Elias and Asher Quotes

  • "That."--Asher pointing to my chest. (We are trying to wean.)
  • "Here is a two for one."--after I asked Elias to hand me a diaper and he handed me a diaper and the Ipod.
  • "When is this baby gonna pop out?"--he asks this a lot lately. I am starting to ask myself this too.
  • "Hi Mom, I am just chillaxing with my best friend horn."-sitting with his new and terribly loud bike horn.
  • "Bock, Bock, Bock a bye baby, I am putting this baby to sleep"-while rubbing my growing belly.
  • "Burn freeze", as in this ice cream is so cold it gave me a burn freeze. One might also get a burn freeze from touching something cold.
  • "Peace out", to his Dad as we were climbing out of the car to go to music class.
  • "I am very upsetting", after his toy was taken away from him for not listening.
  • "I can't eat ham, it bothers my hands", more lunchtime conversation.
  • "I gonna eat Mommy up. Daddy be so angry, he get home and Mommy all chomped up", lunchtime conversation.
  • "I'm scared of babies," while at Target today

  • "You have 6 minutes", after Jenny told him she was going to check email
  • "I go get Diego. He watch himself", while getting his toy Diego to watch the show Diego
  • "Oh, Daddy's seat buckle", talking about my belt
  • "No, penis."--was Elias's answer to whether he had a tail like a dog.
  • "Oh, the back lawn agains!"--while preparing to watch the Backyardigans.
  • "Yeah, you want it?"--to his Uncle Joe after he asked Elias if he was enjoying the peanut butter sandwich his mom was forcing him to eat.
  • "Oh, cars! Elias home."--after walking into a toy aisle in Target.
  • "Hi Obama, how are you doing?"--into a cell phone on the sofa at Jenny's parents' house.
  • "Two old" --after I asked how old Mommy is.
  • "Oh, new oven, nice!" --commenting on our new dishwasher.
