideas were really not bad. But there are some pretty odd ones as well. Like the walking feather duster wtf. What was that?

So many pretty skinny models walking down the runway~ Wish I can be like them! Then I remembered how much I love food. And that I'm working in the kitchen. Hahaha!!

We all start by chopping garlic.

I feel like I'm living in Kitchen Confidential, because I get to see all the stuff that people don't see and learn some tips and tricks to making sure food is awesome and stuff.
And I won't complain that food comes slow in a restaurant anymore. Because everyone is working their motherfucking asses off for you out there, JUST BE PATIENT K.

The other girls at entree (there's only one other guy at entree. The others are at main course) are super nice! Yay:) They will always answer my questions patiently and teach me stuff:) There's this one girl who looks like Felicia Chin, the other looks like Mandi and Joogian wtf scary. The sous chef is hot lol. Went out for drinks with J today! The affensaft (weissbier with mango juice) is so so so good omg love it:):):) Must slowly learn to increase my tolerance for alcohol!

Got to eat many stuff also. Hahaha!! Like white asparagus tail (white asparagus is fucking expensive. $24 for 5 stalks. But of course got caviar and hollandaise sauce and other stuff la, but still) and chocolate truffle balls~

Also, happy vesak day everyone! Today we went to the temple at Jalan Bukit Timah, and i swear it's like entering some temple of doom (no offense, amithabha) because there are so many people holding incense at eye level (wtf people) and smoke is EVERYWHERE. Like it's some hometown of a million smokers or something.
Also, I burnt myself sticking the joss sticks in because the ash fell off :<

Day 4/5

Omg. I don't even remember what I did yesterday.. Oh right, I ate a lot. A LOT. Then went to muaythai feeling really gross lol.

Today was fun<3 met up with Cheryl and went to rollerblade, we're super win la. I first brought her onto the wrong bus, and by the time we realized we were on the wrong track, we were at Queensway:X

Anyway! Finally got off the correct bus stop and we had to walk through an underpass, but alas we ended up in the middle of a hugeass grass patch (!!!) and we had to climb over the short metal road dividers to attempt to cross the road. We could see the sea and all but it was across an expressway.. ARGH! Didn't cross in the end (we could have been dead) but instead thanks to some literal foresight I lead this expedition team to safety~~~

So yes, that concludes the 3h journey from outram park to east coast park. Which is equivalent to taking the mrt from Pasir Ris to Jurong East and back and back to outram park again.

Skating was fun:D Picked up a lot faster compared to the first time yay! I wanna hone some skillz there!
