Halloween in PA

Halloween happens on a Wednesday in Huntingdon, PA (it is a Pennsylvania thing). Anyway, we are happy to celebrate Halloween more than once. We are heading down to Baltimore to celebrate with the cousins on Friday.

Here is Elias in his green pillow costume standing next to the Frankenstein pillow that led him to want to be a green pillow.

Elias and his dad prepare to head out into the wintry mix to trick-or-treat or "candy...please" as Elias calls it.

Dress up

Elias was curious what it was like to walk in his father's shoes.

This is Elias's camera smile.

Here is a hint of what Elias is going to look like in his pillow costume for Halloween. It is not Halloween yet, and Elias won't stand still, so we are posting a blurry shot.

House Features

We didn't realize what a great house we were buying. It came complete with an intercom system/penny drop.

Fall in Huntingdon

Here are some pictures from our trip to the pumpkin patch last weekend.
Elias had a great time climbing the hay pile.

Elias was a little tired, but still enjoyed the corn maze.

We tried to capture him on video pretending to look for Uncle Jim, but he was a man on a mission and refused to play along.

He set out to find the perfect pumpkin.

Weight is an important factor.

Ahh, this is it!

Fun Weekend

On Saturday, we ventured back to our old town of Alexandria, PA, to attend the Hartslog Festival. We enjoyed a hot dog lunch at the playground.

On Sunday we drove out to the pumpkin farm, but it was closed, so we decided to go to Elias's favorite "train" playground instead.

Throwing sticks into the river.

Playing king of the "mountain" or pile of dirt.

Climbing up after Mommy.

Avoiding a kiss from Mommy.

Eating animal crackers and watching a train pass by, thus "train" playground.

Enjoying the warm sunshine.
