melvin debuts

hello everyone i am melvin and derek recruited me to join his great powarful label last year, ever since he started the thing, so ya, im one of the oldest artistes in the label around!

although this is my first post.



ok anyway, derek's more into mixing but i'm more of the producer type, i love the sounds of synth and i dig electro/prog/tech house, trance, electronica, blabla. for the record i've made 2 songs so far (i could prolly make more if i wasn't playing kiddy games so often)

The first one's called Robbie, and the verdict on that one is that it's catchy and all, though on hindsight it can be a bit shallow, as it lacks some layers, doesn't sound too fully matured but hey for a first song I guess mistakes are allowed.

The second song, Konata, well I love it, maybe it's lacking in effects and fills but I like the melodies and instrument blending, and everytime I listen to it I think at least I can come up with something pretty decent, k enough comments here's some linx for you all:

iLike sound quality sounds better than myspace, though imo both sound pretty crappy, makes my songs sound watered down and noobly, as it really dulls the effect of the synths >.< I'll find a good place to upload the songs soon so folks can hear it in a quality that does it justice, until then, enjoy what there is to hear! love comments and flames. oh and if any musichead is interested in us and wants to collaborate, let us know!
