Walkie Talkie

Weston has been doing lots of fun things these days, he is now walking and can make it across the living room. His other new favorite is to clap, especially when Ashlyn and I sing Paddy Cake! I took the kids to get pictures taken for Weston's 1st Birthday quickly approaching and thought I'd share a few of them (they are pictures of pictures)!

Lake Powell ~ The Cinders (photo summary)

we stayed in a camper for a week, it was fun!

Afternoon nap on the boat, everyone else is cliff jumping! Even I did it...

Ashlyn saw a home video of her cousin Kade wake boarding with his dad and kept telling me she wanted to do that with her dad, so she did! Let's just say she wasn't very happy because she was cold - she also liked facing toward Blake rather than away from him... she did awesome!

Our little fish loved the lake and taking rides on the boat, she rode on the tube with her daddy, charlotte and uncle trent!

We went fishing, Kade caught 3 fish in 5 minutes - I never caught anything! Nice

Heat Wave

Ashlyn has one more swimming lesson left and she has done awesome, the crying stopped after 2 lessons and she is now a little fish- She can now do all sorts of things:

-kick
-big arms
-kinda float on her back
-hold her breath for a long time
-dive off the side of the pool
-jump off diving board
-swim through a hoop in the deep end
-monkey walk along the side
-and get rings off the bottom of the pool

We have also been staying busy going to Kids Club at the mall and going to Bounce U with our cousins! We have to figure out something to do indoors while living in this sweltering heat. We had a busy 4th of July, attending 2 family parties full of food, swimming and fire works! And I didn't take one picture the whole day! We are so blessed to live in this free land.
