Heya all, thanks for the concern (abt me and mom). Sorry, if you sms/msn me and I didn't reply. I've been quite shaken by the quarrel and have been thinking of nothing less than running away from home - which obviously I won't do. Just really upset. We didn't speak to each other for 2 days until not long ago, when she asked me if I wanted to eat chicken rice.

Thank God.

A part of me says I should have been the one to apologise for shouting first but well, nothing comes easy - so we all know. Anyhow, she gave me a big pack of Yupi Gummies because they contain beef gelatine and apparently, I'm the only one in the house who is allowed to eat them. (Buddhists don't eat beef.)

Another slow-moving, but heavy week with 2 briefs due... along with the burden of a quarrelsome class and the preparation for our grad show. The quarrelsome level rose on Tuesday when one guy stomped off because he didn't agree with the idea of painting the walls of the exhibition venue. Yes, it is childish indeed... but there were nasty comments going around and frustrated in-between-ers like myself.

Anyway, just thought I'd ask that you guys continue to pray for Daniel. For the details, I'll leave them to Zong Ren to fill you in.

Hey guys... I quarelled with my mom today. I think I might have overreacted but I was really fed up. She kept asking me to burn copies of her chanting CDs/VCDs for her but I told her I'm not free. She asked my brother but his computer is down and so she came back to nag at me to help her, but the fact was I didn't want to make any copies of it at all so I told her, I won't do it. She got incredibly angry and stomped off saying that she's not going to bother about anything I do or if I need anything anymore, saying that I refuse to do such a small thing for her. She continued yelling and I got upset, I yelled back, "I'd do anything but burn that for you. I'm not doing it because I don't want you to listen to it."

I don't know what I can do to undo it but my brother came out to ask for the CDs, and he'll try to burn them. I'm really just so horrified by the constant chanting and Buddhist sermons.
