Last lesson of 2012

I've been pretty busy lately, what with spending Christmas with Bran and working and hanging out with friends that I've spent very little time at home
And I never realized how serious the situation is until two incidents happened recently.

I had a bad sore throat recently after recklessly yelling on Wednesday night, and I ended work prematurely to go home to rest
When I got home I saw my mom about to leave the house
She said she was off to vivo for lunch and everyone else in the family would be there

Somehow.. I felt like I shouldn't be crashing their party.

Which is, in retrospect, really pretty odd because I'm part of the family so by default it's okay, but still..

The second incident was actually during a conversation with Bran.

B: Wow your mom's curry last night, I really really enjoyed it! Did you see she kept taking for me?
Me: Really? I wasn't really looking!
B: Yeah I don't even eat spicy stuff all that much. Where else do you see me eating curry?
Me: My mom's place lor
B: ..you do realize your mom's place is your place right

It's like.. I do it subconsciously. I don't know why I said that. Maybe I really spend too little time at home.

This new year, I know what will be on my New Year Resolution list.

USS Adventure Cove

So last week we went to the new water theme park in uss, and not only am I gonna tell you about me experience, I'll give you tips on how to make the day more enjoyable!!

This post won't have photos because I didn't bring my camera in
The water would have completely annihilated it anyway
They hired really friendly photographers who take epic shots of you coming out of the rides and whatever and sells them to you at 25 a piece, buy 2 get 1 free (OMG! Free! But.. IT'S A TRAP OK)

Anyway it IS like the advertisements, people do walk around in bikinis and swimsuits (well.. I do anyway) and everyone is barefooted! You can't wear footwear for the rides anyway

There are about 4 rides, but some of them have two different tunnels! We retook this particularly one three times because its SO thrilling, we were sitting on the float thing and because we went up and down, my butt freaking LIFTED up OMG

Went snorkeling too!!! The snorkeling pool looked really small but when you're inside it doesn't seem so, also because its deep. The fishes came tantalizingly near.. And I saw a dead dory wtf!!!!! So sad!:(

There was this donut pool which is 12 laps around that circles the waterpark. So literally you can swim from one attraction to another. How freaking cool is that?

You'll pass by the stingray pool and this random catfish and turtle pool!!!!

It's super safe because there's a lifeguard at every turn. Seriously all they need is a stupid fucker to drown and that's it, they're going down. They're defo not gonna risk that!

There is this huge pool which creates artificial waves, it's SO MUCH FUN because you can sit on a donut shapes float and bob up and down ahhhh love it

Now it's time for must brings and tips!!!!

1. Wear something comfortable!!! No one cares if you're wearing a diver suit or triangles. Just be comfortable!
2. If you're afraid to tan, sunblock is a MUST. I didn't use any and I turned out a crispy hash brown. I love it though hehehe most successful tan EVER
3. Travel light! One locker is $10!!!!!
4. Don't pee in the pool please idiots like me accidentally intake pool water all the time

Yup that's about it!!! It's not expensive either, $29 pax it is SUPER WORTH IT I SWEAR. Go have fun!!!!!!! I would totally go again!

Zoukout 2012

Gosh I suddenly realized how long since I last blogged :O oops!!!

Zoukout was quite crazy, it was mad crowded at the beach! Already at 12 there were people getting pissed outside near warehouse because they brought bottles (one of them is you, Daryl) to predrink

Played 7 up with white wine, poor Ben had to keep drinking for his girlfriend becaus she's so bad at the game LOL

Went in and caught a bit of Knife Party! That was the first time since I was 5 to ride on someone's shoulders WHOOOO it was an awesome experience!!! Took some epic photos but didn't get to post them (more later)

ALSO will you believe it I saw my hot muaythai instructor wahahah he was part of the topless model (like anf man) for some bar! He got me 4 drinks for free >D Thanks man!!! Water was $5 a pop z that was ridiculous

Then went around and played some games by Uncle Ringo, then time for the highlight of the day: DJ Calvin Harris! We had to squeeze like crazy to get somewhere near the centre.. And that's where the real head bobbing and hand waving began~

Went out about 4+ because we've got a designated driver.. And I realized. Omfg my phone disappeared. It was lost in the crowd.. Sigh guess it's not zoukout without losing something. Sucks!:( Managed to get a replacement the next day though.. It's a trap la seriously firstly all my information is on iTunes, secondly the telcos don't sell my previous phone (4S) anymore so I had to buy the iPhone 5. Gah!!! It's a trap!!!!!!

Also I bet the 5s will be a lot faster and will come with a longer battery life -.-

I also started my fourth part time job hahahah omg too much. That's a story for another time though!

So.. I was working on a cover, Christina Perri's A Thousand Years for hours on end and.. This was my final product before I had to call it a day (seeing how it was nearly 3am)

Tattooing

This album has caused quite a stir after I posted an album of one of my close friends getting a tattoo

Now that we've gotten that out of the way, I would like to reiterate again that he is one of my closest friends, and we are just that comfortable with each other

I don't even know why I have to explain myself since the person who ought to be bothered isn't even bothered -.-

Moving on

We watched Breaking Dawn Part 1 while waiting for his cousin to finish the tattoo
He's gonna have matching ones with his cousin; the latter behind, and the former in front
I feel like I've done my part as a good friend to tell him that tattooing two flowers on his biceps is not ideal but hey, not my body, if it turns out ugly i'll laugh at him only (yes i told him this)

So yesssss this is what happened while waiting

Ah Hui getting down to it! It's really fascinating because I never really understood how tattoos were done
Oh one main gripe I have about this place is that they just smoke indoors!!!! First thing I did was to look up at the ceiling
Me: Eh.. Just asking ah, aren't there smoke sensors here?
Hui: I don't know, they don't work I think?
D: *looks at me* Eh I thought you didn't wanna ask him? (I asked him the above question but got no answer)
Me: It was a burning question! Wait.. Burning, hur hur, geddit

Obviously my wit and humor once again goes unnoticed

But he was nice about it hahah :)

I kept threatening to tickle him. He is the most ticklish person I know LOL. True friendship sia I had how much self control
