Hey guys, shall we make it a point to be accountable for the guests we bring? So eve has the most no. of ppl under her care for follow-up. :) Sorry I changed Kai Ting's name to Katherine - I obviously am no good with chinese names.

As we meet next week and the weeks to come, hopefully there'll be more updates on what you're doing with the respective guests.

I won't be around for next cell. My turn to holiday in M'sia despite having nearly zero funds but I promised Jill to spend the weekend with her. We made that promise a whole half year back, so she took leave for that very purpose... and Enoch might be too tired from eating non-stop at Penang. So someone has to lead the session and I'm sure you can work it out. If you're using Fu-man's place, please - whoever - get the key from me by Thursday ya.

guest cell day

okay, just something brief - from my p.o.v

our own people include pee, liwei, vincent, zr, kenneth, eve, liping, weijuan and myself - that makes 9 of us. I'm not sure exactly who was invited by whom, but wee jin was there along with a big group of people whom I assumed to be Eve's friends.. something about them being all from ctss... then there was Wei Juan's colleagues. Hmm.. maybe I'm not the best person to share more about them since I arrived late, and I really don't know who was whose guest?

Erm.. dunno the names.. Sharry, Lawrence, Linda, Margaret(?), Nick... some guy who likes cycling... was there a Katherine? Okay. I tried :P There was at least 20 people (incl ourselves)

I managed to get Jill to come - usually she won't be free because she's usually always with her boyfriend but lately he's been busy with NDP so she's dead free. Since she's my guest... just to share in case some don't know, I brought her to church many times before. She comes from a Christian family, participated in Salvation army activities as a child (like christmas plays and stuff) but she isn't Christian. Only her youngest bro follows their parents to church and I see that would likely change soon enough... he's probably not going to continue following them as well.

Back to the event... we ate ate ate... then had ice breakers. As usual, the Pee kinda treatment. Perhaps a little long for an ice breaker, so much so I forgot the earlier ones after all the excitement in doing that explicit finger thing. But fun nonetheless... just works better as a game rather than an ice breaker - not Pee's fault but rather, it was a big turn out.

Then we had games - another Pee's style charades. Really funny and got everyone more warmed up. It took awhile to end and beforelong we were all seated facing Pee, who was sharing the various greek words that refer to love. Stergo, philo, eros and agape - stating that our cell grp came together share and learn more about this agape love.

There was this silence in the room while everyone just gazed at Pee...

Then we had strudel and ice cream. Some continued with mindtrap, some left... the day was about done. After some grueling mindtrap, everyone left except zr, me and jill who waited till near 1am for jill's bf to come pick us.

And the day was done.

Thanks Pee for hosting us and planning the event despite being ill - he was drowsy, man...

PS. For those who brought friends, it would be good to give a little sharing about your individual friends so we could all pray together and do the necessary follow up. Would help people like me who can barely remember their names.... :)

Dont know if you all noticed them the other time that they came for service.
Was asking Jieling to join the Hall CF but she was kinda reluctant. Dont know if they
will be comfortable around somewhat complete strangers.

And I wont be in church on 10 and 17, so Zongren you have to take over guitar playing for 2weeks.

Both parents just arrived in Singapore 2 days ago in hope of treatment for their daughter’s illness.

We are parents of a 2 year-old girl, Vanessa Nicole Lee Lim, diagnosed with aplastic anemia, a blood disorder where her bone marrow fails to produce blood for her body’s normal function.

Because of this, we are in desperate need for DONORS for PLATELETS with A+ BLOODTYPE for the next 9 months. Vanessa needs to be transfused with platelets every 2 days on the average.

For anyone who is so kindhearted and willing to extend help to our daughter, kindly proceed to NUH (National University Hospital), Blood Donation Center, Level 1.
Please inform the staff that you are a donor for VANESSA NICOLE LEE LIM. They will screen your blood and if you pass the test, may we request 1.5 hours of your time for platelet extraction when the need arises. The lifespan of harvested platelets is only 5 days.

Please leave your name and contact number to the staff so that they can contact you for platelet extraction when the need arises. Please also text us your name and contact number so that we have a way to reach you and to thank you.

Donors must be 18-45 years old, at least 52kg, healthy, no history of hepatitis, tuberculosis, or other major illnesses, no HIV, not on long-term medication, must have good veins on the arms for procedure, and must bring an ID or passport during registration.

We will shoulder all screening and platelet extraction expenses. Your body will recover its platelets in 3 days.
