Happy New Year Everyone!
We rang in the new year in style by enjoying the spa, steam room and hot tub on the top floor of the Cliff lodge at Snowbird. It was followed by a Torchlight Parade and Fireworks with free hot chocolate.
The first day of the year was spent in Grizzly Gulch doing some snowshoeing, splitboarding and skiing. I hope everyone was able to get out today and enjoy some fresh air and clear skies for once. It was a beautiful day despite the 9° temp.

We kept it mellow for her first time. Did some beacon hunting, and poked around in the snow a bit. No instabilities noted. The cold dry snow rode a bit slow as many noticed today. It caused us to struggle a little in the flatter sections of Grizzlies. Should have thought ahead and broke out the cold wax.
