took 970 to sebas' house, slept on the way. and woke up just before the stop haha. facebooked while he decided what to wear/ did his hair etc. he told his parents not to shake my hand because my cold bug was all over it ha.

drove to dempsey (i really love having friends who drive in singapore. especially now that i have no curfew haha ;p), managed to find HOUSE behind b&j's. my direction sense not so bad after all. ;p

met people, went inside, sat outside, more people came, talked, a bit weird because of the different groups of people. then jason came! surprise. ;p and we went inside.

rong wore sebas' shirt haha boyfriend tee. ;p

a lot of drinking/ drinking games. they kept making caleb drink so he'd get high and dance! poor thing. in the end jason was completely gone. caleb also quite. rong and sebas and kevin kept imitating the way jason dances haha so funny. ;p asian brad pitt. armpits!

sebas was sober enough to drive rong, peiyu and i home. thankfully. he still has a party now haha. overdressed.

i haven't had dinner. but i'm lazy to find food now. so. milk. :) the birthday cake was good though. :)

wanted to upload photos but that's impossible because the camera battery died. see. this is why SD cards are good. i really can't wait for my new camera. !! but i will probably have to wait till melbourne because it's a lot cheaper there. unless they're having a mega sale in malaysia now.

just as well, i have to pack for tomorrow. the taxi comes at 6am to send us across the causeway to senai, then we'll fly to kl from there. i want to get up to shower. which leaves me with about 2.5-3 hours of sleep? haha. very tired though. i'll sleep in the taxi, plane, taxi.

christmas! :D

was woken up by a cold wet nose on my face. the cat! i was afraid he'd pee on me so i opened the door to let him out haha. then snoozed a bit more.

combined service at 10am. saw people i haven't seen in forever! :D and a lot of new faces. the sunday school kids are so cuuuute! :D especially the yellow girl haha. isaac wasn't in the performances cos he's ponned too many sundays.

had lunch at sakae at funan, then went to isetan with army and celeste. didn't get much. transferred money haha finally. i really like the dress. ;p i just hope i still like it in real life.

i am supposed to make apple crumble rawr. :( how come i'm so nua in singapore! i love baking in melbourne. :\

the party starts at 6. haha. maybe i can start making the apple crumble then and avoid the icebreakers. hmmm. it's the CRS party, which means lots of people i don't know.. aunty helen and steph are coming. but i'm leaving halfway..

waiting to find out the dress code. i don't have clothes to wear! the good thing is that my sister and i are the same size. bad thing is that.. we're both always complaining about not having clothes to wear. haha.

and i have to pack for kl tomorrow! and find out the bangsar address. i'm quite looking forward to a bit of escape at the moment. and shopping. :) and of course, chocolate banana cake at half price. :D

christmas eve dinner with the family, and a few random others at aunty joy's house. yummy food. :) watched the nyonya show for the first time.

presents! my cousin got me something. :O i was really surprised.

crap i owe people muffins. :\ i was supposed to bake apple crumble for dinner tonight too but i only found out in the afternoon and really didn't have any mood for it. too nua. so i got scolded at dinner.. and i owe my aunty an apple crumble. and i have to bake one tomorrow for the CRS dinner.

i need to erase this song from my brain.

going to malaysia again the following day. i haven't found out the address oops. have to leave at 5+ in the morning again because daddy is afraid he'll be late for work. second time flying to kl. i hate how the airport is so far from the city. we really should cab instead of making mama and kongkong drive all the way.

my gmail theme (usually some green park scene) is now raining. haha. how hilarious is that? something is tripping the heaters/ aircons. everytime it's reset it works for about 5 secs and then trips again. i can't shower! and my uncle was standing outside trying to open the gate forever. these are the times i really dislike my house. most other times it's okay, even with the gaping hole in the ceiling, cracks all over the walls, weird musty smell (now it just smells like cat), leaking ceilings, and all my belongings disappearing every time i disappear too. but the upside is that my clothes get ironed! ;p even though they mysteriously disappear into my sister's wardrobe.

eeks. must be the rain. just as well, i'm not going out today.


obviously, first times only come once. i remember being so disappointed then although i never told anyone about it.=[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[qw\\\\\\\7 okay bery walked across the keyboard. he's having a hard time navigating around the mess of my table.7- and his estimation isn't very good. his feet keep slipping off. anyway, back to firsts. once it's gone it's gone forever. doesn't even have to be a big thing. no expectations, no disappointments. but they say if you don't expect anything you won't get anything either. ah well. i'll have to leave it for now. the questions never get answered anyway. the cat's sleeping on my bed.

tired! tired tired tired. but i get to sleep early today. :) well. earlyish anyway.

everyone got up before 11 because kevin went around shrieking about their results being released. he counted down the minutes. and recounted his really weird dream to us haha. then they checked their results. hmmm.

finished the crepes, baked pasta and chicken wings from last night. jason left first, then everyone else. went to sebas' house and watched will&grace while the aircon people came to service the aircons. he made us a lychee ice blended drink! :D last year's was nicer though. with the pineapple.

the aircon people made his aircon leak and he got pissed off with them. also because he was sick. i think quite a few of us are. or maybe it's just cat allergies. or a cold. we must have used up an entire box of tissue paper. it's nice having jason around to talk med talk with haha. although he talks about things like prions! haha.

went to town to exchange jason's shorts, met mabel, steffi, linda and joanna in wisma! ;p then i met mabel again in the bus to holland. ;p was supposed to meet yuming and ashley there but they were in the same bus too! ;p

ate at cjlmxlb. :) got to eat xlb yay! after ten months of kevin eating for me haha. ;p it was good catching up with them. :) it's been such a long time it felt like we'd been completely out of touch.

cold storage, ntuc, then cold storage again. i remember doing the same thing last year, or the year before. but at least i got it. and ashley did too. :) it all works out.

was supposed to have breakfast with sebas tomorrow but he thinks he won't be able to wake up so it's off. jason thinks we're secretly dating. :O haha.

i can't believe tomorrow's christmas eve. feels nothing like it.

with the exception of peiyu, reo and alvin, everyone is still sleeping. the other three left earlier i think. i was sleeping too! we slept at about 4ish i think. left jason, reo and alvin downstairs but jason's upstairs too now.

dinner was quite disastrous. ;p rong made salad, caleb made chicken wings, jason made pork belly/ belly pork, alvin brought cookies, and sebas and i made baked pasta. haha. everyone was late! as usual. oh and red and white wine. i think jason drank practically everything there was to drink in the fridge. and isaac joined us. fat!

exchanged christmas presents. ;p haha i still have to get for sebas. jason got us compact mirrors from uk. ;p with a magnifying mirror haha. can spy on people behind. ;p i love the file sissy gave us. :D and the fbts! <3

they were going mad on karaoke party from about 12 to 3+ i think? sebas was high on wine. alvin sang lucky! and we showed him the fb videos hahaha. the touch my body one also then caleb died again haha. so poor thing.

okay before the dinner:

manicure in the morning. quite silly to bring me to do a manicure because i'm so chor lor i'll spoilt it within the first day! which i did, actually. hmm. haha nevermind, i like the colour! ;p

met sebas in town to find presents for people. had lunch at whisk. :) food was alright, fries were yummy. and the decor is niceee. :)

went to find kevin at taka cold storage, got stuff for the dinner. it couldn't compare to the trolley-load of food we got last year haha. ;p

171 home. kevin got scratched by a prawn and the cut kept getting redder. :\ i hope it's nothing. he's very anxious about getting back results today.

meeting ashley and yuming for dinner tonight. :) i pangsehed them last night sorry! :\

every time i'm home and have nothing to do the first thing i'll think of doing is playing with coffee. eeks. we buried him outside yesterday evening, but apart from bubbles and popcorn because the ground was too hard. then isaac put flowers on top of his grave.

i was really happy this evening/ tonight. really happy, until i got home, checked coffee's cage and found the door on the floor of the cage, and of course, no gerbil anywhere to be found. i tell you i could kill that stupid cat.

then i walk upstairs to the dining area because i see bery there. and what is he doing? holding the limp gerbil in his teeth. making stupid growly noises under his breath. refusing to let go even though i hit him and chase him around the house. he brought coffee downstairs. in the end i lifted him up by the scruff of his neck and dropped him far away. then picked coffee up.

what am i supposed to say. what are you supposed to say.


but putting that aside. because i had a good night, i will blog about it. no photos yet because my mum's camera is a sony and i don't have the ms reader/ cable.

starting from the beginning.

woken up by isaac, went to ridout macs for breakfast with the family before visiting coos. forgetting what is past and straining towards what is ahead..

met lois' brother nicholas while trying to find the multi-storey carpark after. went home, had lunch, and went to cine. daddy got his ipod touch, and we had gloria jeans. then we went to paragon. then they dropped me off at bugis before going home.

i collected my stuff and walked around, then went to clarke quay. sat and read a bit more of cannery row, then met the people. it's been eight years. i thought it'd be weird. i never even talked to most of them in primary school. but surprisingly there weren't really any awkward silences. it's quite amazing what the ten of us could remember from eight years ago.

the topic of conversation revolved mainly around people who weren't around. d, s, p, and of course mrs kong. only when annamae came did we find out that she passed away recently. :\ we'd been recounting how she drew the tadpoles in her eyes, and jason refusing to budge from his seat, ch and eugene insisting that yx doesn't exist, the never-ending feud between frederick and paul, doing projects in annamae's house, exploring kathryn's huge house, eating at lois' house with the red seats, mrs kong making eugene and yp stand in front of the class and poke each other, throwing exercise books into the dustbin/ out of the corridor, scolding lois and i about mental sums, playing card games in the library after psle, who was sitting next to who, who was register number what.

jason, eugene, joel, frederick, chinghow, lois, rong, celina, annamae, me. :) i really couldn't recognise frederick. or fat egg, as we used to call him. valerie, sherlyn sim and sherlyn sam backed out in the end. cheryl couldn't make it to complete our dutch blitz gang.

we had dinner at waraku at the central, then azabu sabo icecream, then drinks at brewerkz. then annamae sent rong and i to holland, lois home, and joel home as well. took 75 and got home at about 12.15 i think.

it was really nice, meeting up with them again. we're supposed to have another gathering on the tenth anniversary, but jason refuses to organise it again.



i am really upset.


i've been back for a week. or rather, away from melbourne for a week. what do i miss?





so sebas picked me up at about 10.30 and we went to kap to eat/ talk/ do absolutely nothing. it's cool to have friends who drive in singapore! haha. i'm going to be the last person to ever learn to drive, seriously.

left kap at about 12.20, he wanted to get anti-histamines for me but obviously he couldn't. drove home and played/ watched bery and tuna for a while. bery tried to eat coffee again. i think he does that a lot when no one's watching. which is probably quite often because no one even cares about coffee. :(

then he left at about 1. haha. church tomorrow at 10.30, i have to sleep! too bad i won't get to see huiru there. :( sebas contemplated going with us then decided to go to his paya lebar side. haha it reminded me of the sunday morning macs breakfasts and all trooping to church together. ;p we haven't met for breakfast yet!

i live out of my suitcase during the holidays. i know that isn't normal. it's quite irritating because i like to throw my stuff everywhere. clothes especially. but now there is really no space to throw anything and i always have to put everything back/ on my suitcase. grr. oh well. i'm still thankful that i don't have to live in my parents' room at least.

peiyu is making aglio (uglio, sebas says) olio, and rong! he asks you to make pbc. :D actually you were supposed to make salad right. i can do the pbc if you want salad haha. ;p i wanted him to make cream of mushroom soup but he said the stock would take one day to make so there's no time. :( so he's making deep fried prawns in salted egg. :D yay! i don't know what to make though. if i'm not making pbc that is.

woke up at like 8, 11 and then 2+!! haha. oops. but i guess that's normal considering the 40 hours before. was wondering what to do for lunch so i went upstairs to see who was around, my sister was still in bed! though i didn't know if she'd eaten. she said army was supposed to be back at 3+ but she isn't back yet.

went downstairs and bery accompanied me for lunch/ breakfast. he kept either rubbing herself on my legs or jumping up onto the table to try and eat my noodles. in the end i gave him a grape to play with so he'd get off the table. then he climbed all over my bed. thankfully he doesn't go out of the house.

funan with the family to collect daddy's mini laptop thing. then cafe cartel at raffles city for dinner. walked around a bit but people were sick so we came back. checked out old clothes and the old cupboard with all the sylvanian family houses on the top. found my old drink bottle collection in there, and also the jug i made in sec 2 which may painted. :)

waiting for the frog to finish his run/shower and call. he's back from hk a day early and he wants to sit around and do absolutely nothing. but there's church tomorrow so we can't be out till too late and i hope he hurries up!

sometimes i wish fb let you dl the unresized versions of the photos. but then again that would be so impersonal. besides letting you kope pics of the random people you fb-stalk! haha.

baby picky

went to meet zepeng sam joel zhilin and liz for lunch at wisma. met xinfang at orchard mrt too! :D after lunch we went to cine to bowl, supposedly, but there wasn't a bowling alley. so we ended up watching igor instead. wanjie and eugene joined us. :) and i met celina there too! haha. i hope she goes for the reunion on sunday.

took the train to harbourfront after that. walked around vivo for a bit (and plastered my feet), then sat on the mrt station floor waiting for the rest to appear. mabel john tiffany. we walked around vivo a bit more, then rong and william joined us. then we went to marche and cheewei and grace joined us. then after we started eating, edwin came. then towards the end, yurong, shuzhen and zhiyao came too. :)

oh rong wore my shoes for the duration of the dinner haha. saved my feet. ;p even though i still think the shoes are pretty! haha. thank you! ;p

we started talking about relationships and getting married and God and it led to a heated discussion which lasted more than an hour. couldn't count how many times the lady came to try and clear our empty plates. was sitting at the end so i couldn't hear everything. it was quite interesting though. although everyone has to come to their own conclusion. edwin says he'll get married in 2015 and tiffany will tell him "i told you so!" photos on fb soon hopefully! :)

took 61 back with yurong and rong because edwin disappeared. wasn't sleepy at first, but after i sat down i started nodding off. ;p haha. i've been awake since 8.30am two mornings before, except for maybe 2 hours. which means.. about 40 hours. i think. might not be, i wouldn't trust my brain right now. very, very tired.

going to sleep. :) without setting alarm. :) i wonder what will happen tomorrow.


the sun rose without me realising it - when i turned around it was already bright out! :( caleb woke up but went back to sleep, so i left while everyone was still sleeping. left the door unlocked, i hope everything's okay.

came back and showered. going to leave for town soon. i think i slept about one or two hours max so don't kill me if i keep yawning later! i usually yawn a lot anyway. so. i hope i won't die halfway later haha.


are we talking about the same thing

so i'm sitting in front of kevin's macbook pro, flabs and jason are in the other room sleeping, kevin is asleep on the couch in the living room and rong is asleep behind me on kevin's bed. kevin's aunty doesn't know we're in the house, but the family's away.

it took more than an hour to get here. which isn't actually that long by melbourne standards. met rong on 48 haha.

facebooked and bridged and youtubed (a lot). then, as usual, we ordered macs delivery and listened to jason talk while we ate. slept a bit while they played bridge/ youtubed, then when everyone else started getting sleepy i decided not to sleep anymore because i want to go home to shower before going out for lunch. i am nuts; i'm going to be dead tired by the time we meet the other people. haha. nevermind.

going to continue reading rong's magazine, facebook, and watch the sunrise (hopefully). the sun rises in the east after all. :)

thought about continuing where i left off, but i think i'll wait till later for that.

coming back to singapore always feels like doors being opened. it always feels like a much bigger world than melbourne, with so many other things competing for your time and attention even though we don't have to study while we're here. snatch me away please.

it never made me wonder the way it's making me wonder now. then again, it's completely different. i shall attempt to not care.

i find that when i come back i'm extremely intolerant to the hot, humid air, and the aircon in shopping malls. which is kind of terrible, since it's usually either/or.

what keeps me alive in singapore.

the family holiday in penang was a typical family holiday. a lot of time spent eating and waiting. penang food was really good though. and daddy was going crazy about the ckt and har mee. shopping, eating, movie. lots of car (and the Saviour King) time too.

i'm really worried about her.

having the two cats around means church and wyn can't stay here anymore. i'd rather trade the cats for them any day. okay lah bery isn't bad. he's quite nice actually. tuna is quite scary. i don't like him.

coffee looks like a gerbil now, as in he's big and his face has puffed out. he looks weird. my sister thinks he's dying of old age, but his face looks young. his fur is quite terrible. but he's nowhere near as stinky as the mice. ;p and he still doesn't bite, but his sense of balance isn't as good. still cute though, and i still love him. :)

thank you everyone who went to pick me up at the airport, for the tea party games and home-made tiramisu, for the late-night conversation till like 3+ in the morning? haha. i fell asleep with the light on for about an hour before being woken up to go to penang. ;p

results are out! i have to say i'm quite amazed. :D so are my parents. hee. thank You God. :)

i regret not bring more storybooks back from melbourne. but then again i have my 3 other books to read. hmm.

eeks. i miss my friends too.

i can't believe i missed kayaking. ;_;

my wake up call came with breakfast! :D


poached eggs on slices of the bread we baked yesterday. :) we didn't let it rise enough so it was a bit more like cake than like bread.. more crumbly. but there's still something about eating your own homemade bread yeah? ;p thank you!

washed the mouse cage. and to spare ivy/ swee/ rachel the agony of having to clean the mouse toilet (the wheel), i closed it off so they can't go in. less exercise, but well i think it's better like that haha.

anyway while i was washing/ drying the cage i left the mice in a cardboard box. then i went to bathe. and when i came out, two of them were missing! haha. big day out for the mice. i found one (either cornflakes or horlicks) and returned it to the box, but i didn't bother to check which was still missing because the guys were here already.

went for lunch with joab, jason and pangwu, just because i won't be seeing them in a while. and they asked, of course. haha. pangwu and i didn't eat in the end. bye dude!

came back and miraculously managed to find the two mice which were running free. ;p quickly put them in the box again but dandenong was too excited about being out for that long (and free to explore on her own) that she just kept escaping/ running. when i put her on my shoulder she was on the ground again in less than 30 seconds. i was sitting down of course.

so i dried the cage and dumped all of them inside haha. too bad. no more exploring. too many things in my living room now for that! i think it was quite amazing that i could find them in the first place. haha. ;p if you've seen my living room recently you'll know what i mean.

more laundry, more packing, more eating, more talking. then chean ying, nooi hoay and john came over to put more stuff and pass me kaiwen's ipod to bring home. nooi hoay was so fascinated with the mice haha.

tea party on saturday. :D i will be so glad to be home with seven again.

i was sorting out stuff for the singapore wallet. it never fails to surprise me whenever i see singapore money for the first time in a while, how small the coins are. then i get nervous about the first time i will use my atm card again. haha. when i finally do you'll see me thinking very hard in case i forget the pin number and enter the aust one. haha. ;p and i'm always so happy to see singapore money. ;p it happens every time! even though i've been here 3 years haha.

i'm someone who's particular about detail most of the time. and so it always amazes me when i forget something and how by right it should all be messed up, but somehow things fall into place and there isn't any trouble. :) it reminds me that He's in control. :)

oh btw, i think my camera's recovering. :) i know that if i want a new camera i shouldn't be happy, but i am! so.. i suppose i won't need a new one, yet, after all. :)

cake baking in the oven, eggs in the stomach, noodles cooking on the stove, and washing machine hard at work. at 1+am! haha. my body clock is topsy turvy again, this is what sbing does to you. ;p those who've tried it will testify.

i got up at 12. :O omg. haha. was supposed to get up at 10.

we baked bread today! wholemeal raisin oat bread. :D i haven't tried it though. i hear it's tasteless. ish. :( it took so long to rise too. hmm.

made it in time to catch a few photos with the graduates - chiann joab steven. :) a ladybug landed on my hand! :D i think jean marc managed to get a photo of it. ;p

rushed off with steph and ada to find ivy and rachel. drove to caulfield, then took the train to melbourne central. found our way to the place with the help of eleanor. :)

shekinah workshop. i remember the lead actress in the unseen musical was called shekinah.

when i saw the first activity (acting), i was like omg what did i get myself into! but then it was quite fun haha. they mixed us with the city centre people so we got to work with new people which was good. steph was in my group haha. i think we're very similar in some ways.

walked home from the bus loop with jean (he was going to the halls to use dc++). he was in a hurry so he asked me to cycle while he ran. ;p the seat was too high! but i managed to get up. haha. and i hadn't cycled in a year so i really couldn't make it. but i didn't crash okay! only screamed a few times haha. i think he was quite afraid that i would hurt myself.

but no i got home safely. :) was so fun to cycle again though. :D thanks jean!

i will wait until tomorrow to put my clothes in the dryer. i've cleared the paper mess on the floor of my room, and i've quarter-packed my bag. i looked under my printer and remembered my promise to sort out my notes before i flew home. :X it would be quite a nightmare to have to do it when i get back. sigh.

my ears are complaining that i've been wearing the specs for too long. meaning i have to sleep soon. but before i do.. photos from yesterday and today! :D

have to remember to take care of all the things i need to before i go. which mean the mice, laundry, delivering yuwan's cards.. can't remember what else. i think there's too much to do and i can't take on anything new.

i think guys are a completely different breed from girls. and sometimes i wonder what we have in common.

often when we say we dont have that kind of time or the energy, we really mean we dont have that kind of love.

i'm exhausted and the floor of my room is, once again, a huge mess. but i'm happy enough with what i've done.

more than one person has said i seem happier now. haha i remember when joel thought i was depressed.

was really hoping for the frog to come online and keep me alive the past 2 hours but nooo he was nowhere to be found. haha. nevermind he's driving on saturday. :D i think what i miss most about the j1 late night/ early morning phone conversations is when he'd play the guitar and sing either old old christian songs, or try out new songs he'd written. ;p haha. so much better than the bitching part can. ;p

i told pangwu we were stopping to have lunch in ipoh and he told me where to go and eat. ;p i told him i'd take photos and tag him on fb. ;p haha.

my parents have decided to come during easter next year instead of the beginning of the year. which means i'll only see them for a few days since i'll be at OC. haha. but they say it's okay, they'll have more time to visit other people. besides i'll be going back in june.

thought about not going home in june next year. but then while i was talking to army just now she reminded me of the myanmar trip and mobile clinics. i'd forgotten about that. so yes, i'll be going home. :) might come back a bit earlier though. don't know yet.

went to clayton for the second time today.. hm. going to wash up (rubber gloves again) and then walk to wellington.

i don't really mind being home alone i think. although i've only experienced it for a couple of times. first was when wanz moved out and linfang hadn't moved into the apartment in toab, and the other time would be when yuwan was away at bairnsdale i think.

the postcard finally arrived yesterday. :)

i can't help but remember that today's the day between further assessments. can't remember which was yesterday and which will be tomorrow, but. i am so thankful that i'm not stressing out over it now. :)

i was supposed to eat the tomato.. and so i did. although i said i wouldn't. yuwan will be proud of me!! ;p if she ever sees this. haha.

it's difficult to take photos with a camera when the screen isn't working and it doesn't have a viewfinder. hmm. quick, new camera! ;p

i wish everyday's weather was like friday's! i want to go somewhere and sit. but it's cold. well it looks cold. the little patch of sky i can see from my bed is grey and clouded over.

i think for a few weeks i lost my ability to feel. thinking back it's really quite scary.

christina said that when we're here we feel nervous about going back, and when we're home we feel nervous about coming back here. it's all the unknowns, how things change every time we disappear for a while, how the norms are different.

taylors was one year of my life no one knows much about, except maybe one in the second half of it. it wasn't much anyway. full of school and studying, i can never understand how i managed to study that much of the day, every day except sunday. okay that's all i'm going to say about it. i miss people i used to mug with though. and how we'd move from the college library to the state library, and caulfield library sometimes. i miss some things about living in the heart of the city, but not that much. i spent quite a lot of time in the city last year also anyway haha. one of the most interesting things that happened to me that year was probably fainting in class, and having my parents find out from notes my s51 wrote to me haha. oops. thankfully there hasn't been a repeat.

my shoulder ache is back and christina isn't living under the same roof anymore. :( it feels like everyone's been gone forever! heh.

the great divide.

i think it's a really great blessing to be able to make someone's day. :) haha this is quite delayed i know. but i know how it feels, especially at the end of a sucky day. :\

and another delayed message to someone unlikely (who doesn't read my blog): i'm so glad you're going on to second year! :D


like i said, we went to climb the thousand (actually only 730+) steps today. went to michael's house in the morning, then the 16 of us divided ourselves into 4 cars and drove to mt dandenong/ ferntree gully/ whatever.

we were all tired by the time we reached the bottom of the steps. and by the time we were a few hundred steps into it all of us were dying. haha. kept stopping to take pictures and sit on the benches. ;p

got to the top (of the steps) and had our picnic lunch there. :) took photos of all of us sweating like pigs. so unglam. haha. pringles cap frisbee. we actually wanted to have lunch on the grass patch, but it was too long. i was wearing havis and couldn't go down the gravel slope and steven just left me there. !! and everyone was laughing but then in the end (after a tormenting minute) michael and jason came to my rescue. steven walked in front in case i fell down. haha. thank you. ;p

walked back down the stairs, it was so much easier than going up haha. met ian song near the bottom and took more photos. then went to knox city to bowl.

most of the girls didn't play; rachel was the only one. it was quite fun watching them. ;p pangwu lost in the end and has to wash cars i think! haha. ;p too stressed already.

left early with joab to go for setup, which was early today. he made me run across the entire knox city to the car! after the 730+ steps, i was going to get a heart attack lah. tachycardia, palpitations, and exertional dyspnoea! hur hur.

drove around after setup trying to find a place to eat. there were like 18? of us. so it was quite difficult to find a place. we ended up at walrus in springvale. yummy food. :D hee.

ian is back. :)

i am too tired i am going to sleep. stop thinking lah stop thinking.

this time next week i'll be in singapore! :D

i didn't know this until today! okay maybe i did. i think they told us before. but i forgot. then today mary saw it in my notebook when soph asked what it was. and she told me it meant good news. :)

my house is full of other peoples' stuff. i'm actually quite glad my parents aren't coming over at the beginning of next year, i think they will just faint. i think i will start a lost and found box for the random things/ clothes that have been left behind.

yus took my house key with her. my house keys have a knack of disappearing/ running away. first the spare key, then yuwan's key, and now yus' key. grr.

there's a lot of space in my room now.

went for cg! okay, lifegroup. it was a very random mix of people because they had to shuffle it again so everyone who didn't go for pastor's session was there. met new people, had fun, was in demand for "i haven't had a haircut in the last 6 months" and "i update my blog/ diary at least twice a week" and "i don't like vegetables". haha.

got up at 7.10, and left home at 8.20 ish. went to the airport with joab, yus and steph. jam/ scream/ dead animals/ unpacking and repacking/ breakfast/ goodbyes. i never knew we could go into the domestic departure place. not that we did.

sent her extra bag to her cousin's place, and steph home, and then me home.

spent most of the rest of the day housewife-ing: grocery shopping, baking, cooking, washing. haha. i cannot believe this is my ambition. okay no. part of my ambition.

i want to hear about the surprise they tried to spring on sebas. ;D wish i had been there grr. i keep being reminded that i could actually have been there (army asked if i wanted to go back earlier since i didn't have to do supps). but no. i have a week left! it's a good thing though, in other ways. all the farewells and birthday parties and post-exam stuff. :)

and i suppose our not going to phuket was a blessing in disguise? if you can call it that.

yuwan is cooking kangkong and mince. and then we're going off to cg and joel's farewell. why are we the only two left!

so we went to uni to find joel to take photos with him, but we were late so we ended up running to wellington instead, where anto was taking professional pics of dr joel yong and his family.

when he was done, and left, we pounced on his set and started taking our own photos. ;p

this is the ah ma photo! yuwan is the ah ma, and ian song and i are the grandchildren. ;p (yes you really cannot believe he's 26.) i am taller than him!! ;D
then we went for dinner with joel's family at imperial kingdom. yummy food. :D crab noodle!! haha. oops. thank you uncle and aunty! :)

steph is staying over again (i found out that the person sleeping in my room was her). she is quite amazing. and we have been gossip girling again!

the conversation i had with sebas yesterday was quite interesting:

sebas: but that's so normal!
(bear in mind that steph is right beside me and can hear everything he is saying. but of course she is nice and laughs it off. ;p)

was looking at photos this afternoon, and because i really had nothing to do, i went to the fmss site and looked at photos from there too. for some reason i can't kope them off though. which is sad because i want my photo with fan. she turns 16 soon! so old already. can't believe it was like 4 years ago. really miss khaodee. also looked at photos of the buskathon/ street festival and looked at the video again.. haha. ;p

the photos had the effect of making me really want to be home. i miss my guys and girls! :( especially now that the guys have finally ORD-ed and have the time! 9 days before i can have supper with seven/ nine, and 14 days before i can semi-properly live in singapore again.

i must have made like twenty unanswered phone calls in the past 2 days.

i want a new skin.

oh and i hit joab today. :O i told him it was because his sheep has been abusing me haha. oops. and also because he is giving us stressful projects to do.

might attempt to sleep at a more normal time tonight. and have a more normal day tomorrow.

i know, it isn't normal to get home at 4.21am in the morning. but i'm still happy. :)

after i showered, yuwan and yus came back, and steph was there as well. steph and i gossip girl-ed (3+ episodes), then i skyped with sebas for hours. got to meet buddy, who looks cute, but can't beat shep. ;p sebas met everyone and was severely traumatised by yus.

then michael, steven and danny came over for dinner. cheese baked rice! :D which michael has owed me for a year now. ;p haha. it was v yummy. :D we couldn't finish the wine though. eeks. but i love the bottle! ;p

after dinner (and writing on the wall), they went home and steven brought me to glen to meet the others for karaoke! haha. okay i am a mountain tortoise. everyone was asking me to sing into the mic but jason and celine protected me. ;p then jason, rachel and tingting left at about 12. the poor have-to-work-tomorrow people.

celine knows a lot of songs. wanru and lionel sing well. pangwu can sustain a high pitch. steven likes to belt out the lyrics (so does jason). and he whacked me lah wah lao. but nevermind i owe him money.

i don't know who the person sleeping on the air mattress in my room is. okay i know she isn't yus. but her face is covered. and i don't know if steph stayed over (i'm lazy to go out and look at the shoes). anyway. i shall go sleep now and see what time i can get up. ;p

joel's graduating!


stay-at-home days are terrible! i feel so sluggish and lazy. so nuah. ewwww.

so last night i talked to celine until late and then fell asleep while she had to take another call.. with picky at the foot of my bed. and my bag, and camera as well. but of course the most important thing would be picky. i almost got a heart attack thinking i might have kicked it off the bed. :X

can't remember when i finally got up to put it back on the table, probably after christina came in to say bye. had a terrible neckache and arm ache from sleeping in a weird position for like six hours! :( anyway then i continued sleeping until 11ish.

did stuff and wanjie made lunch after washing her car. :) then we went to roberts hall to wait for the dandenong shuttle. her bags were so heavy and we were both struggling and people laughed at us. haha. one nice guy wanted to help with his car haha but wanjie said no. so the bus came and she went off.

and then there were three.

helped joab create an event because he doesn't know how.. ;p haha. steven's/ celine's farewell! although celine doesn't want a farewell. hmm. going to shower now before i just die of nuahness. maybe i should go out for a walk! heh.

got up at about 10? i think. can't remember. did random things, then showered and steven picked me up with wanru, steph and shaun to go to new royal garden for yumcha. :)

met jason and pangwu there. we started eating first, then celine, lionel, yus, mei and andrew joined us at a different table. had yummy food. :) i insist that i never promised steven a ps3. mango pudding and tau foo fa, but the tff wasn't as good as calvin's. no more of calvin's tff until next year! :( haha.

steven drove us home, supposedly. but he happily drove past rusden before realising it, so we sent wanru home, then went to his house to watch gossip girl. haha. okay only steph and i. pangwu watched soccer and steven has his power nap. don't like gossip girls though. prefer my grey's anatomy, heroes, desperate housewives, prison break.. ahh. haven't watched all those in forever.

anyway. then he sent pangwu, steph and i to glen to watch movie with celine, andrew, and yus. had bubble tea before the movie, and played photo hunt. (pokyea!) we were supposed to watch quarantine but ended up watching big stan instead. quite funny lah i think. considering the last movie i watched i fell asleep twenty times..

went home with pangwu, but we stupidly took the 742 in the wrong direction! haha. but we asked early on and crossed over to take the 737 in the opposite direction.

came back and had dinner with the rest. :) wanjie and christina cooked! :D they're flying off tomorrow. :(

they're going to have movie marathon tonight! elizabeth, rent, and hairspray. yuwan wants to watch enchanted but i doubt they will. i'll watch rent and hairspray, but i'll skip elizabeth. i can still remember when kanesh dragged me to watch it with him alone! hahaha. i promised i'd meet up with him this holiday. wonder when it'll happen.

i think i have to start finding my house keys and singapore money and that kind of stuff. not to mention my eticket. haha. oops. i have a knack of losing important things. i only just got back from sydney a week ago and i already don't know where i put my passport.. thankfully i don't keep my singapore sim card. ;p

when i get home i'm going to play with coffee. :D:D:D and then the cats, if they're awake and friendly. army says tuna doesn't bite/ scratch anymore because he has to compete with bery, and they're good friends and sharing the litter box now. the humans will probably only see me in the morning because they will probably be sleeping by the time i get back. so i'll make do with the animals first. ;p i can already imagine myself at home. i'm glad that i'll get to sleep in my old room this time though. at least for a while. can still remember how it feels to be sitting on the floor in jib's room, using picky while the aircon barely works enough to ventilate the room. heh. but yes i'm happy to be going home sooooon. :D although i'm worried about certain things. well let's shelve that for the moment. movies soon. :D

oh oh i forgot to say yesterday! summer is here! :D but the weather's still crappy. :\ i read in tuesdays with morrie (i think) that in some places the weather changes drastically from season to season. how come melbourne isn't like that!

i wonder what time is considered an unreasonable time to call. like because we've been having parties the last couple of nights, and we get home at 11+, is that unreasonable? i don't dare to call. i'm thankful for the time difference now though, so i could call tata after the party ended and still be calling at a reasonable time in bali. :)

sleepy! my fingers are starting to itch in that irritating eczema way, sometimes i think i'd rather have stuck with the asthma. :\
