had lunch at the Oriental Tea House on chapel st with wanjie, chai and hanting, armaan, zhixuan and shuyu. :) good food! but i was pretty much broke after that haha.

walked around the prahran market for a while after lunch. :) such a nice place! it kind of reminded me of that gourmet food market place in gold coast, the one we kept wanting to walk to but got lazy haha. in the end we rode there on the scooter. ;p though prahran market isn't as upmarket. more like in between that and vic mart.
bought bagels! randomly haha. because i've been wanting to eat a bagel since i was in sg. and wanjie had coffee.
went to glen to dabao egg tarts! ;p after paying for parking and egg tarts, i am completely broke haha.
decided that only 4 things are give-away-able. not that the rest would be of much value to anyone else anyway..
oh! yesterday people asked about my photos and camera. :) and today chai and hanting said they loved my photos! :D yeay.

and my credit card didn't arrive!! :( SO SAD. the vs voucher expires tomorrow. means i have no more hope of using it. unless i borrow someone's credit card. :\ but no. oh wellll.
can we watch the royal wedding instead! :3

downloaded and watched glee. talking to people. wonder why i am always talking to people when i don't really talk to people that much... okay that doesn't really make sense.
no motivation to do work! since it's back to uni tomorrow so i don't have to do any prep. such a nice feeling. and such a nice thought, to be able to wear normal clothes to uni and sit in lectures again. :) hope they aren't too interactive.
and then after that it's lg at ivy's house with yummy food that her mother is cooking. :D and then it's the weekend! yay!
though i really need to write up my CV. :|

went to say bye to the singaporean patient who's being discharged tomorrow. she gave me her contact details (email add, home and hp numbers) and said that we definitely had to catch up before i went back to sg. though she's also planning to go back in july/aug. i wonder how appropriate it is to meet up with her haha. and also how weird it would be.
watched the rest of 30 rock and mad love. then watched some propaganda on youtube. the elections suddenly seem so exciting haha.

credit card didn't arrive today. :( hope it arrives tomorrow haha. otherwise i forfeit my free $10.
will only be back in hospital on weds! interactive lectures tomorrow, practical sim 1 on monday, and MOW/something else on tues.

it was a good day. :) despite my depression and feelings of impending doom haha.
ward round.. wrote most of the notes. translated for the chinese lady. went off for lunch with tat woon and chun hoong, and talked about things like mec liquor and blood. totally immune.
went back to the ward and read some case notes. i give up on trying to get a proper history out of these oldies. then went off at about 3. ;p
got my fluvax in mmc! yay now i feel protected. ;p the lady told me: "you have to stay in the hospital compound for 15 minutes." i said okay, walked out the door and went straight to my car haha.
sent my film for processing at pinewood. $15 for developing and printing. not bad leh actually. though i think the quality of my scanned images is rather lousy haha. which is why i should get a film scanner HMM. oh yeah and no extra charge for same day service! :D
collected it on the way back to mmc. okay actually it was a detour.
CV and interview skills lect. left at about 7.10.. picked yap min up and drove to lygon. got there at like 8? haha. :3 oops. had dinner at papa gino's, which wasn't nice. but then we had freddo's. :)
and min came to draw on the wall haha. and meet char. :) then i sent her back. realised that i've known her for ten years but i've never really talked to her until today haha.
going to upload photos and write up stuff. or maybe not haha. hoping it won't feel too bad sleeping less tonight since friday it's lectures. :)
i had nearly forgotten... interesting way to be reminded though. :|

jells park, where they played captain's ball, ultimate frisbee, and some other weird games. i ate chips, 'cause people think i've lost weight. and froze, because i did no exercise.
dinner at the grand tofu. they were the only ones free enough to accomodate all 17 of us.
did a lot of unnecessary driving today. around the carpark (i went up instead of down and out), tried to go out the back gate of uni (it's closed because it's a holiday), had to detour to sharon's place because i forgot to get my gps from mangyik. -.- need my brain to wake up, school starts tomorrow!

plus it's an even longer day because i'm meeting daniel and yap min for dinner in the city. the city! to think i was going to see how long it was before i went to the city this time haha. am dreading the parking. :x but i want to have freddos haha. :D rocher! yum.
and the film advance thingy on measles has been being weird. :\ not so much tension.. i really hope it's pulling the film along. it'll be so devastating if i take 36 shots and it's like all on one frame. :(
anyway the point of this entry is that school starts tomorrow and it's majorly depressing. yes. on a brighter note, must remember to thank martina for the chocolate bunny! :) though i haven't eaten it yet haha.

picky is uber slow. T.T and the cd drive is scary. wonder if i should get a superdrive. is that what it's even called? hmm.
back from OC and feeling more depressed than ever! work starts again on wednesday and there are no more holidays for the rest of the year ughhhh. just.. really depressing. :( guess the good thing is that i have interactive lectures this friday so it's just weds and thurs in the ward this week.
but OC was good. :) boot camp. pillow talks, cloudy sunrise, cup noodle party, bathing arrangements and all. ;p slowly.. but surely.
scallops were good too. ;p paid for 2 and got 4 haha.
i've only been back about a week, but it really doesn't feel like such a short time. guess it's because it really does feel like home.
don't really like the number 5 that much but it seems to work? wonder if it'll really happen haha.
strangely, for reasons i can't explain, it seems to help.
gradually breaking the news to people who ask individually. or in safe groups. thank you for the love!
oh well. it'll get better i'm sure. :)

shoes with the glued toes
went to hospital, sat in a mdtm in which only one patient was discussed, sat in a paper round, clerked a patient and did an mmse on her, went to see the new patient with the resident, went for grand round, had a mini tute given by the sw2 reg, dropped ali in uni.
my reg gave the resident and i easter chocolate! ;p and there's a huge box of chocolates in the nurse's station.. given by an ex-patient. and there are still chocolate easter eggs in the conference room haha. so much chocolate on the ward.
came home and had dinner/tea and talked to huiru. went to uni for combined lg. four people asked me if i had lost weight. four! :( and one said i looked happy haha. and there was a giant. and people liked the cheesecake. :) and i talked to people i don't usually talk to. :)
sent yean sia and her bf back afterwards, and stopped to pump petrol. the prices have gone up so much since i was last here. :( so reluctant to pump petrol. :( especially since i have to drive longer distances now rawr. half a tank cost $35? and it used to be $20? omg. oh and i forgot which side my tank was so i went to the wrong side haha! how embarrassing.

and it feels like i've come full circle, for some reason. though there are lots of sort of open ends.. it still kind of does.
my head feels tired. will shower and pack and sleep tonight and bake tomorrow. :)

what day is it, and in what month, this clock never seemed so alive. i can't keep up, and i can't back down, i've been losing so much time.
since my mba's itunes kept making it hang, i decided to use picky's itunes instead haha. and guess what song i heard...
one thing a day, whenever i think of it.
so after the bank, grocery shopping, baking, dinner, being creative, and talking... it's suddenly past 11pm. think tomorrow will be a long day, so i should sleep. plus my consultant will be there tomorrow. last day before a holiday! my last holiday... :\
nice thing about the ward: light fm plays in one of the corners. :)
time to send some love! well. it may have to wait, considering it's almost good friday and easter. but still. :)

+ went to dandy for ward round in the morning. wrote notes and said hi to the singaporean lady and did a visual acuity test, then left. ;p
+ lectures in mmc. no cotw though. ended up being a gastro/resp quiz and a rather irrelevant lecture on UGI bleeds.
+ went to uni to get peri peri. :D and went to the bank to bank in money and ask about my credit card. but they needed my visa and passport.
+ so i went home to have lunch and print my visa, then went back and got it sorted out. they said it'll take a week to ten working days.. but because of easter.. don't know when i'll get it. :\ hope it's by the 30th haha. vs. ;p
+ went to get ingredients to bake. :D yay! eggcite. though i couldn't find cake flour. :\

as an accessory!
felt like a 5th year today, for the first time. went around doing things like writing notes during the ward round, doing mmse's, making phone calls, and admitting patients. okay, one patient. there aren't many admissions because people stay for so long.
used my modcloth travel mug today! it really does keep the drink warm much better than the keepcup. :) also drank a cappucino today! not a good one, just the one from the machine in the staff cafeteria. but i guess that sort of coffee suits me better because it's light. ;p nearly fell asleep during the multidisciplinary team meeting this arvo, so i really didn't want to fall asleep during the lect. but chris wright was good as usual, so i didn't fall asleep anyway, ha.
finished at about 5, waited for the two guys and showed them the staff cafeteria, which made david so happy because of the free tea. showed them the new student lounge as well. and met ivy haha.
drove to uni. had "dinner" at the campus centre before the lect. chicken chips! the nice ang moh guy gave me all that was left haha. unlike some of the old giam siap people who always counted 9!
met a lot of people after the lecture. everyone i haven't seen in such a long time haha. and hui ting also. in the end there were too many people so i only dropped ali and yu en back at the halls.
halfway through the lecture i was suddenly distracted by the thought that just 2 days ago we were having church service there.. it was a weird moment.
have cotw and a lecture at mmc tomorrow.. didn't tell the reg/resident about it today so we'll go in the morning and leave early.. and then don't know if i'll come back in the afternoon haha. maybe find out what's happening first. ;p
char's fur is falling out. :( or it has fallen out, anyway. there are lines where black suddenly becomes whitish. :\ how!
someone added me on fb and made a comment about something but i accepted the request before i read the whole msg and now i can't see it anymore! :x wonder what it was. and whether it would be rude to ask haha. considering i only met her once.
scholarship money increased by $375? wonder if it's proportional to our school fees? and why am i still getting this money despite my results? ;p hahaha. am really thankful i did well in college! i will never ever get those kind of results again.
AND IT'S ALREADY NINE OMG. shower, himym, study, sleep. yes, my priorities...

went to mmc for the sh orientation this morning. reactivated my id card and waited for the msian guys to make theirs, then drove them down to dandy. got lockers in the old locker room. then went to the ward.
met the hmo. it was her first day too. went around with her to see some patients, then met the reg, who told me to go have lunch. had lunch with tat, and met cheng khoon and chun hoong there too. went back to w2 for the consultant ward round.. after which the consultant told me i had to do all my modules or else i wouldn't pass haha. i wonder what's happening with my last pia. :\
oh i was asked to do an mmse but the patient only spoke chinese and i didn't dare haha. although i probably could ask most things.. except that i didn't know how to say 'state.' and how to ask her the three-step command. okay i can't remember what else is in an mmse, ha.
drove back on my own. it's nice driving in melbourne again.. :) if only i wasn't so tired haha.
wanted to go to uni to settle the bis stuff but there wasn't time so i decided to just go home and call. they put me on hold for such a long time. but apparently it takes anything between 5 mins to 4 hours to activate the bis. singapore fail. it took more than 3 days for starhub to activate my bis. -.-
oh and the call centre was in india haha. which reminded me of.. outsourced! :D HAHA.
trying to convince myself to cook, but no. at most just indomie haha.
and it's already starting to get dark.. :( so not looking forward to winter. going to become vit d deficient rawr. among other things.

at worst, i feel bad for a while
but then i just smile
flight was delayed because of two people who checked their bags but not their bodies. so they had to find their bags and remove them before we could fly. landed at 6 instead of 5. was actually a good flight, no turbulence at all, but i still didn't manage to sleep much even though i gave in and drugged myself. :( watched The King's Speech, which was good! oh, and 1x hot in cleveland, 2x 30 rock, and 1x something else which i can't remember now.
jean marc picked me up and sent me home. well he dropped himself off at his house and i dropped cedric (?) home and brought myself home. nice driving Skype again. :)
felt like coming home. not in the same way as going back to singapore, but still, like coming home. but i have lived here for most of the last 3 years, so.
my room! i always have to stop at the door to take it in haha. and then of course.. the many things... like the smelly pink cuddle buddy sitting on my floor.
my aunty and uncle cleaned the house when they came.. it's so clean now haha.
showered and went to church. tried really hard to not fall asleep but i was so tired. :\ met nat! :3 didn't dare to carry him. went to clayton for lunch with some of the lg people. :) then dropped people home. takes a while for me to figure out how to get from one place to another. 4 months is a long time.
came home and unpacked. gave up after a while and watched outsourced and community and slept for a few hours. talked to cheryl about lomo cameras. printed stuff for the next rotation. am extremely thankful for my (free) wireless printer/scanner/copier. so much easier and faster than printing stuff at home. but for some reason i can't find my stapler hmm.
swee dropped by to return char! :D she's still as cute. :) though her fur seems thinner.. need to get more food.
my wardrobe is exploding. so is my head. :(
my nose is running and blocked and i have to mouth-breathe ugh. and it's so cold. have to find the perfect balance again.
have to go to 3 at some point to get my bis thing worked out. so now i can only use whatsapp! and some other stuff when i'm home. have to go to the bank too. hope my hours won't be too long.
oh and i think i'm going for OC after all haha.

'cause when a heart breaks no it don't break even
last night in sg omg. <24 hours to go. and i'm so tired. maybe because i slept only 5 hours last night, can't seem to survive on that anymore.
4/5 packed and my luggage weighs 19.7kg. :) i am leaving a lot of stuff behind. but it's only 4 months. :)
apple chips with modern family. siew yoke noodles for lunch with the grandparents. finished my film and went to develop it before the predictable afternoon/evening rain. the usual next day collection.
went home, watched half of the karate kid, had opi's awesome minced pork cheese toast. :D took a nap, then went to west mall to look for queenie's vitamins. couldn't find them. we dropped by btp to collect my sister's photos on the way back cos she developed express. they gave her my preview sheet as well. -.- so weird! but at least i know it's ready so i can go collect it on the way out tomorrow. :)
so hot today, nearly died. but we've got the aircon on now, so. :)

back! and packed. kind of. i'm already leaving a lot of stuff behind and my bag is like full haha. why do i have so much stuff!
went for ward round yesterday morning to get my signatures. the specialist was so annoying, he did the whole ward round in malay and randomly shot me questions. -.- as if i have any idea what was happening. but i didn't really care much since i wouldn't see him anymore haha.
dinner at home, then went to mbs to meet kevin and his friends. coffee bean and the weird water tornado thing. so noisy. went up to the skypark to take photos. so scary. but i think they'll turn out blurry. :( have to finish the rest of my film quickly so i can go develop today and collect tomorrow!
finished my spinner film too. :) was more anticlimax this time because it didn't even spin 360 degrees (ran out of film), and so many people were watching in anticipation haha. but i'm looking forward to the photos! :) sissy is going to help me send it for scanning. :) should learn to make it not spin more than 360 degrees, it's a waste of my film!
sissy bought macs. :) and we had a htht haha. kevin joined in once in a while. took instaxes! how do you even say that right?
realised that i needed to do that (it hasn't been apparent in a while), and thought that i really didn't want to. then i realised that actually it isn't that difficult. though this doesn't apply to all situations, of course.
stayed till about 2, then we cabbed home together. the taxi driver was crazy. he drove so fast and accelerated towards red lights. and he had to brake so hard when going over a hump that his tyres screeched. but we both got home alive, so.
last two days in singapore (for a while), and i suddenly get random food cravings. -.- still thinking about the cheesecake i will bake in melb haha. and i have two packets of apple chips! don't want to bring any food to melb so i won't have to declare..

- stayed in till after lunch today. started watching skins, which i dislike.
- 1. outsourced 2. community 3. big bang theory
- went to the ward and there weren't any doctors around! everyone's on holiday.
- most exciting thing that happened to me today: slipped while going down the stairs to monash house 2/3 in the pouring rain. am thankful that i fell on my butt, and that i only went down a few steps. oh and that i'm young and osteoporosis hasn't set in yet. ;p i have a lot of risk factors haha. so all i'm left with after that ordeal is a sore butt and elbow. not too bad.
- second most exciting thing that happened today: lightning struck somewhere quite near us. we all flinched cos the thunder was so loud. jaiwant thought he was dead. but yes, scary.
- my mother's coming to pick me up tomorrow. :) will go to the ward in the morning at the usual ward round time, the housemen should be there to sign off on my attendance sheet..

- went for dinner at a chinese restaurant with a whole bunch of malaysians, who treated us! and the food was really good too. :D especially the kong bak bao. :D
- found out that david is doing aged care with me in dandy, so i offered him a ride to hospital haha. but we're in different wards, under different regs. why am i always alone! :(
- htht with huiru! :) haven't met up with her properly in >2 years i think.. but she is one of the few people i regularly have hthts with haha. :)

- went to uni to return my overdue book. shouldn't have been so lazy, it cost me rm8! now i'm left with rm44 haha.
- bedside tute with dr anil was a mini feedback session. the guys complained about all the wasted time.
- the case was this chinese guy with acute limb ischaemia. he presented with a 4 day history of paraesthesia and numbness in his foot, and is ending up with an above knee amputation. we all thought it could totally have been avoided. but apparently there's no vascular surgeon in hsa? jaiwant says if he has to go to a public hospital in msia he would rather die.
- still no replies from my supervisor, but i don't care anymore. hope his baby's okay though.
- jaiwant brought us out for laksa and otah for lunch.
- came back and watched Eat Pray Love. :( it made me sad.
- hui ting is bringing us out for dinner tonight! before she flies off to melb tomorrow.
- 4 days till i fly. am hoping to go back to sg on thurs night so i have more time to pack. : which will hopefully mean i am less likely to forget things haha.
- realised that the fluffy leo-cats live in a cage in one of the houses along the road! went to take a photo and they all meowed at me. last night we found a ginger kitten with a tumour, and it wanted to follow us home haha.

- went to the thistle for dinner because it was evan's birthday! it was a buffet dinner for rm49. lucy and i didn't eat all that much but the guys definitely made up for it.
- lucy got little cakes with doraemon, garfield, and some other white thing on them!
- jaiwant's beer cost more than my dinner + cranberry juice.
- finished my hat. :) it's not great but at least it fits better than the first one haha. ;p and it isn't that big either. probably cos i panicked and started shrinking it early haha. so now it's wavy, like a shower cap.
- person replied my email weirdly. i don't know what it means, and what i should do, and whether i get an extension. erm..
- and despite the lyrics, i am not emo-ing. :)

- my supervisor's wife went into labour today so he won't be around for the entire week. -.- i am emailing him my work and hoping he signs everything off, ha.
- felt like crap today so i didn't do much. came back and slept. didn't even feel like eating or watching shows. :O stomach continued to feel weird. nose continued to run. head continued to ache. but i feel better now. :) might dare to eat durian later haha.
- tempted to go home. i know right, this surgery rotation is a joke. my supervisor was away half the time! not even kidding.
- supper with mok on fri! :)
- passing charmie some stuff on fri/sat. there's a flea market on fri and i want to go...

- chopped an inch off my hair in kl and deeply regret it. :(

imagination running wild
- we got to kl in under 4 hours in the loaf of bread! slept most of the way up.
- red mee sua for breakfast. :) best red mee sua in the world!
- found out about aunty karen's 7-month pregnancy. whatttt. but we're going to have a baby girl cousin in mid june! :D though we'll only get to see her at the end of the year.
- went shopping at megamall. topshop sandals. foodcourt lunch. went home after that to rest. father and brother were sick.
- chicken soup. :)
- had dinner at seri penang with uncle peter, aunty eejin, joseph and benjamin. then we went to their house for fruits, as usual.
- the internet thing wasn't working. was supposed to shop at megamall again this morning while the parents grocery shopped, but we ended up having to drive back to top up the mobile broadband thing. it works now though. :)
- also spent 400+rm in the remaining 25 mins haha. :x grad ball dress. ;p ..which means i should graduate this year haha. :x
- went for lunch at some dim sum place, dropped kongkong and mama back in bangsar and started the drive back.
- rained like mad, jb is flooded. wish i was back in sg instead! :(
- this week will be a crazy week. can't wait for it to be over. can't wait to get everything signed off. can't wait for friday and saturday morning. can't wait for easter. ;p
- oh and i brought d42 durian back from kl. :) lucy likes the smell but not the taste. hope the guys don't mind it cos i'm sure the whole fridge smells like it now haha.
- so many 5D lectures i hope i don't forget to go to any of them. kind of miss having lects haha. we have zero in jb.
- am going to miss my iphone the most when i'm driving in melb! since google maps is so slow on the bb. :\ at least my next rotation is in dandy and i already know how to get there..
- passed my film to my sister. hope she develops and collects it! think i won't have the patience to wait till aug for my photos haha. will probably end up developing in melb.. lucy says there's a place in st kilda that should be able to scan my spinner photos. :) it'll definitely be more expensive than even joo ann foh.

still have about 2.5 hours to sleep! ;p but i'm not that sleepy now.
had breakfast at home, just the usual. spent most of the day watching shows and crocheting. went out for lunch with the grandparents and uncle and aunty. dinner at home as well..
drove my uncle's civic to bishan to pick ian up, got lost as usual. but it wasn't too bad considering it was only a small detour and i haven't driven there in ages. drove to town and couldn't find a parking spot at the usual place. didn't know what to do so we swapped places and he dropped me off at ps to buy durian puree.
then he drove to some reservoir, i have no idea where because google maps on the bb is so annoying. the durian puree wasn't as nice though. watched the moon set behind the bright light. climbed up the pagoda thing, which reminded me of the tower in daylesford! but the daylesford one was a lot scarier haha. aeroplane coral.
he drove home and i drove home from there without getting lost! first time ever! okay no i think second time. still felt like an achievement.
parked the car opposite, showered, packed, and dried my hair. time to sleep a little before we leave for kl at 4.30am later. ;p
all in all it reminded me of 2006, which was actually kind of nice, considering.

so hot today zomg. walked home from btp some more haha. think i felt like it cos i slept most of the way home on 174. ;p
had breakfast with my parents at ah mei cafe at the rail mall. they don't have milo, what rubbish. thought the eggs were a bit runny, but i'm picky.
my father saw my big toenails and asked me what happened to them. i said they've been there for 5 weeks and they aren't going away, and he said we have to rule out melanoma. T.T i'll just hope they grow out with the nail. :\ the one on the right side looks weird though. squiggly things.
went home to crochet, then met caleb and kevin at dempsey. had lunch (or brunch, but i can't call it brunch because i had breakfast) at cafe hacienda. the name really doesn't stick. apparently it's under the same management as prive. but prive >>> cafe hacienda. prive's eggs ben is like wow but cafe hacienda's is like ookay. the eggs not nice.
caleb dropped us off at gleneagles, and we took 106 to ps. bought my wool yarn. :) talked about durian puree but didn't get it in the end. walked to cine and caught Rio! :D the baby Blu so cuuuute omg. :D and tracy morgan haha. so tracy jordan. POPCORN. ate so much today. :3
caught 174 and as i said, slept most of the way. ;p stopped at btp to collect kevin's photos and send my sister's for developing. really wanted to develop my spinner and ae-1 rolls as well but they're not done yet! :( more suspense. lost kevin's slip of paper but the guy remembered. i guess not many people develop express eh.
bought apple chips. ;p then walked home. sighhh. 5 scary dogs, arm hair pulling by the fence, breakfasts at fei siong, sitting on a curb comparing legs, the banyan tree. :(

decided to pack up and come home again. ;p so here i am. my supervisor is away till monday, so i declare this week a holiday, yeay.
started crocheting a hat with my leftover mint acrylic/milk yarn. not sure what i'll do when it runs out haha cos there isn't much left.
am glad i won't be around for the renovation work heh.

- nearly died in the heat last night because they closed the living room balcony window and the air couldn't flow through the apartment so there was no breeze. went out to open it but i think someone semi closed it again. :(
- decided to skip ward rounds. besides, if it's some other doctor doing it, it probably wouldn't even be in english. went in for the tute.
- TB lymphadenitis. somehow the tutor still managed to end up talking about his zero-incision surgery (eg. peptic ulcer repair via the vagina, how weird!). talked to evan about late presentations - this patient had the lump in her neck for 4 years and it has been discharging for 9 months but she's only in hospital now.
- went to the chicken rice place for lunch. forgot about the clinical skills tute again. there are only 2 clinical skills tutes in surg and i forgot about both of them. :\ but good thing hui ting reminded me again haha.
- learnt how to do lumbar punctures. need to write that stuff up.
- went to city square.. ended up buying a tshirt and earstuds haha. ;p walked around the whole place and didn't find any shop selling fans. so i went downstairs to ask, and apparently there are no such shops in city square! what a weird mall.
- saw instaxes and am tempted to get one now. the 25, cos it's small. either that, or the modcloth dress haha. kevin keeps trying to help me buy it but it seems that it is not a fate.
- cabbed to giant and bought a fan there. and some random food. but when i came back, there were people outside talking about the electricity! apparently there was a problem with the electricity on our floor. so now my aircon is working again zzz. will probably go back and return the fan.. hopefully my parents can bring me. ;p
- had interesting conversations with 2/3 of the cab drivers who drove me around today haha.
- BUT there was this piece of paper slipped under the door saying something about re-tiling our toilet floors starting 7 april. weird to find out this way considering we're living here.. but so sianz makes me want to go home again.
- this week my motivation for studying is zero. or even worse than zero, i think it's negative.
- we've decided to end my awesome brunch place search in sg this time with our own homemade brunch before i fly. ;p
- am missing all my usual shows like community, glee, himym, and modern family!

- back in jb. my aircon died on me! :( but i thank God for the occasional breeze blowing through the window. :)
- and also that jaiwant was downstairs when i got back! so i could get my bag and all its contents back. :) huge relief.

- went to pick my sister up from school before dinner..
- had an extended family bbq with relatives from opi's side of the family. wasn't too awkward.. was kind of nice, actually. haven't seen them in more than a year. no kids though, except the cousins and their cousin.
- marshmallow annoyance.
- the poor cat was locked in our room the whole time haha.
- my back is lumpy. :( and my face is peeling. and i'm using hemp hand cream for my shoulders haha.

ended up staying in sg for a while longer. my mother's going to send me back after our extended family bbq dinner. :)
went to beauty world to get stuff from shop&save in the morning, and dabaoed macs breakfast for brunch. came home and saw evan's sms saying that our supervisor didn't seem to be around so i didn't need to rush back. ;p but yeah there are tutes tomorrow, so i'll go back tonight.
talked to my aunty and uncle and tata about tioman, then they dropped me off at btp. followed kevin to the pasir panjang post office, then we went to uni to visit rong. she said i was emitting heat. ;p went to collect photos from btp, had banana ice cream from wishbone (it isn't as nice now), then walked over to the green market to get a lift home.
two weeks to go. am looking forward to melb more and more. partly to escape this heat as well. though i have to decide before going back. or not. x keeps trying to simplify everything, but it really doesn't work that way.
decided, then changed my mind. that's what always happens.. and i always end up not knowing what to do.
my legs are aching, i can't walk properly. my hypothenar muscles too, for some weird reason (yesterday it was the thenar muscles). and my shoulders hurt.
by the end of the trip, only lucy had any money left.

taxi from thistle to the jb checkpoint, 170 across to kranji, mrt from kranji to bukit batok, cab home.
have weird rashes on my body. and my shoulders are starting to hurt. sun burn! but my front is still white haha. all the snorkelling. was fun but felt like we could have done a lot more. will stop at that because if not i'll end up bitching.
went for supper with flabs and kevin at hv coffee bean. :) tried not to accelerate too fast while driving the loaf of bread in order to conserve petrol because the car tends to drink it up whenever i drive it. :\ i miss Skype! 2 weeks! ;p
wanted to get the modcloth dress when it was restocked but paypal refused to work. it is not a fate.
oh the cereal crayfish we had on the first night was amazing. the rest of the food pales in comparison. especially the crab. rubbish crab.
in other news, i came to a couple of major realizations this short holiday..
