My 17th year has been a very eventful one- like a rollercoaster, going through the highs and the lows, meeting new people, drifting away from some, learning invaluable lessons from life etc. I feel very very blessed to be surrounded by people who I love and love me. Being able to spend my birthday with the people I hold very very dear to my heart woul be a lovely way to start my 18th year of existence(:

I don't know how many of you will see this, but thanks for bearing with me so far and not strangle me, we've been through many challenges together but I know all these has only strengthen the bond that we share. For some whom I have known since sec 1 (<3), it is only last year that I really got to know you as my confidante, and I have never looked back ever since. The others were my friends from only last year but that doesn't mean that I trust you any less. You guys mean so, so much to me<3

And my parents- well, i sincerely hope they don't read this hahaha. I wrote them a 4 page letter:P can't wait to see their faces teehee.

Even a paper hand wants you

MBLM was fun, I attempted to make contact with the XLB makers at Ding Tai Fung! I felt like I was watching some animals in an enclosure. Or maybe it was the other way around, seeing how they kept talking to each other and stealing glances at me (darn those masks - I can't make out what they're saying)


Watch and be watched, like a failed spy

And there was this XLB maker who gestured towards his XLB at me. And when I left they actually waved bye! After dinnering at Ichiban Boshi (it was hard to convince them to eat Jap because I believe in the Singapore system), I walked past the XLB window and they actually nudged each other and pointed their chins at me (since they were busy using their hands to make XLB) and waved!! HAHAH SO KEWT I'm going back again!

You know how they always look like they're making XLB non-stop? It's not true hahaha they spend some time (when no one orders XLB. Is that even possible??) to use dough to cover dough to make fake XLBs (to create illusion of 24/7 demand of XLB, or perhaps to practice their amazing 24-folds skillz)
