MAY 28TH, 2008 RON RETURNS HOME
THE NIGHT BEFORE MY REALLY GREAT FRIEND KELLI CAME OVER TO HELP MAKE THE WELCOME HOME SIGN. IT TOOK US 2 1/2 HOURS, LOTS OF PAINT AND CLEANER. WE HAD PAINT ON US, THE TABLE, THE FLOOR, AND THE WALLS. BUT IN THE END WE HAD A MASTERPIECE TO SHOW ALL IN OUR APARTMENT COMPLEX.
THE NEXT DAY I WENT TO WORK RUNNING AROUND LIKE A CHICKEN WITH IT'S HEAD CUT OFF. I WENT TO THE MORNING MEETING WAITING AND WAITING FOR IT TO END TO GO PICK UP MY IN-LAWS. IT WAS FINALLY OVER I RAN AROUND THE BUILDING TO TALK TO MY LADIES, SO THEY KNEW WHAT WAS GOING ON WITH THE DAY.
I PICKED UP MY IN-LAWS AND CALLED MY BROTHER IN-LAW TO LET HIM KNOW WHERE TO GO. WE ARRIVED ABOUT 45 MINUTES BEFORE HIS PLANE LANDED.
AS I SAW HIS PLANE COME AROUND THE CORNER I WAS BECOMING MORE AND MORE GIDDY, AND I COULDN'T BELEIVE THE DAY WAS HERE!!! HE WAS COMING HOME.
RON EVEN CALLED TELLING ME HE HAD LANDED AND I KNOW EVERYTHING ABOUT ME WAS SMILING. I WAS SO EXCITED I WAS BOUNCING UP AND DOWN WATCHING FOR HIM TO WALK DOWN THE STAIRS OF THE PLANE.
I FINALLY SAW HIM AND I RUSHED OVER TO THE AREA WHERE I COULD GET A HOLD OF HIM. HIS BROTHER FOUND HIM FIRST. BUT AS SOON AS I GOT TO HIM I HUGGED AND KISSED HIM I DIDNT WANT TO LET GO.
SO, NOW HE IS HOME FOR AT LEAST 3-4 YEARS. BUT HE ONLY HAS 4 MORE YEARS LEFT, SO, LETS HOPE HE DOESNT GO BACK.

I THANK ALL MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS WHO SUPPORTED US THROUGH EVERYTHING. IT WASNT EASY AND AT TIMES I KNOW I WAS UNBEARABLE, THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR LOVE, PRAYERS AND SUPPORT

May 16th - May 17th My Best Friend gets married in Vegas

My best friend Cassi and the love of her life Chris, decided to get married in Vegas.

She asked me to be in her line and to come down.

Her cousin and i drove down on the 16th and met up with everyone for a late breakfast at the IHOP.

She invited some of our old friends, ones who are living out of Utah, who came to Vegas for the wedding. i got to see Thad who i have not seen in 4 years and it was like we have never been apart. we were inseparable. i called him my guard.

we all had a lot of fun, we won then lost our money. but we all had a fun time.

then came the day where we were able to a happy couple married. Cassi looked ravishing and they were completely happy.

this is ron and i on his 2 week leave in march/april 2008

This is ron and i on his 4 day leave in august 2007

During his 4 day leave we spent time with our families and was preparing for him to be gone to Iraq for at least 8 months

When he came home on his 2 week leave, I put him to work right away. we had our friends Richard, Justin, Becky, Dee, RD, and of course both of our wonderful brothers Josh and Eric, help us move into our first apartment together.

during the next few months i had to adjust being out on my own. it was hard at times b/c i did feel alone. with ron in Iraq it was not easy.

but i have a wonderful mom who would let me come over anytime i want and gave ron and i some of the biggest support that we needed.

also, my best friend cassi would come over and keep me company.

then some of my really good friends moved into an apartment in the same complex as me so i was able to go see them, and they and i have now dubbed their little dogs my nephews.

what else had helped me through that time was school. i worked hard and received 2 more A's :D

Post-Anderson site

This is my first time doing one of these blogs. This is going to be showing of Ron and I along with our family and friends, animals included.

Ron and I are finally together physically after a long Iraqi tour for him. It was difficult to have him gone, but have become closer than ever.

Next stop planning the wedding. we will also have news of our wedding on this site to keep family and friends informed, b/c we have so many that it's hard to call everyone at once.
